memes and schemes stream

Jason Levin demos Memelord, his AI meme-creation platform with face-swap, clothing-swap, and semantic search. He riffs on VC culture, payroll SaaS profitability, and his own investments in Fondo and Prompt Player while taking questions from chat.

Don't know if this thing's on. Oh, it's on. Sick.
All right, surprise stream, motherfuckers. Let's go, time to meme and scheme, baby.
Oh, wrong. Let's go. Knock knock. All right, let's see. I'm excited. Are we in the right place?
All right, I did not tell my team I was streaming, but it's all good.
We're gonna have some fun. All right, let's see.
Anybody here?
Oh, nice.
What's good? I think I can interact in chat.
I'm not sure.
All right. So we're going to make some memes for the week. Going to knock out some memes.
All right.
There we go. I need some music.
All right.
When CEO says he doesn't allow. Oh, actually, you know what? I saw some— like, I saw some VC post about how, like, founders have to be all serious.
I was like, fucking loser, dude.
If you can't— if you're a VC and you're not okay with your founders posting memes, then you're not okay with them making millions. Like, you shouldn't— if you can't handle them at their shitposting, You cannot handle them when they're making memes. You can't handle them when they're making the millions. That feels very fair. Like, you have to have both. You get the shitposting side of the founders and you get their millions. You can't just have one or the other. It's bullshit.
I find it— it's fuck that shit.
All right. You know what? I feel like this meme would look better if I face swapped myself on because, like, you know, I am secretly just an Asian woman. At the end of the day, aren't we all? You know, you know what I'm saying? Um, I have no idea if anybody's here, and I have no idea how to check the comments. I'll figure it out, I'll figure it out. All right, we're gonna face swap myself onto this. I'm gonna show you guys how to do this. So it's super fun. As you know, I've been face swapping like a madman, uh, because it's kind of addicting. And, uh, yeah, it's, it's really sick.
So Let's do this thing. All right, let's see.
Oh shit.
Uh, all right, swap.
And how do we respond to comments? Anybody know how to respond to comments? Like DM me if you know how to do this because I can't. Oh yo, that's wild. That is terrifying. Oh my God, I'm gonna send that to my wife. Uh, the ability to make yourself laugh is the most important, guys. I've been through some hard shit in my life, and that is why I can always make myself laugh, because I've been in some dark-ass places. And when nobody else is there to make you laugh, there's only one person you could rely on to make you laugh, you know what I'm saying? All right, so we got this meme done. We'll, we'll post that banger, uh, but we gotta— got a nice little— oh, I like this one. Kitten versus tiger.
All right, all right, let's, let's figure this bad boy out. All right.
What are we thinking? We're thinking angel investor, devil investor. I'm telling you, that's what I am. I invested in a couple startups, guys, which is kind of crazy to think about. I invested in Fondo. Shout out Fondo, David Phillips, whole gang, me, lords. And I invested in Prompt Player. Shout out Jared. And I'm gonna send this to them. This is gonna be my only response to updates, like to project updates or whatever, quarterly updates. I'm just gonna respond with this, which is more than most VCs do. They don't actually respond to anything. So as you guys can see, I'm using my software, Memelord Technologies, and I am having quite a lot of fun.
All right. Let's—
oh dude, golden trash bag! I haven't even seen this. That's the crazy part. My team is so good and our, our AI is so cracked that we're just adding memes all the time that I don't even know about. Um, oh, this is like the one, one YC startup that isn't slop.
All right, let's—
you can't really see that.
Let's add a little bit of Fold. There we go.
I like doing that little drag. Nobody knows you could do that except for me.
I got like secret hacks.
Uh, YC, what is it?
Uh, SW25. I don't fucking know. YC W25. YC. This is so much fun.
There we go.
Ah, oh, this is so good.
All right, uh, maybe I'll start a thread. Let me start a thread underneath, uh, these, these memes right here. Uh, it's fun hating on YC, man. They are the most profitable slot machine of all time. Um, like, good for them, you know what I'm saying? Like, they, they really are, uh, the most profitable slot machine. Of all time. But you got to admit that there's a lot of slop coming out of there. Like, they, they've successfully perfected the slot machine, but it is still a slot machine for the pigs to go to slaughter because most of them ain't coming out alive. Most of them are coming out broke, you know what I'm saying?
