Foxtails Brigade performs "Don't Look Down," a dark song with imagery of rattlesnakes and church bells. Jack Conte introduces the band and mentions they recorded four songs that day at the Farmhouse Sessions.
Chapters
Joseph Timwin, orphaned and wise, took shortcuts to his demise. Footsteps treading on only the cracks, left fat shapes of cloven tracks. Innocent, innocent ground. Miseria, miseria, bow. Penitence, penitence, frown. Vera and Mark, all dressed in white, never step without the light. Hatless rattlesnakes inside their caves, preying on the souls of slaves. Innocent, innocent, frown. Misereia, misereia bound. Penitents, penitents, sound the church bells. Birth the flowers, call upon the darkest hours. For repenters' penance-workings strike the pure and undeserving. So for serving lives all intertwined, we came to commit their crimes. Just sold a ton of dolls, they're bitter me. Stand right, pearly canine teeth. Innocent, innocent, groan. Miseria, miseria, bow. Penitents, penitents, sound the church bells. Burn the flowers, call upon the dark established. Stole the toddlers, penance for things. Strike the poor and undeserving. Don't look down. Don't look down. Don't look down. Innocent, innocent ground. Miseria, miseria bound. Penitents, penitents, sound the church bells. Burn the flowers, call upon the doctor's staff. Restore the tattlers, pass on certain streaks. The pure and undeserving. Innocent, innocent ground. Miseria, miseria bound. Penitents, penitents, sound the church bells. Burn the flowers, call upon the doctor's staff. Stole the toddlers, passed on certain streaks. The pure and undeserving.
