How to Get Clients With No Case Studies or Testimonials

Jimmy Funk shows how to land clients for a lead-gen agency without case studies or testimonials by sending a video sales letter via cold email that pre-sells prospects before the call. Use third-party stats to build trust, speak with confidence on the sales call, and focus on ROI and outcomes.
So in today's video I will be answering probably one of the most common questions I get, which is how can you actually get clients without having any case studies or without having any testimonials? Because the main concern that most people have when it comes to starting a lead generation agency is how am I going to sign clients if I have no clients or I have no testimonials or have no case studies? And that's a pretty valid question. It's one of the biggest questions I get. I, I had the question myself because maybe you're new to this space or maybe you've been running your lead generation agency, but you just simply don't have a large amount of clients that you could use as case studies right now. And maybe you're worried that you're just going to jump onto all of these sales calls and you're going to have to tell these business owners that you could do all of this stuff, you could help them book sales calls, you can help them make more money, but you just have no reviews and you just have no proof to kind of just back up your claim. So, so today I'm just gonna be walking you through the specific strategy that I used when I first started my lead generation agency that led to me signing my first five clients all without using a single case study. And this is a very powerful strategy. So make sure you stick around. And in case you don't know who I am, my name is Jimmy Funk. This was me a few years ago working at McDonald's. This was me a few years after that before I started my business where I was working in sales at IBM. This is a picture of me and this is what I look like right now. And in case you don't know who I am, I started my lead generation agency I In October 2022, by December 2022, so literally three months later, I hit $10,000 in a single month I signed four clients that led me to doing this. To date, I've scaled my business to consistent 50 to 60 grand months. Our best month was $83,000 a month. And this was two months ago in November. And that's what, you know, that looks like. So I am someone who had built my own lead generation agency at one point. Like everyone else, I started without a single case study, without any proof. And I still able to get started and build my business and just make a ton of money. Right? So let's jump right into it. So let's start with the bad news. So the bad news is most people, the concern that they have when it comes to, oh, I don't have any case studies or proof. What they're really thinking about is, okay, I'm booking sales calls, but I'm on these sales calls. And then people are just like, oh, you have proof? Can you send me some case studies? I interview, Can I talk with one of your clients? And the truth is, by the time you hear this on the actual sales call, it's already kind of too late, right? That's the truth, right? If you hear that on the sales call, you probably have less than like 5% chance of actually closing the prospect. Because what it means is if they say it to, that, if they say that to you on the actual sales call, it means they just don't fully trust you, right? In the most direct way possible. That's just what it means. They just don't trust what you're saying on the sales call. And no matter what you say, your answer will be perceived as a defensive answer. That's literally what it is, right? They're actively asking you, and what are you gonna say, right? Oh, I don't have any clients, I don't have any case studies. Yeah, you're done, right? So by the time you hear on the sales call, it's really too late. But the also truth is, if they do ask you, you just gotta be honest and you just really can't lie, right? I've had a lot of people ask me, hey, Jimmy, should I just make a fake case study or should I just steal someone else's case study? And you honestly do not wanna do that. And I'll tell you why. On top of the fact that it's honestly just dishonest, you're building a business with low integrity. The worst reason why you just don't wanna do that is because let's imagine a scenario where you have your sales pitch, everything sounds good. The prospect says to you, hey Jimmy, can you show me some proof that this works? Do you have any case studies? And you have this fake case study of just like your friend or some dude that you made up just randomly, right? Let's assume it works. In a best case scenario, it just works. And that client, they pay you $3,000 and they get started with your business, but because you've never even had a single client before, you honestly don't even know what you're doing, your onboarding process sucks, Your communication probably isn't that good, you don't know how to have good expectations, Everything like that. What would that client feel, right? These people aren't stupid. They're business owners, right? They're going to get started with you and realize, hey, this person just doesn't have their shit together, right? They just honestly don't know how it works. And again, right, they're not stupid. They're going to realize that they're the first client, and then they're going to think back to the sales call where you literally told them, hey, we work with all of these other people and we got them great