So, you know, it's—
that's why I didn't raise money. VCs wanted to invest.
I was like, nah, I did not want to raise money because I like doing my own thing and I don't, you know, I'm happy making millions.
I don't need to make billions, although billions would be nice. I feel like that's not too much to ask for. I'm a simple man who wants to make memes and make billions. You know, I'm just a simple man. I'm a simple man who wants to be a tech entrepreneur, comedian, and millionaire. You know, it's not that much to ask for, guys. All right. Does anybody know how to fucking respond to comments?
Because I don't.
Oh wait, here's the chat.
Oh hey, I found it. I fucking found it.
So you guys, you could just figure things out.
Yes, exactly.
Slot Machine. Dude, I love Khan Concept and Strawberry. I love my anons. I love them. I have no idea who you guys are, but you guys crack me up. It's really funny. My wife and I will like have discussions about different anons and we're like, we don't know who these people are, but they are in our lives. Like they are part of like, like like Squiggidy. Shout out Squiggidy if you're watching this, we love you. Like, there's this Twitter guy named Squiggidy. He, like, we just talk about him like he is— I mean, he is a real person, like, you know.
Um, dude, uh, you know, uh, let's see, let's see.
Squiggles, Squiggles.
Yeah, yeah, Squiggle.
Oh, here we go. I should, uh, I should—
where is it?
I should join.
I should start a fund.
I should start a fund. Uh, we should say, dude, this is every conversation in New York is like, I should start a fund. And then you're like with your friends and you're like, no, we should start a fund. You know what I'm saying? We should start a fund. You go out and you're like, yo guys, we should start a fund together. Like that is, that's just the average conversation in New York. You know what I'm saying? It's, it's, it's a very normal conversation. Probably Silicon Valley too. Maybe that's just my friend group. Maybe I just have weird friends. I don't know. We're just like, yo guys, we should start a fund together. Like, that's our idea of like a good time. It's like, yo guys, like, let's just fucking start a fund together. I do think you can't spell fund without fun. Fun. There we go. You know what I'm saying? Oh, I feel like this needs a little Let's do a little AI background removal on this thing. Oh, actually, you know what, I am going to, uh, I'm going to put my face on Rick Rubin real quick. Let me do that. Also, I'm gonna premiere a couple features for you guys, um, which I'm really excited about, so get stoked once we have 699 1,000 people in this live stream. Um, I'm gonna premiere a couple new features, which I'm, I'm really, really excited about. Uh, while this is loading, one day we will meet. Yes, dude, we are going to meet. What is it called? Vibe memeing. This is vibe memeing. I'll actually show you. So Robert, that's a great question. And, um, I integrated AI in a few different ways. So this is vibe memeing right, right here. This is vibe Damn, that is a good face swap and a little scary. It might be just because Rick Rubin's also just like a Jewish dude, so, uh, I think that might be why it just fits, you know.
We kind of—
he's just me in like 60 years, you know. Um, anyways, so vibe memeing is you got an idea, right? So let's say you got a caption. We integrated Grok right here. So let's say you want to, want to do a caption about coding naked. We've all been there, okay? Uh, late night coding session. Uh, even better is when, when I don't have this voice set up, I actually talk to my computer and I tell it what memes I want to make. So I'll like talk in there and then I could actually search in here. My keyboard's more— had more action than I've had in a decade. So we integrated Grok because it's like the most unhinged, hilarious, um, coding is better. Let's say like startups are better than girls. Better than, better than, better than love. Yeah.
Yeah.
