Jake Burhans explains how podcasts let you build your own mentorship by choosing who to listen to. He follows Alex Hormozi for business and sales, Leila Hormozi for hiring and management, and a mentor named Isaiah. You don't need someone in the room to learn from them.

Have you had any role models like that got you to this point? Yeah, a variety, variety of role models. I think the cool thing about podcasts and things like that is that you can kind of pick your mentors, whoever you just decide to listen to. You can pick a mentor like Isaiah and I both love following Alex Hormozi. It's probably a lot of people know from the business side of things, not necessarily real estate, but just like business. And Leila Hormozi as well. Leila's more with the people and hiring and management. And Alex is more, he's more like sales and acquisitions. Yeah, kind of visionary stuff. The front runner. Yeah, the front runner. But yeah, both of them, we listen to them religiously. Podcasts, I'd say from a business perspective, that's the biggest one.
