Unlocking Your True Desires: The Art of Goal Setting and Achieving Success

Izzy Kiver explains how COE helps 16-to-25-year-olds find authentic goals instead of fake ones shaped by advertising and social pressure. He describes a "desire loop" where you reassess what you want as you achieve things, and breaks down three ways to communicate: from the head like Jordan Belfort, the heart through personal stories, or the root like Obama. COE aims to sign 5,000 students by Q1 2026.

A lot of people set goals, but they're not real goals. And real or fake, real goal or fake goal, I would say is determined by something like this.
It's your own commitment and self-belief. If you believe you can, you will. You will find a way because there's so many ways to accomplish things that there is no way that something isn't accomplishable, realistic, if you just really want it.
So if someone asks like, what does COE do? What does kiver.org do? Right? What does the 7 teachings do? Right? Or what's like the whole philosophy? It's basically in one sentence, I help you figure out what you want and how to get it. It's really those two things. What do you desire most in life? I help you figure that out. And how to get it, because most teens, and I mean 16 to 25, talking about like from time you're in high school until you're through college, most teens don't know what they want even. They don't know what to want. They don't know where to go. Should I do software engineering? Should I do this? Very few like yourself where you've started at a very young age to do software engineering. You already know what you want. You know you want to be an entrepreneur. You know you want to code. You know you want to do all these different things. So you— It's easier because you know what you want to an extent, right? Because there are obvious levels and levels deep. So it's never a one thing. It's more like an iterative cycle. It's more like a loop, you know, like know what you want, how to get it, and then know what you want, how to get it, figure out what you want. You have to keep figuring out what you want throughout life because if you keep getting the things you want, You'll, you'll need to want new things. If you don't want new things, then one of two things has happened. Either you've reached nirvana or you're depressed. Okay. So to me, I don't like working against the flow because people kind of like take a lot of these things that are natural to us and they try to use them against you. Sex, they use against you. They use, they'll be like, oh, you can't uncover yourself. You cover your body in public. You have to be covered up and women have to be covered up and stuff. And it'll blast billboards or blast advertisements with like half-naked women to get you to buy beer or buy cars and shit. So it's like, it's deceptive. It's basically dual programming. It's programming you that this is taboo, and I'll use the taboo against you to make you buy stuff. It's evil. It's absolute, it's core fucking evil. So, figure out what you want.
People reach towards like the forbidden and towards what they don't have, like instinctively.
So that's why you have to figure out what you really want because someone might say like, oh, I wanna do cocaine, like I wanna get high or I wanna party, wanna hang out with friends or whatever. It's like, is that a wish? Is that like wishful thinking? Is that like something that you kind of want? What do you really want? What do you truly desire? And I almost feel it's almost like the devil coming and saying, what is it that you desire? What is your ultimate desire? And there's a TV show called Lucifer, and Lucifer comes to people and he wants to do a deal with them, right? A deal with the devil. A deal with the devil where Lucifer comes and he's like, what is your biggest desire? What is your ultimate desire? And people don't know how to ask. Is the thing. People are like, oh, I want lots of money or lots of freedom, or I want— people say all these things where they miss the mark and they're going after goals that aren't their own, whether according to Transurfing reality or not their door. You have to figure out what your door is, right? Because you might be going after Atlas, and God forbid, but maybe it's possible Atlas is not your door. If it's not your door, You won't have any satisfaction from it. You won't make any money from it. It's not going to work for you. You can only basically access the things that are your door. The things that are your door are the things that are truly aligned, not from your brain, but from your heart. And I didn't understand what the hell this means. What does it mean heart? What does it mean brain? Because for me, and for a lot of people who are intellectual, they're all brain. They're all in the— they call them all in the head. And they had this doctor of osteopathy, basically a medical doctor in the US, DO. And she was also very spiritual. She practiced, you know, daimoku for over 17, 18 years. And she had all these different types of mechanisms that were non-scientific. And it's hard for me to like trust or like take seriously people who are like very shamanic in nature. And it's much easier for me to kind of take people who are scientific in nature. But then with background in science, also learn about the supernatural. And that's much easier for me to digest personally. Maybe I should take shamans more seriously, even if they don't have backgrounds in science, but that's just me. That's probably a lot of people who kind of are like me, who are in their head. And she explained to me, Izzy, you're all in the head. Like you don't talk from the heart. And I realized that there's actually a way to talk from your head, from your heart, and from your root, from your chest. And I practice these 3 ways and it sounds different. I sound different and I can even give you a demonstration. So when I usually talk, I talk through my head. It's loud, it's high pitched. It's just like flowing thoughts, salesy. And that's how Jordan Belfort talks, would be the best example. It's all head, all ego, all head. Talking from the heart is usually when you hear me talk about my brother, I start talking from the heart and I can talk about anything from the heart. So, I can think about something I really care about, something that means something to me. I could talk about anything from the heart, but I would need to really build that connection. I can talk about, you know, my kid that's on the way. The truth is, I want to provide a happy home and a relaxed atmosphere to give my child the ability to grow, to succeed in life in ways that I myself was not, because I wasn't given that level of love, care, and mentorship. And I want to raise Sophie to have something I didn't have. And having a child for me means having a human I can give something to, not only literally give life to, but give them the ability to live a better life. And in a big sense, all mentorship should be that way. Mentorship starts with your own children and it extends to other people's children who don't have the capacity, the time, the resources, or the knowledge to be able to really uplift and raise their own kids. And in a sense, it's a form of adoption. Mentorship, true mentorship, is adopting someone else's child for a short time or for a longer time and giving them everything that you can give them from your heart to truly help them grow. Do you see the energy change as well?