results. And your new client is going to think, I don't know about that one. Did this person just lie to me? And that will just set, number one, the relationship off just on the wrong foot. But you also open the door to actual refunds and chargebacks, which means you actually lose money, right? Because you know you lose money when people charge back and you lose refunds, right? Stuff like that, right? So, number one, number one rule, never lie. Always be honest. If people ask you, it is what it is. Just tell them, hey, to be completely honest, Mr. Prospect, I don't have any case studies. I don't have any proof. Just be honest, right? Honesty is the key to business. If you want to be in business long term, understand that because of this, you will lose a few deals just because you don't have proof. That's just the way it is, right? It is what it is. And you just have to accept the fact that if people ask you, you tell them you don't have case studies. A portion of people, they're just going to be turned off. That's just what it is, right? And you also have to understand that the beautiful thing about business is business gets easier with time. It's supposed to be difficult in the beginning. That's just how it works, right? And honestly, if you're honest with people, I've had people that I work with where they tell people on the sales call, hey, Mr. Prospect, I don't have any case studies. We're a startup. We just started and the Prospect actually closed on like 1500 2000, $3000 deals because they're like, all right, we're a startup at one point as well. We understand the struggles. We'll just get started with you. We'll take a leap of faith and we'll get started, right? So it's actually beneficial just to be completely honest and just tell people that you're brand new and you don't have case studies. That's just the way it is. Business is going to be hard. It'll get easier when you do get case studies. Now the good news is, is the entire strategy that we want to use, the entire strategy that will be sharing with you today, it kind of revolves around preventing them from just asking this in the first place. So if you execute on the strategy that I'm sharing with you today correctly, the chance of people even asking you, hey, do you have case studies I could take a look at just drastically reduces and it's just very unlikely to happen, right? And if you do this strategy the right way, it's not a dishonest strategy, you're not lying in any single way. It's a strategic way that just builds a lot of trust and builds a lot of credibility even before the sales call. And understand this strategy and just implementing it the right way keyword, the right way is arguably one of the biggest reasons for my own success with my own agency and the success of all the people that I work with, right? So for example, here's screenshots of just interviews that I've had with all the people I've worked with on my YouTube channel of people who started their own lead generation agency and made substantial amount of money to saw success, right? So Daniel making 13k, Spencer making 11k, Kevin making 9.5k. You get the point. And I'm not showing you this proof to sell you on the idea of working with me, you know, otherwise I would literally spend the next five minutes just slapping all of the, you know, screenshots and proof that I have, because I just have way more. The reason I'm sharing this with you is because every single one of these people that you see and all the other countless testimonials that I have, every single one of those people implemented what I'm sharing with you today. So just make sure that you pay attention. That's kind of the main premise of this. You really want to pay attention to this. Because the very first thing you want to understand is it's not that you don't have experience, is that people just don't trust you. And that sounds really simple. Even for me, as I'm saying this out loud, it sounds like no shit, right? But that's the truth, right? It's not that you don't have experience, it's that people don't trust you. Because the truth is, is you do have experience, right? If you're running a lead generation agency, all you're doing is you're connecting businesses with their own clients. And how you're doing that is with cold emails, right? But how you're even gonna get this client in the first Place is you're also using cold emails. So number one, as a lead generation agency, you're setting up the cold email system, you're using it for yourself to number one, land a client in the first place. So by the time you even get onto the sales call, you literally have experience. Because otherwise if you didn't do it the right way, you wouldn't even have that sales call to start with. Right? So that's the very first thing you have to get out of your head is you will have experience. By the time you even get onto the sales call, if you're executing on this strategy the right way, you will have experience. It's just you're not doing it the right way and people just don't trust you. And that's the beauty of lead generation. It's a very simple thing. You know, some other business models, let's say you're selling ads as a service, you're selling Facebook ads to e commerce brands. It's very unlikely that you're using Facebook ads for yourself to, you know, get in touch with that marketing agency. You're probably sending DMs or maybe cold emails or doing all these other things. So by the time you get a client, you're, you're literally running ads for the very first