I was made into a meme. Here are the 8 craziest things that happened to me on Twitter. Number 8: Marc Andreessen followed me because of a shitpost. No, it wasn't a smart thread or any deep research I've done. It was because of a shitpost about Twitter being down. Thank you, Marc Andreessen. Number 7: I flew across the country to San Francisco to stay with a friend I met on Twitter that I'd never met in person. Yeah, so I stayed with a friend who runs a startup, has a VC fund, and it turned out I survived. My fiancée was very, very worried, as was my mother, who was calling me constantly. Instantly, but I survived, I made it, I made some internet friends. Number 6, I quit my data engineering job to get paid to write tweets. So I used to be a data engineer, I was a nerd writing some really bad code, but fortunately I grew my Twitter on the side and now I get paid to write tweets. So now I'm just a nerd writing really bad tweets. Number 5, I got a reply from Grimes. She is my celebrity crush, I'm coming for you Elon, I'm sorry. I posted a picture of me at an event with a picture of Grimes behind me and she replied, very proud. Number 4, Andrew Huberman followed me because of a meme. Again, it wasn't because of any smart health thread, which I've written plenty of, but it was because of a very funny shitpost. So it really leads me to think these guys who are super successful just love funny memes. Now onto the top 3. Number 3, I once wrote a tweet that was such a banger, an 8-figure entrepreneur called me immediately after liking it. That's right, it was a tweet about a conversation I had with one of his friends, and it wasn't anything too insulting, but when he saw it, he called me immediately and we talked for 45 minutes. Number 2, I threw a ping pong party for 100+ people in startups in VC. So about 2 years ago, I knew no one, and then I jumped on Twitter, and somehow my network got bigger just from making internet friends. When I moved to New York, I threw a party for 100+ people where we all played ping pong, talked, and hung out. Pretty cool. Number 1, I got turned into a meme. While I was over in Paris, I posted a picture of myself in front of a restaurant with a cringe thread, so they say. But I got a lot of hate, it got 6.7 million views, I got some followers, Sold some books and had a good day. Cringe is the new cool.
