Did you just listen to our RevOps video where we broke down the five core processes? Did that video leave you wanting to learn more about each of those processes? Well, guess what? That's exactly what we're doing in this video series. So buckle up and let's revops. I'm Mick Hunt, CEO of Premiere StrategyBox and lover of all things. Wait, you know who I am? Let's skip the intros and let's just get down to business. In this five part video series, we're going to break down each of our RevOps processes that you need to effectively grow the revenue within your business. And today we're starting with the new business Process. The new business process starts with identifying your ideal client. Everything about your new business process should be centered around your ideal client. You should be very specific about who your ideal client is and don't get distracted by low hanging fruit. If you need an example of what an ideal client Persona looks like, see the description below for a link to a video all about the importance of your ideal client. Once your ideal client is defined, you need to build a marketing strategy to attract and communicate with them. As my good friend Chris Paradiso says, your agency must have a marketing strategy and a marketing budget. Your marketing strategy should include digital, email and social marketing campaigns. The goal of your marketing strategy is to let your ideal client know that you exist and the problems that you solve for them. Your marketing plan should be consistent and you should always use data to define what's working and what you need to tweak. Remember, effective marketing is a slow play. Don't expect instant results and give up. Stay patient and stay consistent. The next step after your marketing strategy is defined is to start prospecting. And by prospecting I mean having your sales team or your marketing team if you're more of an inbound sales setup to start making calls and setting appointments. I don't care how effective your marketing strategy is, your prospecting strategy has to include outbound calls and appointment settings. So now that you understand prospecting, let's talk about the final stages of your new business process. And that's your quote buying issue process. It's very important that your quote buying issue process be extremely easy on your prospect. Utilize intake forms, record virtual meetings and gather the information that's needed one time. Nothing drives a prospect away faster than unnecessary back and forths. As a matter of fact, studies show that once a prospect agrees to let you quote them, if you engage with that prospect more than three times before offering a proposal, your chances of winning the business reduces by 65%. It's also important that you keep your prospect up to date with your quote, buying issue process. By keeping your prospect up to date, you show that you're in control of the process. Here's a pro tip. Use your CRM to set up automation to communicate with your prospect along the new customer journey. There you have it folks. That's the high level breakdown of the new business process. If you found this video valuable, share it with a friend or colleague. As always, make sure that you like this channel and subscribe.