time. You're opening the Facebook ads manager for the very first time in your life. So that's why as a lead generation agency, it's also one of the most simplest business models that anyone can start. Because all you're really learning is how to code emails. You're doing it for yourself. And then once you have a client, meaning it works, you're also doing it for your client as well. So number one, you do have experience and you've done it before, otherwise you literally wouldn't have that sales call. But on a more tactical level, here's how most people think about sales. And I know this because when I started my business, I, you know, just went through a lot of YouTube videos. And this is literally how most people describe it. Most people think everything starts with the cold email and you're pushing directly for a sales call. And on that sales call, now this is the part where the sales call where you do all of the selling, right? You talk about how everything works. Your objection handle. I need to think about it. No you don't. Right. And stuff like that, right. And you're just directly going for the cash right away. This is how most people think about sales, like legitimately speaking. And although this might have worked maybe like 10 years ago. Things are different now, right? Consumer trust is at all time low. The economy in North America is honestly not the greatest spot. The world is, you know, in a headed in an interesting place and people just don't really trust other people, right? Or better or for worse. And what that means is it's going to be very hard to hop on a sales call and within 45 minutes go through your pitch, explain how everything works, build a ton of trust, build a ton of credibility and at the end of those 45 minutes be like, hey, by the way, our service cost 3000 doll. How would you like to pay, right? It's just not gonna work. Your conversion rate is gonna be really, really low. And that's if you even get a sales call in the first place, which is, you know, arguably gonna be a very hard challenge just by itself. But here's how the most successful businesses, they actually think about sales. This is how and what I learned while working at IBM, which is, you know, one of the largest tech companies in the world. I know a lot of successful online business owners who sell high ticket services online. And this is how all of them do it. They look at it, let's say they're sending cold emails as a form of traffic, right? Here's the sales call and here's collecting the money. What they do instead is all of the selling happens in here in between the time that people find out about you. And before people jump onto the sales call, 85% of the selling happens before the actual sales call. And most people don't even realize this, but what the most successful businesses do is they do whatever it takes to make sure by the time people jump on a sales call that they're already 80 to 85% of the way there in terms of close, right? In their own mind, they're like, bet I'm already ready to move forward. So all they have to do on the sales call is run over logistical details, obviously run over how everything works. Once again, make sure it's a good fit. And then they close a deal at the end of that 45 minute call and they're like, oh yeah, by the way, this cost $3,000. And then the prospect's like, sure, send me the invoice, let's get started right now. This is how most successful businesses think about sales. All of the selling happens here because before the actual sales call, and if you do it the right way, where you're selling in here, by the time you get onto the sales call, people won't say, hey Jimmy, by the way. Can you show me a case study? Can you show me some proof of how everything works? So what you need to do, this entire strategy revolves around pre selling prospects. Pre selling people pre selling these business owners before the actual sales call. And if you do this the right way, again, 85% of the selling literally happens before the actual conversation. And if you don't do it like this, then obviously your conversion rate will be really shit. Could be very, very low. Probably going to be selling closing like 5% or less. So you take 100 sales calls, you go close five people, you take 10 sales calls, you might not even close one guy. And on top of it, almost every single person you're going to take these sales calls with is going, by the way, show me some proof that this works simply because they just don't trust you. So here's how you actually implement the strategy of doing all of the selling before the actual zoom call. Because your goal is to get as many people as mentally close as much as possible before the actual sales call. And if you do this the right way, you, you don't even need to be good at sales. This is how I really did it. When I first started, I was pretty bad at sales. I looked really young as well. So that certainly didn't help my case, right? People I'd be talking to like 30 year old business owners or like 4 year old business owners. And don't be me who's like 20 years old jumping on with pimples all over my face, just looking really, really young with braces and all of these other things, right? But that's why I'm still able to close all of these deals. How I got from zero to $10,000 in my first 90 days, because I understood this concept that people would already be pre sold. If I sold people before the actual sales call, I wouldn't have to be good at sales and people would already be pre sold. And the best