Chapters
Books that have helped me live my life from peace instead of pressure, part 1. The first pillar of living a peaceful life is awareness. This pillar is all about identifying your thoughts, habits, and belief patterns. Here are my top 5 books. So the first 3 come from the great Mr. Michael Singer. First book is The Untethered Soul. This book was the most foundational book in helping me understand that I am not my thoughts or emotions, and I could separate from that stuff and I could let it go. Absolutely profound. Second up is his second book, The Surrender Experiment. In this book, he details his 40-year experience surrendering to the flow of life's events. Absolutely wild. He started as a yogi in the woods, built a billion-dollar company, had this massive lawsuit in the end, all worked out. Definitely check that one out. Number 3, Living Untethered. This is his most recent book, uh, and most up to date on his teachings. That's arguably one of my favorite. Again, talking about thoughts, identities, awareness, letting go, and how to really live from peace instead of pressure. Number 4, Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. This is a tiny little book, really foundational. I think this was like the first book I ever read, but it talks about a Jewish prisoner in a Nazi camp and how he separated himself from his thoughts and emotions, right? He basically came up with the idea that there was a space between stimulus and response, and he could choose how he responded. So it details how he was able to survive in the camp by separating himself from his thoughts and emotions. And then number 5, the infamous Think and Grow Rich. Just a phenomenal foundational book on how to think so you could be successful. If you don't know the book, he interviewed— I don't know what it was, 100 men, 500 successful men— Napoleon Hill did, the author, and asked them why they were successful, put it all in a book. All has to do with mindset and awareness. Follow for more on how to build your life from peace instead of pressure.
