"Add three to five clients within the next 90 days."
Hey everyone wanted to hop on and record this quick video to just really talk about a thing that I really just thought about. Right now I'm headed towards the gym and as I was driving I was thinking about what are some of the common, I guess, misconceptions that people have in terms of cold outreach. So for those who don't know who I am, I'm Jimmy, I'm the founder of Appointment Setting Agency. Pretty much we help B2B companies book qualified sales costs. So if you're running a recruitment agency, a software development agency, a logistics company, a SaaS, any company where pretty much you make money by reaching out and selling your services to another business, then this is something that could potentially work for you. So for us, the channels that we leverage in order to help our clients get results is using cold emails. And sometimes when I'm talking to people, a lot of agency owners, company owners, I ask them, so how do you mainly go about finding clients? And they say, oh, networking, word of mouth referrals. And then I asked them, okay, so, okay, so you do it through networking and word of mouth. How do you predictably find clients? And they look at me and they don't have an answer, right? So I asked them, okay, so are you open to using cold emails just because that's what, that's a service that we offer. And almost half of those people always say no, we have not used cold emails. I think it comes off as a little bit spammy, right? And for those, what I always say, right, is yes, I think we have all you been hit up a thousand times by scammers, some Nigerian prince in Africa, something like that, who hits us up and say, yo, you have a million dollars in funds that we're ready to give to you. Now the reason why we think that is an automatic scam is because when we get those emails, something pops off in our brain almost unconsciously where because it's so irrelevant to us, we automatically market a scam, right? But if you're reaching out to someone and your message is relevant, that's the part relevancy, then it wouldn't be scammy anyways, right? So for us, for us, when I reach out to people, we're basically saying if you want to add three to five clients within the next 90 days, then what we're doing is something that could potentially help you, right? But you see how relevant our message is, right? Most of the people, if you're watching this video, there's a very strong chance that our message was extremely relevant. That we reached out to you using emails, right. And you didn't think it was spammy or it was a scam. And it was only one reason why. It's because it was relevant. You had a problem in regards to either booking qualified sales calls, having a consistent lead flow, or even signing clients. And we offer a potential solution that piqued your interest. Right. Which is the entire reason why you probably even see this video is because we have a solution to a relevant problem. So that's the key, right? If you want to make outreach messages that do not come off a scammy, whether you are emailing people, cold calling people, messaging people, people on LinkedIn, messaging people on Facebook, you have to remain relevant. And if there's one thing you take away from this video is remember to always be relevant in your messages.