way to do that is by leveraging what's called a sales asset. So kind of like an asset that is used to sell people. And more specifically, I leverage a strategy called a vsl. A Video sales letter. That's what it stands for. And a video sales letter is an evergreen video. Evergreen meaning a video that you literally film with one time. And it kind of acts as a digital sales agent for you where you're able to send that one video that you film one time that you know it's somewhere between 20 and 40 minutes long. You sit there, you film it one time, and you're able to send it to 10 people, 100 people, 1,000 people, it really doesn't matter because you're sending the same video over and over again and it kind of does all of the selling for you, A pre selling for you, right? So with this strategy, what you want to do with a vsl, and this is honestly where most people get this wrong. And I know this for a fact that because I worked with over 150 people, helped them start their own lead generation agency. And almost every single one of them before they started working with me, maybe they went through my YouTube, maybe they tried building a video sales editor themselves, maybe they went through a different course or maybe they just even watched different YouTube videos about how to build VSLs. And most people, I look at what they have and I'm like, oh yeah, you should probably change your overall strategy because most people are just doing this wrong. Because how you want to do the most important part and how you want to think about effective sales asset, effective VSL is, is you need to give people undeniable facts proving what you're saying is true. So what I mean by this is let's say you're selling cold email lead generation, which if you're watching this video, you probably are. What most people do in their VSL is they say something like, oh yeah, by the way, cold emails is a very effective channel for booking sales calls. They say something like that. If they say that at all. And most people don't even say that because they don't even realize that they need to be saying that. But let's say someone realizes they need to sell people on the idea of, of cold emails don't just simply say, well, cold emails is the best. I know this because I did it myself. That's not really an undeniable fact because you have to understand that you're selling to random people who just don't know who you are. People already don't trust you, right? When people first get introduced to you, they first hear about you, first hear about your service. They're worse than neutral trust. They're worse than that. So let's say neutral trust is here, they're actually over here, which means they actually believe that you're out to scam them. So it's up to you to number one, get them to neutral trust and build trust. So this is another line of trust. Build even more trust and get over here, which is the money, right? Which is the trust. And the drawings are really, really bad. I apologize, but that's what you have to do right? You're starting from a place where you have worse than neutral trust. People just believe you're a scammer. So whatever you say from your own mouth, people will just take it with a grain of salt. Okay, this guy thinks Cody must is the best. That's his opinion, right? It's his opinion that Cody Mills is the best. So what you have to do is you have to give undeniable facts that Cody Mills just worked. And it can't be from your own mouth. It can't sound like opinion. And more importantly, how you want to do it is you want to construct your arguments in a way where people come to the conclusion by themselves. Because again, back to the point. If you just tell people that coding must work, that you can help them book sales calls, people will literally listen to what you're saying and they'd be like, for sure, bro, for sure. You know, but you know, this is your opinion. I don't know this to be true. But it's way more powerful if people literally come to their own conclusions that cold emails, number one works and number one, code emails is the most effective channel. And number two, it'll work for them. So people need to come to the conclusion by themselves. You can't just be telling people that coding most work. And inside your vsl, what you number one want to do is you want to sell the vehicle, you sell people on the idea of cold emails. Why is cold emails the best? Why does cold emails work? And yet they give undeniable truths, undeniable facts, that cold emails is the best. And it can't be, in my opinion, code emails is the best. It has to be a concrete fact that people cannot argue with. The next thing you want to do is, how you want to go about doing that is you need to lean on third party credibility. You need to post statistics. You need to find articles where people, credible people or credible sources are literally saying that cold emails is the best channel to, to book sales costs. That's how you want to do it. And more importantly, you want to be proving yourself to be an expert, because that's what experts do. Experts pull on facts. You will never find an expert that says, well, based on my own opinion, XYZ is the best. They'll say, well, based on this study, based on this research, XYZ is the best. And that's why I'm recommending it to you as well. That's what experts do. And if you do this process the right way, where you're leaning on third party credibility and Facts, you'll be establishing yourself as an expert. And, and more importantly, and this is