2002 || Arrival, Darśana and Chakra Installation || New Tālavana + New Orleans, USA

Transcript of a devotional lecture (likely by Jaya Pataka Swami) about Hindu/ISKCON temple life, deity installation (particularly Sudarshana chakra), samskaras (life-cycle sacraments), festival worship, and community organization for Krishna consciousness. The speaker interweaves stories, scriptural references, practical temple procedures, and pastoral advice on congregational management.
Hello Sam. Ram. Ram. Ram. It's. It's. It's Sam it where new yearly around tries to serve was very happy to see nice gardens developed for different times of the year the festivals are participating like the chat that addition that people don't take it that their homework should they should take residential it was indicating that somebody was they couldn't attend worship worship they would back up the duties of the prophet behind them rather worship there's so much importance you wanted to give to the main beauty is mainly rehab but in my op where you have 500 grands and kids but the beginning of worship this one of the things which open the primary thanks for G for unifying a community as everyone comes together to serve in Krishna how when they discovered when the mother Napuri discovered the Gopal being that Ka had come there to the village and he was such a renounced mendicant that he would not ask anybody for food. Neither would he make any endeavor to eat. Unless somebody came up and asked him have you eaten? Would you like to eat something? And he would need unless he was depending on Christian was deceived by there in the village. And one cowboy boy came up to him with a big clay pot of milk and said that I like to see that everybody coming in my village here has something to eat. So here's some milk not just a whole food and I'll come back later to get the then when so monitor is waiting late and the boy doesn't come back. Then he lay down and put some rest. Then he was dreaming that boy came back and grabbed him by the hand and said Follow me. Took him deep inside the forest. He said I've been here for a long time. And it was very hot. Took him inside and then he showed one little clearing inside the forest there. There was the dini covered with the mother. When the pri woke up and he realized that the covered boys were giving the knot was actually Vishnu Mishnah was leading him to his meeting. So the next morning he got all the villagers and told them that they had to go into the jungle. So they're chopping with the meshelis into the underbrush. And there he chose to come to the place he saw. And there they found this. This is the same de as Shri Nagi. Have you ever seen them in New Rhode island they have have copy of not exact copy but something and so they put the DD on platform stone platform and they do it Maha Abhishek the whole village everybody started cooking. They cook big piles of Japan and all kinds of offerings for the needy. They built. They labored together and built a small temple for the needy. Needy remained there for a long time Until Arant saves Mogul army came and was destroying temples. And then one Rajput queen came and put the needy into her kingdom in Rajasthan which was free of Mogul. That's how my Bhopal ended up in Mahbara, Rajasthan. For a while he was done so everyone was worshipping and serving him. So I'm always encouraged when I hear how our he is coming together. For certainly Raya beautiful photosynth showed me about Chandra really were covered with blue Chanda. Because in Calcutta we always do nine days when the guru said Chabot he needs a bunch of us. It's just like going to. He stays there for he stays out for nine days. One day traveling and one day coming back. And seven days he's there. Our daily is in Waleen satisfied for one day and come back same day until you have. This is the new Calabon is 1 of the 12 forests of Vandala Pura is like Anyway whatever this one idea of Aditya Vishwam ideas that perhaps festivals based around deities and everybody like in Chagina Puyo. It's very caste conscious place with Ramana, Namra, all these things. But when they take prasada there are no cats considered. They say Jagannathe. I respect so much the tapers. They all have to sit on the floor. Everybody just takes prasad and in the same lane they'll say whoever your caste is, whatever your social status. Of course we don't consider all those things. Anyway, you know why they do. They have so much respect for themselves. So the idea is that we serve in China that everybody comes together all pulling a chariot. That would be important. So sometimes there may be different differences amongst people. But for serving the deity that started, don't forget that Krishna is everyone's life and soul. So we serve Krishna in a very united way. This is an advantage, of course the process of devotional service as Vedas. And we have nine different practices. So already in chains, thinking and remembering our praying and offering on daily basis. Serving the Lord's feet and worshiping and redeeming Father. Then being considering oneself a servant of the Lord, a friend of the Lord and serving everything. Bragging that toys were a complex place. I was trying to figure it out or my family fully understood. But somehow the king or someone distributed