Jake Burhans walks through a real-estate deal in Exeter, New Hampshire where the seller financed the sale instead of getting paid upfront. The seller became the bank, collecting payments over time while the buyer avoided needing all the cash at once.
So we would be down way lower than where you need to be. The other way we buy properties is on payments, right? So we had another seller, we have another seller down here in Exeter, New Hampshire. Similar situation. He, it's a second property for him, but the thing that was different is he didn't need all the money up front. So we worked out an arrangement where we upgraded him essentially from landlord to lender on the deal. He became the bank. We made him payments over time. We gave him his purchase price.