really where most people really do struggle with VSLs is they're just not able to come up with an angle that makes what they sell sound different. Because the truth is, is there's a bunch of people selling the same service as you. That's just the truth. No matter what you sell, there'll be a lot of people selling the same thing as you. And the number one objection that people will get other than hey, can you send me some proof of case studies is going to be okay, what, what makes you different? And you're not able to, you know, to explain what makes you different in a convincing manner, you're not going to get a sale, right? It's going to be uphill battle and it's going to be very, very hard to actually sign clients for yourself. So here's an example of a BSL that I literally, that I literally created last week. It's not on YouTube, so as you can see, it's actually unlisted. So you're not going to find this on my YouTube channel and I unlisted it on purpose just because this is the VSL that I'm using for my own lead generation agency. Obviously this YouTube channel is not necessarily geared to towards the businesses that I work with. And on top of it, I also don't necessarily want a thousand people or just people just copying me word for word and making what I use just ineffective. But here's a screenshot of this BSO that I'm using. And as you can see, I'm pulling on stats, right? Despite this B2B code, email is one of the most effective tactics. 71% of buyers, I'm pulling from a stat. Here's another stat. 80% of buyers willingly accept sales meetings. So number one, I'm pulling on stats that prove what I'm saying is true. So it doesn't sound like an opinion anymore because there's a stat there. That's what I'm doing and that bolsters my credibility and it sells people on the vehicle itself, which is that Cody must work and it'll work for them. Because according to this stat, according to that stat, Cody must is the best way to do that. What I'm also doing is I'm explaining what I'm doing. That's different, right? Because the truth is, is I'm selling to marketing agencies. And most marketing agencies have tried cold emails or worse, they've tried another agency and they kind of just got burned so what I'm doing is I'm really breaking down my process and I'm explaining what I'm doing that's different. And I literally have a whole section in my vsl. I probably talk for like two minutes. The main reason why cold emails won't work for you and I literally point blank say if you've ever tried cold emails as a lead generation strategy or maybe you work with another service provider and simply didn't get results. Here are three reasons why. I literally tell them why whatever they did didn't work and what I do is different. And this is what experts do. And if you're doing this the right way, you will be seen as an expert. And more importantly, people won't ask you, hey, do you have proof this works and what makes it different? But this is kind of where most people get this wrong, to be honest with you, right? I've seen a lot of VSLs, I worked with a lot of people helping them build their VSLs. And most people are just unable to do this right the first time they do it. And that's completely fine, right? The first time I did it, I wasn't doing it like this either, right? And the only way that I learned how to do this was just by making so many VSLs. Right. Honestly speaking, and getting just feedback on what I was doing and making those adjustments. And just to prove to you. So this is the VSL that I sent. You know, this is inside of Inbox Lab, which is a private consulting, paid consulting program that I have helping people start their own lead generation agencies. This is inside the community where I dropped the link to, you know, that unlisted VSL just so that everyone else could take a look. I launched that campaign and on January 14th I literally put a screenshot. So I think I launched this campaign on January 12th. I sent this screenshot on January 14th where I sent 1,000 cold emails and I got six positive replies. So out of this, out of this 900 people that I emailed, six people I sent the VSL to, right. Obviously the bounce rates is a little high, the open rates a little bit lower than I would have wanted. But the point is I'm still booking sales calls. I was getting interest and I actually booked well at this point. I got one book sales call today. I booked three sales calls in literally the last week just from this BSL. And I'm sending like 300 cold emails a day. So I'm purposely not sending a lot of cold emails. And I also inside this vsl, I built this out on purpose to not include any case studies, right? Because I have a lot of case studies at my own lead generation agency. I could have just spammed case studies, to be honest with you, but I wanted to just make this BSL in a way and share it with everyone else inside Inbox Lab just to prove to them that you don't need case studies. If you're doing this the right way, you're gonna get calls, right? And more importantly, you're gonna close deals. And to date, I booked three sales calls, and I closed one of those deals and I didn't hear, hey, do you have any case studies experiences? And you know, if you're interested in seeing that sales call, maybe I'll put on YouTube, just drop me a comment and I'll consider just dropping that on YouTube, like the actual sales conversation on me closing that deal. It was a $5,000 deal, by the way, right? I didn't use a single case study, right? Because this process