Ping pong made me $25,000. I'm gonna explain how. See, I'm not that good at ping pong where I could win some competition. I'm not Asian, despite looking sort of Asian. I'm just Russian, but besides the point, here's how ping pong made me $25,000, right? So 2 years ago in New York City, I hosted a ping pong and tech event, right? So I had 150 people out to talk about tech and play ping pong. I had the event sponsored by a fintech company and I met a customer there for my content agency. I made $25,000 playing ping pong. This is something I call party marketing. It's super popular in startups, VC, and even in small businesses. Companies throw events, it's called a loss leader. You spend a little bit of money running out an event, maybe getting supplies, but you are able to make so much more money back from it. 10 outta 10 recommend throwing events. I've thrown a bunch of events since then, all sorts, and every time I end up making a little bit of cash from it. There's always an ROI. It's just like drug dealing. If you've got a good product and you know how to throw a good party, you can make money. I guess those years throwing parties in high school paid off. Sorry, Mom.