Let's do that. Also, it's actually pretty good. It's pretty good. So this is, this is Vibe memeing right now. Vibe memeing is pretty exciting. Josh, you have no idea. This is memelord.tech, bro. So that is what you are witnessing is memelord.tech. So this is my software and I just face swapped myself on there. So that is a good question. You could start for free, you know. Dude, I saw a really funny tweet. Holy shit. They were like, it's crazy how Kim is the good parent. I was like, oh my God, it's so true. Like she is showing her ass with a robot and she is better than Kanye as a parent, which is just crazy to think about. It's hilarious. All right, this meme is so much fun. I love it because you could face swap yourself. So I think I— yeah, yeah. So that's me as that. But let's— you know what, maybe we should put Rick Rubin on here. I feel like that might be kind of sick. So let's try that real quick. Let's see what happens. Or actually, you know what, let's put this guy, the mad scientist guy. I don't know if you guys have been seeing him all over the timeline. Been popping off. Uh, he went to prison for 3 years, but I guess he's on like some sort of renewal arc or something. I'm not really sure. All right, so we're gonna put the mad scientist on, uh, on top of I'm going to succeed because I'm crazy. Uh, this is going to be a great meme. I'm very excited. So you can see, just does a little bit of a swapperoo. But a bum, but a bum, but a bum, making laughter from microchips. Beep boop bop beep boop And oh, that's so good. I love it, I love it. Um, all right, so super fast, let's, let's try, let's try something else. I've been having a lot of fun with him. I've probably been having too much fun. Oh, this is gonna be good, this is gonna be dirty. We're gonna add Rick Rubin.
Dude, this guy is so good.
He is, he's a great meme lord.
You know, the best meme lords are evil scientists at the end that, you know, we— that's all we do.
Green text, what is green text? Image prompts, uh, yeah, yeah. So we have fine image prompt, uh, so we, we have clothing swap, uh, which I'm going to premiere in a few minutes, um, and we are integrating, uh, Gemini and stuff as well. So don't worry, that's, that's getting there. Um, so all right, let's, let's show you guys, uh, clothing swap. So this is going live very shortly, um, and I'll show you. So check this out. All right, this is my first time showing this. I've been waiting. Very exciting. It's gonna go live in the next half hour to an hour. So you could put any clothing on. So if you're an e-commerce brand, you could understand how this could be really big, is you put your clothes on any meme. Um, so let's— I'm, uh, pulling up some clothes right now that, that me and my team made. Um, you know, just a simple meme support. It works best as a PNG. It doesn't have to be but it definitely works best. Um, and, uh, let's put it on, uh, Janky, whatever his name is. So we'll just press a little swaparoo and you'll see, uh, it'll put the clothes on. So, uh, we are, uh, totally changing the meme game. So if you're an e-commerce brand and you want to put your memes on all sorts of clothes, um, I think this is actually a killer feature that I'm really excited to see how people try it. Like, yeah, I'm very bullish on that. Very excited about that. Dude, crazy thing happened yesterday. FuckJerry reached out to me, which is crazy. I tried interviewing them like 3 years ago for my book Memes Make Millions and could never get a response. And they said they're a fan of the software. I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm excited. So they're an OG there. They like OG, like 100 million meme lord. So, all right, where's that clothing swap?
Boom, boom, boom.
Takes a little while. That is the power of AI. It's getting faster every day, but let's, uh, let's see what's happening. All right, how's that chat doing? This will go hard. What is green text? Um, any, any explanations of that might be helpful.
Um, but yes, we got—
so we'll be integrating the entire Gemini model very soon, uh, but right now we've just got this little clothing swap special prompter. And come on, come on. And we're gonna be showing you some other things too.
Let's see, making laughter.
See, this is why it's not Completely. Yeah, let's, let's go, dude. Software is like, software is like a little kid that you just keep pushing. You're like, come on, you guys got it, you guys got it, let's go. Uh, what's weird is like I can see on the back end that this thing's working. Um, so it just takes about a second.
All right, let's try different meme.
Maybe there's an issue. All right, let's try with this guy. This was working. All right, takes about a second. It's all good.
All right, all right, let's see.
Let me pull that up. Dude, that's the crazy thing, um, you guys get to see like the issues and different stuff. Oh, there was a— there was an error on that other meme. I think something around like his face or something.
I don't really know why there's an error. That's so weird.
Um, I don't know, did he think he was naked?
I'm not sure.
We'll figure that out, but it's all good. All right, let's, let's make some more memes. Uh, that's why the clothing— we, we're, uh, we're in beta, guys. We're in beta on that clothing thing. Uh, so let's, let's show some other cool shit. But oh, this one's good. The good, uh, chaotic evil We'll do that. I love this meme personally. It's like the two guys are stuck. All right, VC. Here we go. Here we go. VC, VC.
All right.
So see how they're blowing each other? It's scientific. And then we will add bootstrappers.
