Or even be in a relationship. Like, I was the one that was constant. Like, if it's not, it's my way or the highway. If you're good for me, you're good. And I'm not going to deal with anybody's bullshit. That was me. And he was the same way, too, because he was off of, like, I'm the man, you know, I need to know. Like, in. It was like we would just. Just explode.
I found out.
That the problem. The problem was me. The problem was me, because I didn't.
Have any tolerance, because I saw all.
The pain that my parents went through.
I saw all.
The pain that I went through as a kid, you know, in all the. All the fears.
That I. I didn't.
Want to feel like I was ever vulnerable as a woman or even a person, you know, just being with somebody. I didn't want to feel controlled. So that was really, really hard for me to understand. But then finally, like, I was like, if we're really going to do this, like, I'm the problem. I'm the one that needs to understand that we're going to grow together and we're going to disagree. But it doesn't mean that he has.
A bad heart or I have a bad heart.
So we just basically melted our hearts and we decided, you know, hey, we're going to get together and grow this thing.