services to different brahmanas. So it's one brahmana, one priest was responsible for putting up the Sahara. Maybe 20 priests. However many. And then somebody was responsible for bringing that masala and offering it. Someone responsible for doing the aatu and someone who is responsible for blessing the daily doing the morning puja. They divide that up into so many other little services. So like that. Then they handed that down to their children who took care of them. So you have one Brahmana whose service is to rest the Jesus. But the cast has already been weighed on so many thousands of years in this particular. He gives four days a year to dress. There's another 200 Sach Pujaris. But because of intermarriage they may have also inherited marriage. Nine days cooking in the year, six days rubbing sandalwood things. One priest was telling me all that he had like corporate. He had five, six different services, about 30 days to cover. They have got so different categories, A, B and C punjaris. In total they have something like 14,000 Punjaris. Mommy. I don't know how to keep track of the schedule without a computer or anything. They exactly figured out who supposed to eat how much fortune we don't have. It's so complicated. I think there's much more opportunity to do the servant. There are a lot of opportunities to serve the deities. Then other service of course is to preach Krishna consciousness. I'm sorry community. One side worship with you. The other side is to spread the message to have house program to bring people provide services for different constituents and their congregations. My disciples mentioned that her sister wanted to be married by her. So she was twice initiate the Voldemort. So your sister went through whatever the requisites are for getting her registered as ordained minister with the government so that she can legally perform the ordinary. We have a lot of priests, I don't know how many actually status required to be registered as performing narratives and things like that. That's just one sign. But there's a lot of different samskaras. It's like in poem of Krishna Das's library he has the Samskara book that she was referring to for the installation of the Sudarshan chakra yesterday in the morning. The idea is that civilized human beings may go through 10 Samskaras to awaken their spiritual life from their childhood and do that in the faces of that all the phases of our life we should dedicate to God. Marriage is of course one of those samskaras. And when we leave our body, that's the final samsara. That's the final ceremony here. Before that there's like having a Krishna, having God conscious child conception Samskara gobbled down samskara. But of course people do on their own. They could be trained. And there's during pregnancy with stuff and sivatnayana Sushantam. About three different samskars after childbirth. The Gati Karma. Then there's non Karnata giving the name, taking the first dreams. Pastor was to give the child prisada and also to give the first grains. The sacrament that was offered to the Lord so that the first grain is large as the grain that was offered to Krishna. When the first Friday when I first do education at Habikarch. Then we should write the names of God. We did a ceremony Maya for cutting the hair for the first time. You were there for that one. The barber was pretty. It is a custom to keep the hair for about 2, 3 years from the birth. Then they share the heart. And that's the quote in the so many rituals. I don't know the importance of it, but girls do again what their minds do. I don't know too much about that. The three year old is. The point is that every state is the first five years. Children really can't do much on their own. So up to that point the parents are doing things for their child. It becomes a whole community of parents. They've made this much merit for the whole community. They come together. Hello, Peace. I will fight against you. Most parents would like to see their children give up as they can stop spiritual benedictions. We're going to take advantage of all the opportunities so it has opportunity to bring everyone together in the community. This also a service you can provide for the greater community. Some Brahmanas can do that on behalf of the temple. We're talking this morning, I think. Oh. Somehow in the Vedic culture, the siege and spirit as we know it's the only tradition that has a ceremony where you can send a blessing to your departed forefather. Because in our theology the soul never dies. The person is still living, but now it's some other place. So that is a sentence and offer a worship to God and send dedicate whatever results are from that worship to the forefather. There must be a lot of people who like to send that happiness to them. Regarding loved ones, Kul Maharaj, the Mormons also do that. Oh they do? Yeah. They do baptism for the dead and they're faithful. That's why they're so in the genealogy is they go back and figure out all their ancestors and baptize for all their dead ancestors. The native tradition has it too. The native American tradition has that very strongly. Actually Japanese probably issued two ancestors, I don't know. Same thing. They worship the ancestors. That's the worshipping ancestors and worshiping God and sending the benefit