This is a short YouTube monologue (a #shorts) by Jacqueline Elliott reflecting on marriage and the importance of avoiding a one-dimensional life. The speaker describes how becoming multi-dimensional—being present in both work and family life—helped her and her spouse grow in business and family relationships after 15 years of marriage.

Andy mentioned something earlier on about being one dimensional. We've been married for 15 years. We've been together for 17 years. So we've had a lot of ups and down in our marriage. And I think that after we realized that we were capable of having it all and not being one dimensional, we were able to go a lot further in business, in family, in everything. By being one dimensional, I mean, like, sometimes you might be thinking about and being where your feet are, you might be thinking about work when you're at home and you're like, man, I didn't get that sale. Or you're thinking about how what you should do differently when you're at work or basically on your phone while your kids are playing and you're not having intentional time with your family or, you know, you're at work thinking about, man, I wish I was with my family.
