Jacqueline Elliott sketched their house design on a napkin without being an architect, specifying a U-shaped layout with a central pool. They found someone to scale it up, built the house while sleeping on mattresses and growing their business, and now see it as a landmark of everything they sacrificed to get there.

I drew this house on a napkin. Like, I'm, I'm not an engineer, I'm not an architect. I don't know anything about this, but I know what I like. So I drew it on a napkin. I said, I want a U shaped house, I want the pool in the middle, you know, all this different stuff. So I drew that out and I just basically, you know, found an architect and I said, scale this now. I didn't know how much it was going to cost us to build. I didn't know what it was going to take as far as anything. I just like, okay, this is what we want. This place is truly special to us because it took a lot of sacrifice, a lot of different things to get here. And I know it's just a house and you know, we don't get attached to things. Like we, we're not materialistic at all, but you know, the sacrifice and things. When I walk through this house, like, I'm like, okay, I still can't believe I live here. Because when we were doing this and we were thinking about it, we were sleeping on mattresses and we were trying to build our business and we were trying to do so much. So more than that, it's a landmark to us. So we're happy that you're here and we're happy to share it with you. And the reason why we we're having it here is because of that.
