Hey, you guys. Welcome to my very first video breakdown for nano-flips or website flipping. What we're gonna look at here today is just a really simple site I found on Flippa, and we're gonna go through a basic breakdown of ways that it could be improved that anyone could do that would make it worth more money that you would then be able to sell it for a massive multiple later. Website flipping is a great way for you to get involved in investing in assets and selling them for more money, right? Having complete control for yourself and sort of making an income on the side or a full-time income from your home. Sort of the new digital frontier. Everyone's flipping houses. Well, let's get people into flipping websites. So without further ado, let me break down what we have here today. On Flippa, we have a website. It's called Rock Auto Discounts. Right now it's selling for about $10,000, as we can see. A couple of the nice things to look for here are that the seller has, you know, 100% positive feedback across 22,000 transactions. The website's got good traffic from, you know, and it's very stable and strong. It's 3 years old, all things we like. A nice domain rank, authority score, beautiful, above 40. That's really, really good. As we keep going down, we're gonna sort of, in our quick high-level due diligence, we're checking to see how, what does this do. I bought this site on Flippa 1 year ago. So this person bought this site. I'm assuming they've come onto some hard times. They have done a little bit of growth, but nothing really insane. How does this business make money? AdSense, major win here for us. And by the way, everyone, in the nanoflips.com newsletter, I will break down exactly how this site can be improved and the details of how we might expect for it to be improved. Just go to nanoflips.com and sign up if you have not before. But anyway, it's— so now let's take a look at the actual website itself. Again, the URL for the site's gonna be rockautodiscount.com. So I have it up here. As you can see, pretty ugly, pretty old. Oddly enough, I think sometimes people look at things like this and they feel that it needs to have a beautiful, sexy, slick overhaul, and that's actually not true. I'm not saying there aren't improvements that can be made on it visually, I'm just saying that If you're looking to derive ad revenue from clicks onto ads, or sometimes ugly works well. If you want a good example of that, go check out Craigslist. Craigslist is obviously really, really massive, one of the biggest websites in the world. It's quite clearly on purpose that Craigslist looks like that, right? It's supposed to be functional. It's not supposed to be slick and sexy. They make tons and tons of money. They could have the slickest, Web 3.0 looking website in the world, but they don't on purpose. So anyway, the one thing, the first thing we wanna notice here is like they said, they are running only AdSense. Now, candidly, it's not getting enough traffic to go to one of the super premium ad networks right now. I think that the plan can be to do that. That's really simple in the long run with enough traffic. This niche definitely fits into like an AdThrive or Mediavine or anything really. But I think right off the bat at that amount of page views, let me check again, we're just under, I believe, what we need to be on Ezoic, which is a good one. So with that said, that's gonna be something that you gain more traffic to, and from the extra traffic, you'll be able to qualify for Ezoic. And if you change the ads from AdSense to Ezoic, I would say it's safe to bet we're gonna gain between like 10% and 50% more revenue just based on traffic staying the same. The other thing that is very clear to me is that we are looking at discounts for Nissan Auto Parts. You know, that is a major thing here. Parts rebate sweepstakes. So my point is I think there's a great opportunity for an affiliate program for auto parts. Car insurance, things like that, the thing I go to quickly is gonna be like an OfferVault. And so I don't think they've got auto parts ones. I'm quite sure we could find an auto parts affiliate program, but let's just see. So here's some live phone call things, but not really that, but you could definitely go auto insurance., right? All these are gonna be paying— this is per call, right? This is per quote, CPA, cost per acquisition, basically cost per action, basically like $60 you're getting paid from when someone signs up. This is $30, $30 for every phone call that you get for someone looking for car insurance. So what you would do here is you'd sign up for this offer,, right? You basically get a phone number and you'd have a different part on RockAuto Discounts that talked about car insurance. Maybe you're replacing some of these banner ads. That's a little bit more complex, a lot of testing there. But it might be with, for car insurance quotes, call this, when the person, when a visitor calls that phone number, you're gonna, and stays on the line over X amount of time, you're gonna get paid that $60. I mean, so if we're just back of the envelope math on that really quickly, they're getting 5,000 uniques a month. If we did, you know, let's— 5,000 uniques a month, and let's say you could get 1 in 500 of them to sign up, to actually make that phone call and get the conversion. So it's gonna be, what, 1 in 100? So 1 times 0.2%. So you're gonna get 10 phone calls. So 10 phone calls there at $60 is $600 a month, okay? $600 out of the month. Realistically, I don't know if $60 is a very high payout for that. I mean, let's look at another one that's more average so we're not sort of looking at crazy numbers. I mean, even $15, let's say $15, right? I saw a $15 one here, right? Whatever, $15, that's simple. At $15 a month, you know, it's an extra $150 you will have just added $150 a month in revenue, and on average, you know, let's say you get 33x a monthly net, that's how websites are valued, times 33, you're gonna add $495, sorry, $4,950 in value to this website when you sell it. Now, candidly, you guys, there's a lot of other things we can do. There's a lot of other key research, growth, email list growth, all this stuff, Saving that for nanoflips.com for those who sign up for the newsletter. Again, in the newsletter, we'll break down exactly how this works 100%, but I think this is a good example. We would also then go here and say, where are the low-hanging fruit in terms of keywords? What could we rank? What couldn't we rank? Is there an opportunity to add a marketplace to this for people buying and selling different auto parts? This, this website's done well. We can grow it more, that is for sure. The other major thing here is going to be that if we look at here the 44 authority score, this DA, this domain authority, I would bet that we could also sell, as long as we're adding new content regularly, we could also sell— let's keep it low, let's say $25. I think it's probably more in the $50 to $150 range. I don't know this niche really well. But let's just keep it simple and say you could sell advertorials to people for $25 a post. You sell 1 a week, that adds another $100 a week to the business, which is $400 a month, or I can run that math for you. So $400 a month times 33 is gonna add another— wait, $400 a month times 33, Sorry, $100 a month, that's why, is $3,300 on the sale value here. So it's like a quick breakdown. We're buying this website. I think it's pretty fairly priced. I think it might go for a little more than $10,000, honestly. I think you're probably, you know, I think it's probably fair to pay. I mean, where's the revenue coming from other than AdSense? Let's see. It just says AdSense. Either way, so let's look at this like this. So it's making, $426 a month right now, right? So it's making $426. We're also gonna add another $100 a month, right, from the sponsored posts. And we're also gonna add another $150 a month, I think more also, from the pay-per-lead stuff that I think we could add in there. So now we're at $676 a month, okay? So over the next 12 months, as you do this, you're gonna, first of all, you're gonna make back, you put up $10,000, you're gonna make back 70% of it, right? Whatever, you've all, but on the sale, let's say you decide to sell it at the end, you now have a website that's worth like $23,000, right? Because you have improved it so much. So anyway, you guys, in the nanoflips.com newsletter, if you've seen this there, there's a much longer, more exhaustive breakdown. If you haven't, Go to nanoflips.com, sign up. I break down exactly how to flip websites, how to improve them in just like this video, but with a lot more detail with exactly how to do it, exactly how to make the money. And I hope you guys enjoyed this. Thanks.