Yeah, yeah. So it's like, I don't know how to explain it, but you like became more sincere.
Like, you can't explain it. It's not science. It's totally shamanic in nature, and it's totally real. You can only experience it and see it. I'm gonna get a little biblical with you, but it's almost like, again, I'm not stating this as fact as it is written in the Bible. I'm not saying this actually happened or did not happen. I'm just saying this is the thing, and it basically talks about when the nation of Israel, the Jews, were given the Bible, the Torah. It says that God took the entire mountain that they were standing on and flipped it over them like a barrel and said, either you accept this now or I'm gonna kill you here on the spot. And they're like, okay, we already committed to this prior. We're not gonna back out now. So I would imagine the entire concept of receiving the Ten Commandments, you know, 5 massive volumes of law and how to live your life and all this and all of that. Imagine that whole experience is something you can write about, but if something like that occurred or happened, it's not something I can really give over to you. You kind of had to be there to experience that sort of thing, to experience this near-death experience to kind of push you into a certain faith. And that's people who almost die in a car crash or escape death. They become very faithful. They realize that their life is so limited and they have to do more. It's one of those things that can talk to you about the experiences you have in different dimensions, but you have to experience it. That's where science stops and the supernatural begins. It's the things that we can't quantify even with words. It's something you have to experience and it's something as small as just being sincere or talking from the heart, or even understanding that there is an option to talk from the heart, right? That's my natural thing. That's straight back to the head. So there's a third one. The third one is from the root. There's a very famous speaker and former president that exclusively talks from the root, and I learned how to do that as well. So if I want to command an audience or command a room or get people's attention, and I want to be conscious about this or even make it my habit, I can do, talk from the root. Barack Obama is an excellent example. Now, if I talk from the root, you can turn your camera on. You might get freaked out a little bit. So, bear with me here.
Here we go.
We have an objective to get 5,000 students by Q1 2026. You need to change the way you think about acquiring users. It has to be intentional, specific. You have to track the metrics, you have to output the data, and you have to understand that every single thing you do counts towards another student. If you take the wrong actions, students will not register. If you focus on measured, timely actions and everything you do is focused on acquiring more users, you will see success. And the choice becomes yours. Will you focus on actions that bring the company more students, or will you fail to achieve your chosen objective? That's crazy. Manning is powerful. And we're, we're like thousands of miles away. Like, this isn't even half of what you can get if you're in person. This is why speakers, they don't just livestream their personal life.
Yeah. So yeah, like watch a couple of the, a couple of Obama's speeches and he does speak like this, like, dear America, something like that.
Captures your attention right away. Your brain registers this as this is something important to listen to. Whereas most other speakers are kind of just talking under their breath in comparison to that. They're kind of just mumbling, even if they're talking right now like this. This is the equivalent of mumbling because your brain is filtering out 70 to 80% of the things I'm saying is not important because of the speed, the tonality, etc. And unless you're a crazy VC who is like, I'm looking for guys to talk very, very fast because it shows that they're very smart and they can't keep up with their own thoughts. That's what they look for. They're like, that means the guy's very smart and he's brilliant. It's not effective, but these guys have a formula and they think if you talk very fast, then it means that you must be very smart. That's so stupid.
I mean, yeah, I mean, you look at like, there have been charismatic smart guys founders, right? You look at Steve Jobs, like prime example, amazing charismatic, like the most charismatic founder I know, right?
Steve Jobs. Or that you don't know, because everyone that works with him thinks he was a colossal asshole. And then you read his book, he was a colossal asshole. So. My dad's like that, actually. He's crazy charismatic. Like, I don't know how he goes anywhere. He can't go anywhere without flirting with like every fucking woman, making her fall in love, and just like doesn't fucking follow up or do anything. He's like incredibly loyal to my mom, but like at the same time he's super fucking charismatic. Like to the point where it's like cringe. It's cringe. Cringe. So I think this is what, yeah, so this is like what COE does. That's what we do. We help you figure out what you really, really want and how to get it. That's it. And how we articulate that message, it makes a big fucking difference.
