A comedian lists everything Signal is definitely not used for: drug deals, extortion, crypto scams, SBF conspiracies, journalists' final messages before assassination. It's a joke about how privacy apps get blamed for every crime while marketing themselves as tools for deep conversations.
Do you want to have really deep conversations with your bros that no one can ever see? This is the encrypted app for you. It's definitely not used for drugs either. It's definitely not where politicians extort people, that's for sure. It's definitely not where journalists send their last message before getting assassinated. It's definitely not where every crypto scam was planned. It's definitely not where SBF talked with his co-conspirators. It's definitely not where your grandpa buys weed. This is Signal. Signal is for everyone, definitely not just shady people.
