This is a short excerpt from a lecture about correct understanding of the Holy Name of the Lord. The speaker warns against intellectualizing or misattributing the efficacy of chanting to mundane mechanisms (e.g., breathing) and emphasizes the transcendental, incomparable, and fully cognizant nature of the Holy Name, cautioning that misunderstanding can itself be an offense.

6 is to give some interpretation on the Holy Name of the Lord. Sometimes different poets and people, they like to think that chanting the Holy Name is actually effective because of so many imagined breathing or this or that, they may make up something they do not understand the actual position of the Holy Name, how He is fully cognizant, transcendental, uncomparable to anyone else, that Ka has infested all of his potencies in His Holy Name. So just try to make some mental intellectual adjustment avoiding Krishna and the transcendental position of the Holy Name. It's another offense which you have to avoid.
