A metaphysical framework divides each person into a current, handicapped self and a potential self, which the speaker equates with God. He uses a video-game analogy: your spirit drops a token into a body, forgetting what it chose before birth, including your family and circumstances. Life's constraints are self-selected conditions you agreed to play through.

Let me tell you how the world works. It's actually a quite simple design. Think of it as four separate shapes. The circle, triangle, square, and this like sun type multidiagonal symbol. So here is the truth of the matter. You have only two selves. Your current self, which is essentially a handicapped position. And I'll explain in a second why this is truly handicapped, and the potential self, which is who you are becoming. Now, many people do not understand this, but I believe almost every single religion would agree with this, that this potential self is actually what is God meaning to say? Think for yourself and ask yourself, if God can do it, is it possible? And if your answer is yes, God can do this, and this is possible for your potential self, some people who veer all the way to the other end of the spectrum, they think that they are God. And for more than religious reasons, I like to dispel that. Okay? Think of everything around you. The world which you live in, this earth that we exist in, as essentially a simulation or a game. Okay? Now think of yourself as someone that came to the arcade to play a game, okay? That is essentially your spirit or your energy that went and dropped a token in. The minute you drop the token in, you're ported into the game, into the simulation or environment, into a small baby's body, and you're born. You have total retrograde amnesia. You forget that you are essentially this spirit who dropped in a token to play the game. And when you start playing the game is quite interesting. You feel totally handicapped. That's because when you chose your player in advance, you chose what family you'll be born into. You chose the environment, and you also chose.