But do you do—
so that's the diamonds in the rough. VC, I guess it would be. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, this is, this is beautiful. This might be the most beautiful work of art I've ever created. Yeah, I feel like you needed that, that white, white outline, you know what I'm saying? Needs a little bit of—
there we go.
I really like this. Nobody else knows that you could do this, but because I built the software, I know like the little, the little secrets. But yeah, you could, you could kind of just fuck around with that and, and drag it and it makes like really cool memes. Like I'll show you. The one where it's like perfect. So let me show you this. All right, so this Grinch one, I guess it's because we're on— oh, it's because we're streaming that it's a little slow. That's why I was like, why is it slow? Is there something wrong? It's like, oh, because you're fucking streaming, asshole. So this one, it's like, oh, what does this mean again? You just click the light bulb.
Oh, right, right. That feeling when All right, so that feeling when—
that's what I like about like the idea section, because even dude, I wrote a book about memes and sometimes I don't even know the memes, like, or sometimes I don't even know like the name of it or whatever.
Like, the feeling when, uh, I feel like this— yeah, there you go, there we go, dude. It's an art form, it's an art form, dude.
The modern, the modern Michelangelo is making memes.
That feeling when The cold brew is nitro.
Um, I've been drinking a lot of cold brew, as you guys could see. I was not planning on streaming today, but I had a lot of excess energy, and so I was, I was very excited, uh, and, and, uh, about these new features. So, uh, also something I want to show you guys, uh, so somebody, somebody posted about this the other day. They're like, oh, I wish AI semantic search for memes was a thing. I was like, oh dude, we already made that, like 2 months ago, bro. Like, you're just, you're not paying attention. So if you type in happy, you're going to see it's not just like, okay, cool. Like, this is what it originally was. These top ones were just as happy, but now you'll see like yippee, right? That's crazy. Like, how does AI know that yippee means somebody's happy, right? And it's because we had AI scan all the memes and it scans every single meme that we had and videos. And even the transcripts of the videos to scan it, find the meaning, find the keywords, everything, all the semantics. So you could see like smiling, right? I type in happy and it knows smiling. Like that is so cool to me. I don't know. I feel like we are like, I don't even remember all the meme templates name. Like I said, I wrote a book about this. Sometimes I don't even remember. But if you type in like Tesla, right? You'll see it's not just Tesla, Tesla. Tesla, it's actually Elon, right? Elon, Elon, right? Or you type in OpenAI and you'll see it's not just OpenAI, it's Sam Altman, right? So it's, it's that next level memeing and scheming.
Um, so super exciting, super, super, super sick.
Uh, that feeling when the, uh, the live stream is a surprise. I was, I was not planning on doing a live stream. That's the— dude, you got to be able to surprise yourself, right? It's, it's one thing to surprise, surprise your audience, but surprising yourself, now that's, that's the next level. That's a lot more fun. Um, all right, so that clothing swap worked. Let me show you this, uh, what that, what that looked like.
Uh, pretty sick actually. Um, this shit's funny.
So, oh man, this stream is going slow because of my Wi-Fi.
So I apologize in advance, you crazy motherfuckers. Let me show you what this looks like. Badoop, badoop, badoop.
It's crazy this is my job. That's wild.
Like, I just gotta, just gotta be here.
This is the job. All right, so you can see this clothing swap, right? I just got sent it. And so now he has meme support, right? He has that shirt on that I was showing you guys. So we just did a little clothing swap and now, all right, so we got the clothing swap, so that's great. But like, we gotta face swap myself on, right?
Obviously.
