Jameson Camp argues optimists get rich while pessimists sound smart. His logic: if nuclear war happens, everyone loses anyway. If it doesn't, those who bought the dip or kept building win. Pessimists who sold will regret it.

Optimists get rich and pessimists sound smart. This is one of the quotes I try and live by, and today is a good example of why. So last night we saw that, uh, Israel attacked Iran and the markets are reacting to that, right? So everyone's sort of worried. You have people who sell because they're worried about war. But I want you to look at this. Here's a good matrix to understand the realities, right? So let's say nuclear war does come. You're dead. You're dead. That's the only option. Doesn't matter. Everything's screwed. Let's say nuclear war doesn't come. Okay, nuclear war doesn't come, then if you bought at the dip or if you continued on with your business, in my scenario, you're doing well. And if you didn't, then you're doing poorly. So the only option is to be an optimist, is to be a buyer, is to be a builder, is to keep things going. This is talking about specifically when it comes to war, but forget war, in general, optimists get rich and pessimists sound smart. So make sure you're being an optimist.
