Easier AI tools don't make better content. What matters is curiosity, judgment, taste, and critical thinking. Education must teach young people when to use AI, when to question it, and how to think independently.

If there's one sentence I hope you to know from my talk today, I think it is, lowering the barrier to make something is not the same as lowering the barrier to having something worth saying. And I think the second part is exactly why education still matters. What may increasingly distinguish one young creator from another is curiosity, judgment, your own taste, critical thinking, personal experience and your point of view. The challenge is to develop young people who understand when to think of AI and when to question AI and what to think without AI. It's about making sure that as artificial intelligence becomes more powerful, human creativity becomes more intentional and I think more powerful, more thoughtful, and more critical.