So we're going to do that now. So we start with a picture of me. And so guys, it's not enough just to make funny memes. You have to become the meme. This is my whole— it's my whole point that I've been like preaching for months, right? Or years at this point. It's like the reason why I did those viral subway videos, the reason why I'm like, you know, put myself on there. It's not enough just to make funny memes. You have to become the meme. You have to become the idea. And when you become the meme, you become everywhere, right? And you can see right here. So I got my meme support shirt on and I could just add it to canvas and we're good to go, right? Because memes are the mode. All right, so let's keep showing you guys some cool stuff. I got some more stuff to show you guys. So Not sure if you guys realize we now have a video section for Memelord Pro, um, and so every day we're uploading all sorts of insane new viral videos, uh, and you could just add captions. You could even have Grok write your captions if you're feeling like a lazy fuck, uh, you could turn it square, uh, which is better for X. That was a very much requested feature, um, and, uh, I'm not gonna do this on here because of the, the streaming Wi-Fi and shit, uh, until I— I need me some Starlink, okay? Um, but you could do that, you could do videos. You could also, if you want to make a slideshow of your memes, which is a very popular formula for, for apps, um, if for, for promoting your app, I've seen a ton of apps do this, uh, and we, we've just given you some, some simple music, you add your memes, and you're able to make a slideshow. It shows up in your Dank Bank where all your memes are, which is, which is super exciting. So I'm also going to show you something I'm very excited about, which, which is animating your memes. So it's not enough just to make a funny meme, but like, imagine if you could actually animate your memes, right? So I'll show you right here. We've got it in the Dank Bank. And this is going to be going live just for me. I have me as Drake on the Drake meme.
And let's see. And my Wi-Fi, I need Starlink. All right. Can you guys see that?
You guys see?
All right.
Yep. There we go. So you can see me as Drake, right? I showed this to my wife and she freaked out.
So. All right.
So you're going to be able to animate your memes, right? So this is a long-haul play. All right. Right now you get 5 seconds, whatever. And that's not my fault. That's, that's just the problems with AI of what you're able to do. But we're going to be building out a lot more where you could build an entire fucking funny commercial, whatever you want to do, whatever weird stuff you want to make. This is what I'm saying, man. It's not just about memes.
It's a lot deeper than that.
You got to be able to make like whatever weird shit you want to make. So you can see here's me as like Christopher Walken or whatever.
Just full screen.
There we go. So you can see like I could add my voice on here. And if I want to say need more cowbell or need more memes, I'll be able to do that. So that's the long haul. I've been running the software for 6 months, so I'm pretty happy with how it's going. Not going to lie. I hit a big MRR goal yesterday. Yeah, definitely exciting. I'll see somebody just already added a new meme, this Duke meme from White Lotus.
So Oh, I like this one.
Let me close some extra tabs.
I think things are— all right.
Wow, I've not seen all of Doom since like I was 14. That's crazy, bro. That's actually wild to think about. Streaming be like that? How does fucking Kaisanot stream? Does, does Kaisanot have a— I feel like Kaisanot must have a better computer than like Sam Altman or some shit, you know what I'm saying? Like streamers must have the highest levels of computers. I'm not a real streamer. This is just me randomly streaming on a, on a, you know, Monday midday, which I probably— I should be working. You guys, why are you even watching this? You guys should be working too. This is crazy. But yeah, they must have some crazy computers.
There we go. Nice. What are you guys doing?
You guys are crazy. Why are you— why are you watching a meme stream right now?
There we go.
I love it.
I love it.
So you can see I also just added my podcast over here, which is kind of nice. So if you need some in-app entertainment, I hope you enjoy the ride. Enjoy the— keep your arms inside the ride, man. Keep your arms and legs inside the ride.
Nice little badda-bang, badda-boom.
And we are all good. All groovy. We're going to close out some extra tabs.
This is driving me fucking bonkers. All right, cool.