just works, right? Here's a reply of one of the people that I called email. Hey, Jimmy. Yes, we'll be happy to chat with you, right? Because I sent VSL and they watched it and they're like, well, this guy, number one, knows what he's doing. I believe in him, and he's a credible expert. I'd be happy to chat with this person, right? So that's really what it comes down to. And I shared this exact vsl, my exact code email inside of Inbox Lab IO, if you're interested in joining that, click the first link in the description. We'll set up a time to chat, and we'll see if we were a good fit to work together. But that's not the point of this video right now, right? I'm just showing you that this stuff just works. Like, literally what I'm sharing with you just works. This VSL I put together on YouTube, it's printing because I just know what I'm doing, right? That's the honest truth, right? Now, the second aspect for how to remove the hey, do you have any case studies? Is during the actual sales call, right? What you want to do on the actual sales call is, number one, you have to speak with confidence. You have to know what you're saying, why you're saying it, and saying in a way where you sound like an expert. Because imagine just let's say you walk into a doctor's appointment and let's say your shoulder hurts. Let's just say. And let's say you go to the doc like hey, doc, my shoulder kind of hurts. And the doc, he kind of sounds a little bit nervous. He's like, well, I think you need to get this medicine for shoulder, right? What is the first thing you're gonna think of if the doctor speaks like that? You're gonna be like, hmm, I hear what you're saying, doc, but I don't know, why do you sound a little bit unconfident? You're the expert here. How come you don't sound that confident that you can help me? And the exact same thing applies for your own service. If you're not speaking with confidence, you're gonna create that doubt, right? People will come onto the sales call. If you have a well put together vsl, they're already trusting you. But if you speak in a way that doesn't create that trust, that doesn't create that confidence, that doesn't inspire that confidence, you're gonna create doubt inside the prospect's mind. That's the number one thing. I review a lot of sales call. All the people that I do privately work with, I review all their sales call. And the number one thing that people lack is the confidence. And the reason why they lack that confidence is because they just don't know what to ask, right? People, you know, come up with all of these sales scripts, but it just doesn't work. Because the biggest reason why sales scripts don't work is because people are just reading a question, but they don't understand, number one, why they're asking that question, and number two, what is the purpose of that question? What are they looking to get out of that specific question they're asking on the sales call? And because they lack that overall foresight as to, number one, what they're asking and why they're asking it, they end up speaking with no confidence. They ramble all of these different things and they just don't come off the confident like as confident as they need to in order to make a sale. What you also need to do on a sales call is you need to demonstrate your roi. If you're selling lead generation services, it's a roi. Sorry, I'm just trying to write roi. Well, you know, my writing is bad anyways. It's a ROI service, right? So you're helping businesses make more money. And if you're able to demonstrate ROI on the actual sales call, it's to going. Going to be a pretty easy close. Next thing you could do is you could literally say, hey, well we literally did this for ourselves. The reason we're even chatting on the sales call right now is because we sent you a cold email where we leverage this exact process inside our own business and we're essentially just going to do the exact same thing for you instead of your own business. Right? It works, otherwise we wouldn't be on the sales car in the first place. So that's a massive thing, right? Because it's proof of concept. You're again, right, you're not inexperienced. People just don't trust you. And if you do all the other things right, you set up the before the sales cost sequence and leverage that strategy the right way, the VSL strategy the right way. You speak with confidence, you demonstrate ROI and you literally demonstrate that you have experience, people will trust you. Right. Again, demonstrate roi. Well, this is a duplicate of this one, so definitely an error there. Again, be honest, don't lie. If people ask you, it is what it is, just tell them, hey, by the way, we just started, we are a startup, we just don't have any case studies, right? Is that something that's going to hold you back from potentially working with us? That's really what you want to say. Just be honest and don't lie and focus on overarching goals and problems. So one of the biggest issues that people have on a sales call is they just get way too much into the weeds, right? A lot of people, they end up talking about domains or email accounts or VSLs. You do not need to be talking about any of those things. Remember, these are business owners. So they're chatting with you because they want more sales costs because they want to make more money, they want to make more revenue inside the business. Focus on that, right? Focus on the overarching outcome. Hey, we will help you book sales costs. What type of impact would that