A first-person monologue (YouTube video) where the speaker reflects on building a team without a pre-existing blueprint. The speaker describes borrowing behaviors and lessons from many role models (explicitly mentioning a David Goggins-like ‘go for it’ mentality), rejecting elements that didn’t fit, learning from mistakes, and deliberately shaping team members through training so they become a product of that process.

But, you know, like, that mentality of going for it and just beating the quitting mind. So we picked up all these different things from so many different people and just making those mistakes that now I think that we've kind of developed what we have with our team, that we've made them a product of our training, and now you guys are here.