to the ancestors may be slightly different. To be able to send the result of the worship or of the service to the ancestors, you have to do a separate ceremony or you just say, oh, preacher. It is not just for that. It's a little specific ceremony for the church. This mantras are dedicated, say the name of their forefather, foremother, whatever. And it's a way to dedicate them. The specific mantras, same mantras that were used by the he went to perform the ceremony, which they were in the house every night. Once in the night when they go to Gaya to perform. It was supposed to be more powerful there because the Lord has footprints of Vishnu and Vishnu actually came and stood there and he left his footprint. So people come and they do Abhishek of the footprints and then they offer. That's what you got initiated. Like Ishvar when he was doing the Abhishek, when he was actually actively worshipping with. Then he first experienced love for Krishna. Tears started pouring from the science. This is service to go. In my effort, we started wherever somebody visits the temple. Because people really don't know. Even in India they're not. So they really don't know what to do. They just come kind of stand or. So there's a group of devotees that guide them through. Put flowers in their hands. They hold the flowers. Repeat after me. Say an offering on My Basics mantra 1. Step by step, all the way. Few people actually appreciate very much. They can get a plate of fruits and incense and things and offer. I don't know how often they get so much grace. It as a temple, we provide service for the community, engage everyone. In South America and some of our temples, they started clubs. You have a community like we have, where people just live. People are scattered throughout the city, but they form like a club for a fellowship for serving the leaders. And everybody pledges a certain number of hours in a week there they say, well, myself American Center. Everyone has money. Some people help by giving money to two. One who donates money and one who donates time. One do both depending on their capacity. So that they encourage those who can only get time. They're not financially sustained a lot of money. They have a separate pot for the people who may be electricians or plumbers or whatever. And they start so many hours in the meant to relieve some of their sign in when they come shout out to the Deities. These are devotees that are offered once a month. They have a Mr. Ghost deal with all of those devotees. What's the name of the philosopher? I said it was like born in time. The previous name is born in time. And then I was really struck by the commonplace. For them, anything they did, they would go ask the deity. You know, is this a good idea? Should I do this or should I go here? It's like no explanation. It just understood if the George would speak to the deity and the deity would give them instructions. Yes, well, we should ask permission to do something. Ask for the blessings. But not everyone can get their message back from the deity. That requires finding the reception. That's why also we have spiritual master who's externally representing. He may confirm that okay, this is all right to do silly. Go ask the blessings of the people. Another nice thing was I was president of Los Angeles in 1970 before I was sent to India. When Srila Prabhupada was there. He called me the senior. And they had every once in a week they would takes the deed on a little procession or homage. Then he'll be outside. He'll be just before taking back in the temple in the courtyard there all of the royalists come up and offer a flower and offer their daily report what service they did for the week and what they. And we were doing the that once a month in my airport for a long time. I don't know since I started traveling somewhere along the way. Since we still offer annual reports to the tvc suddenly Prabhupada inspired the knowledge inspired Prabhupada said that deity is the owner. He's the priority. There may be many managers. There may be many people who serve in the deity over the years instead of deity may be there for thousands of years. There'll be so many different managers who come involved his actual privateer. So the managers are supposed to give their report. Other things are going in terms of like the income and expenses. Let me give the meeting report about the also give a general report survival code. We give report on the cows and income. How many people chanted so many different reports from all of the different departments. The leaders of love were received among new cows were increasing decrease. However it was all important such as the deity. That was a nice opportunity to everybody felt very responsible that what they're doing Officer on Sunday what they had was like individual devotees would come up and they. They offer individual. There's a care time going on so not everybody hears what they're saying. They just became. I know they Had a very deep impression out there and said the way we can please I must show how we can cooperate with each other for serving Krishna's interest. Social kind of support. Helping the Yanta, the youth of our marriageable age to get marriage placement. Helping them married people with marriage counseling. Helping young people