have for your business? What type of impact would making more revenue have for your own business? Right? Focus on overarching problems and goals. Don't get too much in the weeds. The second you get, you start, you know, again, right? I review a lot of sales costs and a lot of people, they end up talking about email warm ups or how many domains or how many email accounts or how much this costs. And by the time you talk about any of those things, if you even talk about those things, you're not closing the deal, right? Because that's too logical and too much of a technical conversation. Right? And I'll definitely make another video about sales calls where we'll talk about this in way more detail. So again, drop that in the link below if you want to see a live sales Call where I closed a $5,000 deal off of a cold email with no case studies approved. Drop that in the comments if you want to see that right now. Right? But focus on the overarching problems and goals. Don't get too technical. Focus on roi, most important thing. And inspire confidence. Right? Ask yourself, would you buy from you if you heard the way you talked? And if the answer is no, well, you got some stuff to work on, like, to be honest, right? And you either do that with reps or hiring some kind of sales coach that reviews your sales calls and reviewing them and telling you, hey, don't say this, say this. Instead of you're saying this the wrong way, say it this way, stuff like that, right? And again, right? It's a learning curve. Don't be too hard on yourself. So that's basically it for today's video. And just to show you of how I've been able to help specific people start their own lead generation agencies and sign clients without any case studies, here's an example of someone I worked with. Her name is Kaudni. She works as a data analyst. So she had no sales experience. She's never done this before. And we started working together beginning of August, right? She sent me her cold email sequence. I took a look. She sent me her vsl. I took a look there, right? I, you know, I literally give, you know, I make the edits for her. So I'm literally like rewriting her cold emails for her in a way that actually gets replies and actually inspires confidence without having case studies, of course, reviewing her BSL and her sales asset, giving her insights, right. Another example is I'm helping Sydney. This is a few weeks later where she got a sales call and she was asking me some questions, right? She was asking me how she should best reply back to people. A lot of people really do struggle. I sent her a voice memo giving her direction on how she wants to do it and how she wants to turn this guy who just simply raised his hand and showed some interest. How do you nurture him, build a lot of trust and get him onto a sales call where you're collecting money. Sydney was then able to book the actual sales call based on the advice I gave her. And she recorded her sales call and I took a look, I gave her feedback, like these voice memos actually gave her feedback. And I literally said, hey, Sydney, for this actual sales call, talk like this. Talk with a little bit more confidence. Talk about this, don't talk about that. Don't talk about, you know, email Domains and email accounts. Don't talk about warm ups, talk about this instead. The overarching goals and desires, the roi. How do you position your offer in a way where people won't ask you for case studies and proof? And here is literally a few days after that where she just signed her first client ever for $3,000 a month and $500 per call. That's what she was able to do. First client. So she doesn't have any case studies or proof. And it all stemmed because she was doing and executing the strategy the right way. She worked directly with me and, and got that support and she was able to literally sign her first client within a month with no case studies approved. Here's another example with someone that I'm working with right now, Suleiman, right, where I'm working with him again, similar to Sydney. He doesn't have any case studies approved. He started sending some cold emails and he got a reply, didn't know how to reply back to this person. The person he sent out, Suleiman literally sent a VSL to this person and the person literally replied back and says, hey, this video is 28 minutes long. I'm not watching through that, right? So very aggressively, which will happen. I gave him some direction on exactly what to say to book this person onto a sales call. 45 minute voice memo. He got that. And then this person literally hit Suleiman with, hey, I need some numbers for similar clients. Do you have any case studies essentially, right, B2B SaaS, businesses, which Suleiman obviously does not have because he's starting this for the very first time. I give him some direction as a, hey, here's what you want to do. And he was able to book a sales call, right? So I actually took a look at what I call the inbox management breakdown. So obviously this was a more in depth conversation, right? So this person replied back multiple times and I literally filmed the whole loom. I think this loom was like 10 minutes long where I pulled up all of the screenshots of suing man's conversation. I was like, here, man, talk about this instead. Right? I'm going to zoom in. I don't know if you see this, but here are the, here's the actual conversation from the cold emails. I'm like, hey, you should say it like this, talk like this, ask this question. Here's how you reply to actually