If you have talented people on your team but don't develop them, they'll get bored and leave. Competitors who are actively growing will hire them away, and you'll lose the people who could have run your business.

One thing that I do know is if you have leaders, people that have leadership abilities in your team and you don't act on them, they will eventually leave. They felt like they can grow and you were pushing them, but if they can't use their abilities, they will outgrow you and they'll stay stagnant and they don't feel like they're making a difference. They'll lose their purpose and they will— don't even— they won't even remember why they're there.
Yeah. Look, if you stop growing, they're going to leave you and they're gonna come join someone else. There is someone in your marketplace right now that is hungry as hell, that's a competitor of yours, and that is growing, and they want your people. And if you slow down, they're going to get every freaking one of them.