Very exciting. So you guys have seen some crazy— we added animation, we added clothing swaps, um, and, uh, we, you know, are at the face swaps and everything else. So, um, we are 6 months deep in to the software and by me, uh, because I'm the one who built it. Um, but, uh, compounding, it's— so, uh, yeah, things, things are gonna keep going. It's, it's pretty wild. Everybody like, uh, you know, we're talking a lot about, you know, 6 months ago or whatever. Uh, yeah, somebody just added a crazy meme. Jason Levin, uh, somebody just— they, they were talking about how, um, you know, all the models are the ones that are going to be getting the money, right? Is like the foundational models. Um, but now VCs have turned their heads where it's like, oh no, it's the, it's the rappers. It's, it's not even the rappers, but it's can you build a moat around your product, right? And so like what's so sick about that is like, you know, I can integrate any single API I want, any, any AI. So as AI gets better and better, like, we could integrate it in our software. Like, it is so cool to me that just with a single API I could add, you know, all the craziest shit. Um, we want to animate memes, we could do that. We want to, you know, create an entire fucking movie studio. Like, that's the next level, is, uh, is, is going to that where it's, it's not just Uh, not just memes, it's way deeper than that. Um, so I don't know, I'm, I'm very excited by that personally. Like, the idea that, uh, you know, knowledge is about to be, uh, infinite and free, you know, like, it's crazy. Like, all the compute is free, all the AI is. And so you have a cool product and you could just constantly integrate it, uh, and, and integrate your product with AI and keep adding new stuff, um, you could just— your product gets so much better every day. Um, so it's just so much fun, um, which is great for users too, right? Like, I get to add cool shit and then my users get to use it. You guys get to face swap stuff, you guys get to animate memes. Like, um, people hate on, hate on, uh, Sam Altman and everyone, but goddamn, like, thank you to Sam and, uh, to, to all the different AI model creators out there because you're making, uh, it's, it's not, it's not just like using ChatGPT. I don't really use ChatGPT, but now I get to use all sorts of AI, um, you know, Grok, whatever it might be, uh, you know, all the different models, Replicator, whatever. It's a whole marketplace, right? So any software gets to integrate AI in different ways, and it really comes down like, it's not about money anymore and how expensive they are. It's like, how creative can you be, right? Can you think of how you could use AI in a smart way, right? Like, let's say we want to just grab the face, right? So this is a whole, just like a separate API just for grabbing the face of somebody to make a sticker, right? Like, you have to be creative to win in— let's make a sticker of the Mad Scientist, right? It's not just, you know, it's not just about making money with it. It's, can you think of weird new creative ways to use it. Damn it, what happened? Where'd the face go? Ah, you motherfucker. That's the problem when you, uh, when you build your own software. You're like, there's nobody to blame but yourself.
There's nobody to blame.
All right, well, let's just remove the full background then. If the face isn't working, it must not be recognizing. So it's all good. Um, he does have a weird face. I don't know if it's a real human face, you know, like I could see why it might not have recognized his face. Um, so, uh, so I, I, I understand that. Um, also Brian Johnson memes, he is slapping. I love how Brian's posting memes now. It makes me really happy that like he has totally leaned into it. Um, rather than like trying to be a super serious health billionaire, um, type guy, like he is leaning into the meme. And, uh, you know, there's just a ton you can do with that. Um, Uh, this is me, my one good night of fucking sleep. I don't sleep much, guys, if you can't tell. Um, you know, I'm tweeting all the time, but if you, if you can't tell, um, I don't, I don't sleep that much.
I say, uh, my one good night of sleep, guys.
I'm about to record a podcast today with two founders who you've never heard of who are making $150,000 a month. They have no idea what vibe coding is, and I find it hilarious. I texted them both. I was like, yo, this vibe coding shit's crazy. Like, what are you talking about? Like, they're not on Twitter. Like, one lurks and has, you know, 100 followers. The other has never been on Twitter. Like, it's crazy. All right, just because people have followings, like, there are people out there who are just lurking, who are just making moolah, uh, that like you just don't even know about, right? And that, that, you know, like that pisses me off too. And it doesn't piss me off that much, but like, it's so sick. Like, um, you know, you don't have to be a vibe coder. You don't have to like follow the trends. You can do your own thing, right? Like, these guys, like, all they do, like, they don't have followings. They just pay other influencers to push their software, doing $150 grand a month, right? So they're, they're going to be on my podcast. Make sure, uh, that'll be coming out this week. So it's The Jason Levin Show. Um, so that'll be coming out. I'm really excited about that. They're going to tell me all about their strategy around influencer marketing, paying influencers, um, building software. It's like an AI video kind of thing. Um, so, uh, it's, it's, it's pretty exciting, pretty, pretty sick when you think about it. The fact that like they have, you know, you don't, you don't necessarily need a following, right? Um, it helps, but if you, if you don't want to be the influencer, you could just pay influencers. You could stay behind the scenes. Like, they personally prefer that. Um, I wish I spent more time paying influencers instead of being the influencer.
Just kidding.
I, I enjoy this.
I, I'm— I wouldn't call myself an influencer.
I'm just a meme lord. I'm just a—
I'm just a meme lord. Um, I love this. These guys, such goofballs. Such goofballs.