book sales call. A lot of people get this wrong because they're doing it the wrong way. They, they just simply don't know how to Reply back to leads the right way. I gave him an insight, you know, he was just like, yeah, this is great. He asked me some questions. I got back to him and lo and behold, he was able to book this person in for an actual sales call, all without having a single case study where this person literally asked him, hey, do you have proof of a case study? Right? Because this process, it literally just works, right? I literally told Suleiman, hey, here's how you want to execute on the cold email strategy, the VSL strategy to sell people before the sales call. Here's how you want to take these actual sales conversations. And that's what I did with Sydney and Suleiman. Those are kind of the, some of the best examples of how working with me looks like and how I'm tangibly able to help people start a lead generation agency and just sign clients. That's literally all it is. How can I help people make money with their own lead generation agency when they're starting this from the ground with no proof or case studies? Right? Here's another example. Daniel, I have an interview with him on my channel. He's at $13,000 per month and he literally messaged me a few months ago, bro, the sales call you reviewed for Jessica, because I reviewed his sales call, she's signing to a retainer and revenue model. I was like, how much you make? $13,000 for three clients. His first three clients with Christian, who landed his first client for $1500 up front and $2000 per month. Russell, out of all the sales costs he's ever had, he just signed his first ever client doing a $1,500 setup fee. And he said the client recognized that I was new. And I said, I want to help out a fellow startup. So that's what I mean, right? Just be honest with people. At the end of the day, if people ask you that, it is what it is. Just tell them, hey, to be truth, to be completely honest with you, I don't have any case studies. Is that something that's just going to hold you back from working together and just be honest with people? And even for Russell, he signed his first client, even telling him that he doesn't have any case studies or proof. We had Nelson, this guy's a nurse and he signed his first client for $1,500. And we have Jordan, who literally attributed it to luck, which honestly, it's not because he just executed the strategy right way. He started his cold email campaign on May 1, booked his first sales call and signed his first client for $2,000 setup. And finally we have Tom's who literally closed his first deal ever for doll 500. And he literally said, English is not even my first language. I would say from the selling aspect I was not good at all. But the guy was already pre sold because of the VSL and the way I described things so clearly there. Because this strategy, it literally just works, right? There's no other way to explain it. Just so much proof that this works. I done it myself. All of these other people that I literally just showed you, all of these people with interviews on my, you know, YouTube channel, done it as well. And if you want to want help with starting your own lead generation agency with the overall goal of getting to five to ten grand per month in the next ninety days, in the next three months, and you want to work with me together to get you there, then the first link in the description below will be a link to set up a time to chat. And if you don't want to work with me, which is completely fine, if you just want to continue doing it yourself, you kind of want to trial and error your way there, or you don't really know if this is for you and you just want to learn a little bit more, then the second link in the description below is a link to a full YouTube course that I recently put together. It's very in detail, it's very step by step and you can watch that video and understand how everything works and you can just try it yourself. But obviously understand that if you do try it yourself, you're going to have to just, you're going to get rejected a lot. You're going to hear people say, hey, show me some proof. You have case studies, stuff like that, right? And because the truth is you're probably just not going to execute on these things the right way the first time you do it. And that's just the truth. That's just how everything is. The first time you drive probably not be that good, right? And the first link to work with me is for people who are number one, serious about starting their own lead generation agency. And number two, more importantly, they see the value of investing money, investing resources to kind of shortcut the timelines it takes to actually see success with business, right? They don't want to wait a year in order to sign the first time for $3,000. They want to do it within the next 30 to 60 days. That's the type of people that I want to work with. And if that's you, then use the first link in the description below. Let's set up a time, let's chat. I'm going to ask you some questions, see if I can actually help you in the first place. And if we can, then we'll get started. And hopefully one day your screenshot will also be over here and. And over here. And it'll be part of these YouTube videos. But that's pretty much it. What I wanted to share with you today. Hope this video was full of value. If you liked it, make sure to drop me a. Like, make sure to drop me a. Subscribe and I'll see you in the next one. See ya.
