Chapters

Spoiling your children, by the way, is a blessing. I mean, it's a really good thing to spoil your children. But I went through this with Andy. He used to take Kira to go get her a Barbie every time she stubbed her toe. And I said, hey, you can't do that. You have to make her strong. What's going to happen to her when she has her first heartbreak? Is she going to crumble or is she going to feel powerful? Is she going to want to go and be like, hey, I am valuable. I can achieve it all? The biggest mistake I think that a lot of us try to do when we achieve a level of success is that we try to give our kids a life we didn't have, and we don't let them make mistakes. That's the biggest blessing that you have. Show your children that messing up is a part of life.