with job placements. Definitely a big congregation. They must have over a thousand initiative. So they have a lot of business men in different people differently employ people to give a preference to a person. For the devotees we have a talk similar to bachelor shins. We're not exactly so interactive. Kind of more like the study groups. And especially they have assignments and they study. They meet every two weeks short reading. They may end the some degrees. I've mentioned many gradually as they get bigger than they have assistant counselors. It's how they can give support to the congregation to train them. Before those are older they become something people can choose which group they'd like to be in. I think we have a congregational Christian journal. We covered Brahmashan. Whenever Kante Prabhupu was just here, he had a small meeting. So maybe a lot of the devotees that are here weren't convinced. I know there were some that were. And he was speaking about how within the community too. It's also like a sector of Bhakti bhiksha to associate in the homes amongst the community. To do that on a weekly basis or a monthly basis. How that was important. Also the difference in the concept will be a one person person who's the counselor. And that person should consider like the elder and guides the whole group. For a black conviction group we have a leader. But the leader is more like a facilitator. And the group is facilitated by that person. But they have different guided discussions and group activities that can also be done Also take responsibility, make plans, strategic plans. How to give Krishna to other people. How to do some festival. If you have different groups, the different. It's easy to assign like teams. They have different teams and assign different services for the festival For a different team you can change them. This team will be responsible for cooking with clean out. This team for share distribution. So thank you. Really all the guests Middle east they have one congregation. There's 2,000 people. Everybody's in the group except those who are. We appreciate that anymore if we take Krishna as our life and soul. We want to serve the Lord. And anyone who's serving the Lord we appreciate that. How do we foster more that mood accommodation. Especially when there seems to be some dissension. But there's certain common Things that never need to happen. And we need to separate any kind of disagreements that come up with that service. Why re appreciate. It's not his fault that we're not mature enough to somehow immediately dissolve our differences. It might take some time to work out at least some factors, but for serving the Lord, vary the differences at least for that period of time. America has such a traditional 9, 11. So many things that shares with so many people have different national rules to bring us together and discuss what's needed. We used to take our service traditionally Life Flame right now in Israel. What's his name? He was. He was a friend of one of our devotees. He came and gave a presentation to the governing body, the Mission of Ra. We may need to have mediation, conflict resolution. So he's worked for the United Nations International mediator. Great references. They can fight in prayer for them. I don't know if I was going to claim to be a mediator. I don't think I claim. I work for United Nations. I don't know exactly which department he brought. But yeah, there's always some problems in New York because I mean there's a lot. When you're in more and more than faction and you're dealing with money and all these things and political power, there's obviously a lot of rivalry that comes into it. So it should be much harder. But still you can find common ground based on common interests and or different factors. We're not on that kind of level. This is a lot of easier to be able to mediate. I was thinking concerning Lord Ramachandra in Lahu Mahavatamita 5:34-36. This is confirmed in the description of the incarnation of Mahmud are incarnations of Vasudevas and Ka Prajuma Aniruda respectively. The Parva Prana always says that Lord Ramashanda is incarnation of the Rayan, that the other three brothers are incarnations of Sesha Chakra and Shankar in which the valve has concluded. In other words, these opinions are not contradictory. In some millenniums Lord Ramachandra and his brothers appear as incarnations of Vasudev Sankharshan of Illuminani Ludda. In other millenniums they appear as incarnations of Narayana, Sesha Chakra and Shankar. The residence of Lord Ramachandra on this planet is Ayoga. Ayoga city is still existing in the district of Hyderabad which is situated in the northern side of Uttara Pradeshami. Translation purports with texts 1, 2 and 3 in the manner of the Srimad Bhagavatam 5th chap. 5th 18th chapter. In the chapter entitled the island of Jambudvip, technologies like islands and oceans. Samaputta Prabhu and his book Sacred Sacred Universe refer to different things like the. What do you call orbit of the planets in relation to the earth and the sun. Sometimes maybe something may refer to a galaxy. They refer to some just for explaining to the king, put it in very simple terms like islands and oceans, things the king had experienced because there was no telescopes in those days, although Sukadeka