A short motivational monologue (YouTube video) arguing that people who act quickly without overanalyzing—what the speaker labels "dumber" people—often achieve desired outcomes because they take action instead of hesitating to weigh pros and cons. The central claim: action and speed produce success more often than prolonged analysis.
So if you're watching this, you probably know someone who is dumber than you, who has achieved exactly what you're looking to achieve. And the reason why they're able to do that is because if you are a smart person, anytime someone tells you to do something, do anything, you're probably sitting there weighing the pros and cons, kind of just really analyzing to make sure whatever it is that you're about to do is really the best thing that you should be doing. But someone who's dumber than you, they don't really sit there and really analyzed, right? They don't think about the pros and cons, whether it'll work, whether it won't work. They kind of just do it. And as a result, they end up achieving what you're looking to do, because they kind of just take action, move extremely quick, and remove that aspect of thinking whether something is the right decision, and it's completely out the window because they kind of just do it. Because at the end of the day, what I've realized is the people who take action are the people who will succeed.
