Trying to please people that don't even matter. Is your boss gonna be there for you 50 years from now when you get sick? Are they gonna check in on you when you're in the hospital? When you get that bad exam about something that's wrong with you inside? Are they still gonna be with you? Your buddies that are there, that you hang out with? Who's gonna be taking care of you? Who's going to be there? That's just it. Sometimes we don't think about that. We get comfortable with our other person that we know. You tried so hard, so hard, and now you're here. And then you take each other for granted. You're fighting and hurting the people you love the most. We're living a double standard.
