Jake Burhans shows how to reprogram limiting beliefs about time by acting against them. After the gym, he thought he couldn't visit both Publix and Whole Foods, but went anyway and finished with time to spare. The same method works for beliefs about money, self-worth, or business.

I actually do have enough time. I'm speaking too fast. So in order for me to reprogram that belief, which I am going to, is I need to start acting in accordance with someone who believes that we have plenty of time all the time. Meaning I should never make a decision based upon not having enough time. Like for example, after the gym, I had to go to two grocery stores. I had to go to Publix to get some water and I had to go to Whole Foods to do my regular grocery shopping. My initial subconscious program was what? Oh, I don't have enough time to go to Publix. 'cause I gotta get back and I gotta do this and I gotta do that. So I just need to go right to Whole Foods. I'll get water another time. But then I was like, ah, no, I can't do that. I had to be the awareness. So I was the awareness. I said, oh, that's the old program running. I actually do have enough time. I have as much time as I want. There's, look, all I have is time. So what do I do? I go to Publix, I get the water, I go to Whole Foods. I get back with plenty of freaking time. So much time before I even had to do my next thing. I'm like, look at that. But that starts to break the pattern. So every time that you can be aware of that, that program that you're running, and it's not just about time, it's about money, or that you're not cut out for this, or you can't be successful, you can't run the business, whatever, whatever you want to believe. But that's, that's, that's what the whole Break Limiting Beliefs part of the Built for Impact program is about, breaking limiting beliefs, right? It's understanding that you are the awareness that observes your thoughts and emotions so you can separate from them. And you can choose the ones that empower you.