Goswami knew what the universe looked like. But to explain it to somebody, unless you have specific terms for that, then you have to just explain them the simple terms that the person knew. Saputta Prabhupada said he showed us at a Mayapa meeting we had last week that he got many very positive reviews from very renowned personalities. We asked, what about negative ones? I got a few of those too. Some of the establishment, really conservative scientists also wrote, what is all this? They don't want to accept anything that they said. I'm not used to all these Sanskrit terms. A thing of substance, actually, just to be kind of nasty, trying to reduce the value of it. Those who wrote good, they went into it, understood the subject matter. But for all of the different calculations which were at least thousands of years ago, that they all scientifically match up almost irrecularly with what measurements we know today to be true. In other words, this is such a shocking paradigm because according to their ideas, human beings were cavemen 10,000 years ago and so thousands of years ago that they had a technology that could tell them the measurements of the universe and the solar system, which we only know within the past century very accurately. But 1800s they started when they were quite off in their calculations. Until they invented the telescope. They couldn't even give the size of the planets. But in the Bhagavatam it gives the science of the planets. And in the Surya Siddhanta, which is about 1000 years ago, BHAV with those body fishes. So this is another thing. It can always come together for chanting as we always support whatever we can. Those who are serving the deity, trying to get the DD service as best as possible, have big festivals celebrating the different special days on the babies get all the mercy from the lords. So that's what they're teaching of theology. I met many Christian priests and they also found God's not really a person. Muslims generally think God's Allah is not a person. If you meet a very elevated scholar and you say well, God, Allah is a person. Then some admit he's a person. But we can't imagine any kind of form for him. So it's not described in the Quran. You know, we can't really be offensive to imagine what form he has. He's not a human. He's not like any. He's a person, but not something that we can't actually see. Visible person. So we had a. That's my abyss. Not. It's called confidential. I explained it all in 15th chapter Bhagavad Gita, Krishna says, I'm revealing you. This is the yoga of the brushottam Yoga, Yoga of a supreme person. Because in the Vedas it describes it, Krishna himself describes, I am a person. I'm the celebrated supreme person. Here I am. He's acting out there he is supreme personality. And he mentions in the last verse that this is the most confidential mountain that's so confidential. Most people, even they believe that there's God. They pray to God, but they're very confused about, you know, what kind of person is he. Some people do make. So he's a transcendental person. And we're happy to be here with all of you. We're going to. The first thing is an ending ceremony before we start. And the different persons who are going to participate actively in the ceremony are established and they're authorized because they have the yatiman for the temple to get the vakas. And the first authorized me to oversee the ceremony. And then in turn we have to be doing the yagyas and then the other sponsors for the ceremony. We also tie a thread around their wrist, their wrists, so that they can get their blessings for the ceremony. Then after that we'll go one after another. I'll explain at each point what each ceremony signify. After you do this, the next thing will be to chant some invocation questions for the purification already. So, so the San Helpa means that we're declaring to the Lord that this is what we intend to do. We want to establish a sudhakyana chakra and this auspicious day and this particular auspicious place. And so it sets the basis for what the sacrifices that we're doing on fishing. When we say O Makyo, whenever you say Om, it's like dialing access code to God. So immediately you're addressing the Lord and then they're telling him, we're calling you. And this is why we have a guru service. So these are like basic formalities. But now generally what happens is when you establish a vishka temple. This is Vishnu temple. As Krishna is the Rishi Vishnu born in tire of so Vishnu Tatva. In the spiritual world there's supreme Lord and the original personality is Krishna. He has only expansion in this material world. He appears as Ravish. There's also Shakti, Tattva and Suradara is also Shakti. She's in charge of engaging all the devotees in Krishna service. And Radharani, who is by the side of the pleasure bonus here in the Lord, she's the original bonus. So there is the water and then we are the very small particles, small chit shaktis. That means this very small spiritual parts. They're so small that we can't either be under the protection of the spiritual energy, but we come under the protection, the control of the material energy. Anyone who is to trying under the protection of the spiritual energy automatically gets snatched down by the material energy. So in this world most