Uh, let's do a little AI background removal on this thing. Uh, where should we—
where should we add, um I'm thinking—
oh, I forgot I have AI Image. Let's, let's add them. I'm thinking like a beach. I think a beach would be nice, like a romantic sunset beach.
Um, let's make an image here. Let's, let's hope this works, for God's sake, you know. No, it should, it should work. Wink wink. Yeah, it should work.
There we go.
All right, it worked. All right. Oh, they're so cute, they're so cute. Imagine them just—
I feel like this is not the colors that I was thinking of. That's a little too cyberpunk for me. I love cyberpunk, but I was thinking like you know, maybe like photorealistic, uh, romantic sunset beach in Connecticut. It's got to be Connecticut. They, you know, you know what I'm saying?
I feel like, I feel like they're, they're just, they're not—
I mean, the, they're very southern men. Well, Shane's from my hometown actually, he's from Pennsylvania, um, but, uh, and Post is from Texas, uh, or whatever his real name is.
Uh, there we go. Let's see. Ah, Why is it pink again? That's crazy.
But I feel like that's better.
That's definitely— oh, this is—
so you guys can see like this isn't just a meme software. You can do a lot more. You can make beautiful art, a fan art of your favorite artist.
And what is Shane Gillis? A comedian, right? Yes. All right.
If you guys haven't watched Shane Gillis' stuff, definitely recommend. Dude is brilliant. His new show is actually based in literally my hometown. His show on Netflix, it's, it's straight up based in my hometown. Like, I've been everywhere. It's, it's, it's very strange actually watching it.
All right.
We're going to add this to the thread of dank memes from today.
Um, let's go. This is fun.
Oh nice, there's 212 people here viewing. Are you guys all unemployed? That's crazy.
I love it, I love it, guys. We're doing it.
Oh geez, yo, there are allegations of corporate spying on the timeline.
Lit, that sounds hype.
Um, Rippling versus Deal, allegations of corporate spying. Are you guys seeing this on the, uh, on the timeline? It was definitely Rippling. It's got to be Rippling. Oh no, they're, they're suing Deal. Huh, interesting. That's crazy. Um, wow, that's wild. Wait, did— yeah, holy shit, that's crazy.
Are you guys, you guys seeing that?
Uh, Rippling sued Deal today.
That's wild.
Um, I mean, I'm not, not that surprised. It's really weird, dude. The, the HR boring payroll companies always have the most drama. I swear to God, it's crazy. Rippling, like, fucking, uh, Deal, Warp— like, it's always the most boring companies that have the most drama.
It's insane.
Um, oh, here we go. Uh, but want to know why? Want to know why you see them everywhere? Because Payroll companies are good money. We're just gonna cover this.
We're, we're gonna, we're gonna have VCs stare at payroll companies.
It's just, it, it's really just money. Like I have no problem with, with, with it, you know, but like, it is just like totally like the most boring business of all time. And you're kind of, if, if you claim to be like a corporate in an innovator and you're working at like a B2B SaaS payroll company, you're fucking LARPing, dude. Like, go do something exciting with your life.
Here we go.
But it's great money. Great money. Fantastic money. Hey, you do it. Do whatever you got to do. But there's other ways to make money. My dad always said, if you're the best at what you do, you can make money doing anything. Shout out Papa Levin. Um, but seriously, if you're the best writer, you can make millions. If you're the best meme lord, you can make millions. Um, if you're the best, uh, you know, hamster wrangler— I don't fucking know if that's a thing. I feel like there's got to be somebody who wrangles the hamsters, right? Um, you can make millions. So you don't have to go to some like boring, uh, B2B SaaS payroll industry. You could, you could actually, uh, make your own thing. And that's actually the cool thing about like, um, you know, Memelord is like, I don't want to say artisanal software, but it's, it's very micro niche. Like if this was 10 years ago, probably nobody would make something like this because there wouldn't be that big of a market for it. But now, um, you know, the internet's big enough and it's cheap enough, the cost of compute, the cost to build this is cheap enough because, uh, labor and, and, uh, whatever, and AI, like It's, um, there's going to be software popping up for all sorts of, of micro niches. My friend Oren John wrote a, wrote a good piece about this, how like there's software popping up for all sorts of micro niches, like, like memes. I was featured in there, but a bunch of other ones, right? And, um, you can, whatever, like weird micro niche you want to do. I've seen some crazy stuff. My, uh, my buddy Mark, Marty Markinson made a, um, a software just for like finding travel deals or like finding, like, what was it, Marty? Like free charity hotel dinners. I don't know, like free, free trips from charity or something. Like, because software's so cheap now, or because it's so like cheap to build stuff, like there's gonna be a lot of software popping up that is weird micro, micro, micro niches like this that there wasn't enough money to, it was too expensive to build. 5, 10 years ago, but now you can just build weird stuff.
