They want to make a lot of money. Should they go into banking, you think? Is it good money? Like $100K, $200K? Okay, so I'm not knocking $100K or $200K a year. That is fantastic money and everyone should strive to get there. But the reality is that people can make way, way, way more money and many, many people I know do. But that happens through equity and ownership. If $200K to $300K or $400K is really where you want to cap out, then salary and banking is a great and fantastic industry for you to get into. But if you want to make way more than that and you want to have ownership equity in a business is the only way to get there. And I generally mean that. Yes, there are some C-suite executives that pull $1, $2 million, $10 million a year, of course. But you ever see a billionaire off a salary? It does not happen. And if you want to make a million dollars, you're infinitely more likely to make it in ownership of a business than you are from the salary from working for somebody else's business.
