Jake Burhans argues that a 7-figure business won't fix an unhealthy internal operating system. I got to a point where I was like, you know, we are, it doesn't matter how much money the business does. There's obviously way bigger businesses, but you know, you build a 7-figure business, you think it's gonna like do something to you, it doesn't. Doesn't do anything. It's like if your internal operating system is still a disaster, you're still gonna hate your life. So it got to a point, me, where I was just like, I'd rather not do this business at all than continue to operate like this. I'm just gonna be at peace and I'm gonna do this inner work and I'm gonna come up with a new operating system. Now I just wanna put that out there 'cause no one teaches this stuff. I mean, people do teach it, but it's just like, it's not out there enough to tell people how do you operate internally with things? How do you deal with your thoughts and your emotions so that you can be regulated so you can have the results that you want and it doesn't cost you your peace of mind? Because success should not cost you your peace of mind. Like, you should be building your business from a place of inspiration, not desperation. That is a never-ending rabbit hole and you will never win that battle because One of the fundamental things of reality is that we chase, we spend our entire lives chasing things in our external environment to try to make us feel okay on the inside. And guess what that stuff in the external doesn't do? Make us feel okay on the inside. So it just takes people different amounts of time to realize that truth. And once they do realize that truth, then that's when they can really start living life.
