Ignore my face and focus on my words 👀

Sometimes we hold on to like the facial expression or the emotions, the tone of voice and you're not really listening to the words. So if you're like when you get into an argument or fight, you know, also like I started looking at my face because I have a pretty expressive face. Like if I'm pissed, you can tell. Yes. And it doesn't matter what I say. And if I have validation in my words, like you look at my face. So we had to set up that ground rule too. Like, listen, I know my face is shitty and I know that my face is going to look like I'm mad, which I probably am. But please just focus on what I'm saying and try to understand that there's emotions involved and just get on with the words. Focus on the words and not really the face. So we had to, we both had to learn different things to make sure that we did understand each other.