So I love it.
Um, all right, let's, uh, let's add some, add some memes here. So we also have the sticker section, which you guys have probably, probably seen. Um, all right, I'm, I'm thinking, dude, oh man, that shit was crazy last night. I called that guy out. Uh, it's, it's so over. We're so—
we're back, we're back.
Uh, Yeah, I'm thinking, you know, we're just gonna do Elon, I think, because fuck AOC, terrible human. There we go.
All right, let's, let's go.
There we go. And oh, oh, actually, you know what, we've got a— there we go.
So over—
this is definitely—
yeah, I feel like this is, this is the right, this is the right ratio or the, the right Elon's.
Oh wait, we've got the Elon Times.
Oh, we've got to fit that in somewhere. Uh, which one?
I would say yeah, I mean, this was, this is a couple years old now.
So, so let's—
all right, yeah, let's go.
This is good, this is good, this is good. Oh yeah, all right, I'm liking it, I'm liking it, I'm liking it.
Call me Mimé Chalamet. All right, I'm like, this one I gotta, gotta add this bad boy to the thread.
Um, all right, this is, this is fun.
I forget how much fun live streaming is. It's, it's, uh, I haven't done this in a while. It's, it's pretty fun just like yapping to myself and just vibing.
So it's a good time.
Thanks for coming along. Are there any comments?
I haven't seen any comments. Cool.
All right, 2:39. I think we need 20 and then I'm gonna jump out my window. And I think that's legal to say. Is that legal to say?
I think it's legal to say. All right, we're going to keep making some memes.
All right, like I said, guys, you can start, start for free. Memelord.tech, always a good time.
All right, we're—
oh dude, this is, this is how it feels some days.
This is, this is how I feel. Yeah, this is accurate. All right, all right, post through.
Everybody complains about algo changes. I've been on Twitter since I was 11 or 12 or whatever, since 2011. I've made it through every algo change. Just keep going. The algo is not going to take you out. You're going to take yourself out. All right, just keep going. Pretend like it never happened. I have no idea how the algo works.
I just post bangers, you know.
Stop trying to over-optimize, over-optimizers. Um, just like keep going, you know. Pretty simple.
That's really it. Um, just like keep going.
That dude Paul Graham has a good quote where it's, uh, you know, just keep typing or whatever. Uh, what is it? Uh, startups on startups— startups only die when you stop typing, you know. Um, oh wait, this is, uh, this is, this is Paul Graham. All right, we're gonna, we're gonna change this meme a bit.
Startups only die when you stop Typing. Keep typing. All right.
And I think we need the YC logo.
Pretty sure I already had that saved, but we'll check. We'll check.
Oh, you guys are going to see some weird uploads.
This is a strange place. All right. We're going to find it. All right, it's all good.
We don't need that.
We don't need the logo.
Should I add a logo search?
I figured out how I could do that, but it was just like I, I pushed it back.
I was like, I don't need that. But it'd be kind of nice if you could just search for different logos.
I think I'm gonna add that. Uh, there we go. There we go. This works. This works. I feel like this is good enough. Sometimes good enough is good enough, you know what I'm saying? Sometimes good enough, good enough.
Um, shout out Scott Belsky. For saying, for tweeting the other day, insanity is the moat. Um, that is, uh, that is the software's thesis, is, uh, be more insane, be more unhinged, have fun, and keep typing. All right, uh, that's all from me, uh, the Memelord. Make sure to, uh, try it out for free. It's completely free. I will not be ashamed or upset if you cancel. I might be a little upset, but like You know, I'll survive. I've been rejected before, but give it a try. Have fun, go crazy.
All right, peace y'all.
