Jacqueline Elliott on how choices in your 20s compound into millions of dollars lost and physical damage by your 30s. Surrounding yourself with the right mentors and information sources matters more than you think.
I literally wrote on the thing cost of my future decisions on my mirror. And I wrote 30 million bucks. I was listening to the wrong people about money, and I was watching them go buy all this that didn't suit their life. And that is a cost of a future decision. The cost of being unhealthy versus then having to be 35 years old. If you're 23 and you're eating cheeseburgers and you do that for the next 10 years. Well, now you're 35 and you have to unscrew all of those years, and your body can't ever really catch up to that, no matter really what you want to do. Everything has a future cost.
On the flip side, you know, now with all the resources that are available, everything is at your fingers now. Like, you can surround yourself with good people and your mentors. You can actually get to know them now.
There's a lot of information out there. There's almost too much information. So now you just need to decide who you're going to listen to and how you're going to receive it.
