If I were to start over and shift one thing 5 years ago, it would be a mindset thing, and it would be shifting from making money to building skills. Because when I focus on building skills, I'm tying my efforts to the process, not the outcome. And this allows me to endure, to stay committed over a long period of time, to be satisfied with the results in my skill development versus focusing on the money, which may not come for 6, 7, 8 months when you're getting started in wholesale or any entrepreneurial venture for that matter.
