This was 25 years ago when I was learning this work. This was salient for me and I used this exact conversation. I was traveling, my children were little and my husband was minding them. I'm at the airport coming home, but I'm nervous and anxious to come home to see my children. I'm talking to my husband. He says, I, I read a good parenting article. I said, oh, really? I thought you're telling me about parenting him. Yeah, it was well written by educational psychologists. Huh. And what degrees do I have and where did I go to school?
