I heard this quote 2 years ago and it completely changed how I view my goals and my vision and how I pursue those things. It came from a video called The Strangest Secret with Earl Nightingale. If you haven't looked that up, check that out, really good video. But he said, in regard to success, success is the pursuit of a worthy ideal. And this is why this is so important. We oftentimes put so much stress and pressure, anxiety on ourselves to get somewhere. We think success is the end destination, but it's not. Success is getting up and pursuing a worthy ideal. Like, if you get up and you're pursuing something, whatever it may be, you are a winner in that moment. And when you can just focus on the process and detach from the outcomes like that, you end up getting to the outcome faster, and you get there without all the stress and the pressure and the anxiety.