everyone is under the control of the material energy. What we're trying to do is bring them over under the protection of the spiritual energy. Well, a temple is a place which is dedicated for the service of the Lord. It is like a kind of embassy from the spiritual world. It's like sometimes you read in the newspaper how some North Koreans take shelter of the embassy, American embassy or the Japanese embassy or the South Korean embassy. And so they get asylum. And then somehow by some circus, this rule takes a long way. I give to that country or as I accept it for assignment. So these duties of the spiritual world and we take shelter here. So we also get a kind of spiritual asylum. And at the end of our life we get transferred back over to God. We come here to recharge our spiritual batteries through our discernment with the Lord. So traditionally in every temple there's always a simple attab, just like you have in a church. Often people see a cross or some sort of a tab. Or in India if you have a Shiva temple and they put a trissura which is and so on the Vishnu temples they put a chakra because Vishnu carried that specifically. The chakra we install is the chakra that for machinery Dev there is in his camp. Nashimi Dev is especially the form of the Lord for protecting his devotees. The ideas of people, when they see the chakra from a distance and immediately they'd feel they remember Krishna and they'd also feel some protection. Haridas Thakur, he never, because of his extreme humility, he considered himself outcast and very lowly. So he never would visit the temple, but he would from A distance. See the chakra and pray as the visas. It says. Even if someone offers respect to the chakra to the disc, then also just like having a temple darshan, other people coming on Esfali road that see the chakra will all get a blessing. You have to race brain. You don't have to go to the chakra and navel also be accepted right around. Still mad avoid coming. As I said, normally this is done at the same time when the temple is established by zoning columns and other things. He only got finally permission. I think this is two days ago to establish a check. He had this in his store historical district. Took a while to convince them, I guess. And it didn't have historical posts. These problems don't exist exactly in India. Historical reasons here some red tape. We have to go through what we want to do tonight in this very simple ceremony. Because we like the maximum participation. This is a much simpler installation than other deities. Because the chakra is not worshipped on a daily basis. But the presence of he's also an expansion of Ka. Ka's paraphernalia also are not different from him. And we don't do a daily worship. The worship we do, the deities inside automatically go through the chakra. It's like extension. But so today we don't have to do very elaborate. What we do is we do a ceremony called Gyasa Homer which is be put here in this little mandala that has been created swasti Marilla. And then using a tulsi stick, while they're there chanting the Pusha suktuoma, they'll direct me to touch different parts of the chakra. The chakra has this unique form, but still we can place it on the I years. And also everything is there in the higher spiritual plane. So all those are awakened and invoked. Then after that there'll be requests meditating on Narasimha day. I'll request that the Sudharasana Shakar fully have present there for the auspicious system. Be careful. After which there'll be Vaishnava which will again be this offering. A short 10 minute sacrifice for all of our spiritual mashes. Whatever is going on, the flag is also has a significance. And the plague is also considered one of the paradox of the Lord which also encourages the devotees and the transcription. So there's a ceremony for empowering that way. I'll do that simultaneously. When we do the rational moment, in the devotional moment, we can also go to the dreams. And the kids are already here to throw dreams and answer that as we mentioned, we need to have some Persona go conscious areas and carry these pots go around the temple three times. And then the district Gujaris will they under a technician put the chakra in place in the mountain. And then that happens. Then we take from the water from the pots and we sprinkle it on the chakra and the cake. Then whatever water is left will sprinkle on your heads. So we do a last puja. So there's a glass of of service for all of you that perform. Temples are as I said because they're dedicated for the service of Ka. There's an opportunity for us to come and have darshan of Krishna. Krishna deity is not different from Krishna. Some people that don't understand the Devah deity worship. They consider it as an I worship for us in the Vedas. If you just worship something which is not the Lord then it's also idolatry. But there's a system for establishing a worshipable deity in the scripture. And this will be a very simplified form of deity installation of his large demons and worship in the temple. It's a three at least a three day process. But it actually starts from a time when someone conceives that they want to worship Krishna. They approach up God's fun to make the deity in the image of Krishna be proportion. As I mentioned the scriptures. And