Chapters

Back in 2011, art was cut from the California school budget. Was not the plan, but I married a teacher. And when art was cut from the budget, it was like, how do we give back? Like, that's unacceptable. Art's what kept me in school. My kids were 6 and 8. We'd used plenty of crayons by then. So we were at a restaurant, asked the waitress what they did with these crayons, and they said they had to get rid of 'em. So again, from the supply chain side and all that other stuff, you're like, ooh, free materials. How hard could this be? We'll just take this free. We'll just make it over here and it'll be a win-win.