then there's like to the bath there's a vat that Abishek that purifies from whatever contamination is there. When they're working and they were hammering, putting on fire and sun. So now there's different kinds of purifying ceremonies with the threshing ceremonies for the larger deities. There's different kinds of Adi losses which hero finds that deity? It's a reflection of the deity. It's called a Bimba. And so there's like Dhanyarivas, there's Jal Adivas putting in a rice paddy, putting in water. There's a Saiyan Adi Vas putting the sleep. The Saadi bas includes all the others. Some wants the shortcut. They just do the sign and line the baby down to rest the day before the sample. And usually before the baby is put in the temple. Then they'll forgot to seduction chakra and worship and they'll bring the baby inside. So now we're explaining the Sudarshan chakra. Now the the Kaand has officially requested chanting certain mantras that he should become and accept the worship. From that point onwards should all the ceremonies are performed according to the Vedas. It is considered that Krishna is present and he is accepting the worship of the devotees. Plus I sometimes will say that devotees having a plan going out of the DB to Monet Krishna Kur in the hot weather. Here we are Krishna Karma and three times a day we have a whole morning. We have a whole. Just as a king would be taking care of. We try to take care of Krishna and the world. Actually 4:30 in the morning there is different ceremony. And every day the deities are changed in the morning and change during the evening. So they have a night dress which is similar rest decoration for them. Take rest and in the morning then they're dressed like this with a more opulent dress that some reply to. And the devotees take the Darshan. I have audience with the Lord in his new dress and worship the guru like that. Through the whole day there's different offerings and food that is offered to the Lord. So this is one of the nine processes of devotional service. Hearing about the Lord, Singing the glory to of the Lord, remembering the Lord. Bowing down and off in prayers to the Lord. Doing daily worship. Archana, that's the sixth or eighth, fifth practice. And this worshiping the Lord is leading the Lord. Being a servant of the Lord was one of the ways for us to develop our relationship with the Lord. Especially recommended that devotees form the Grihasta ashram for householders. They shall also have this deity worship. Have the deities in their home and worship the Lord there on a daily basis with the whole family. Now in the home situation, the deity worship is more simplified. Medicine also purifies the house. Sometimes Vrindavan is called the city of 5,000 temples because there's 500 households that and everyone has a temple. But everyone in India they come to the temple. The big establishment also standard of worship there is more elaborate and they take it as a house dedicated for Krishna. So in this way people are regularly receiving the different temples. It's kind of a unique thing is that the Lord is a person. Holy days like Janmasmi, the current state Krishna or Ramada Pyrenees day of our Ram. Other such holy days we go and visit all the different temples. You know, even in Calcutta there will be some of our life members. They'll visit various temples and they'll time it. So that will be. It's kind of just before midnight for the final reading ceremony in our Lambay temple. There's so many people visit. And then lastly, appearance day of Krishna. The people are lined up the whole night. Until recently 1.4 million people one year went through the queue goes for more than two miles. And people have the whole night until Mahalaya kingdom. The baby doesn't sleep. The whole night is just out. A lot of people of coming back. Everyone on that way wants to have the audience. So this is a little background as a ceremony. We're running this lightly. Going to go forward now. So now we'll do the establish system, install the fire. This is ordinary fire that varies from many things. We want a special kind of fire. So there's about 18 different auspicious fires. So they invoke one of the auspicious fires today the fire to Mangala. And then after that we'll have another fire called Vaishnava. Now he's confining the auspicious fire to come. Then he'll worship that fire. The fire is considered to be the mouth of the like the tongue. So we put grains in the fire. And that's another way of worshiping the Lord. This used to be to lean width as 2 yunas ago. And the 4 yuna are millennium cycled. The first cycle they did meditation. The second they did this fire sacrifice. The privilege of temple worship. For this day it was recommended in Chennai Krishna. So the novices would like to request Sarva's Rai Puranga to rise softly Chennai Krishna and keep the Hare Krishna as the backbone. And when the other mantras are doing chanting this chant up. And when there's any love in the face he can engage in. Because depending fully on it, wherever the chanting of the holy name is done. That makes the place very pure and holy. Lam Ram. He sam it. We're back here too. Sam Jalamala. Sambhavaya. Sambhavaya Sarabato. Ananta Jalava. Jasana. You. Thank you for watching our videos. Be sure to subscribe to our channel.
