Sam. It's, it's, it's, it's Lam Jam Sam. Hal. This is a question and answer session. These philosophical questions. How to explain the glories of Srimati Vadavana to new people? Who is she? Well, she is the original energy, just like the sun and sunlight. What is the meaning of sun without the sunlight? So Krishna is Shakti 1 and his energy is Shakti. So she is the Avi Shakti. She's also specifically the Allahani Shakti. She's the pleasure podcast which says one of them made himself into two so then stands to his Just like in the government, they have ministers and secretaries and so many people that perform the president of the country, he may pass some all shops built illegally on the side of the street will be torn down. The president doesn't want to tear them down himself. He has police, ministers, so many other people that execute this order. The fish has energy. Some are executed as well. Some are for executing orders, some are for giving him pleasure, some are for performing different functions. So many energies in this nerve executing athlete.
When we face a group of Maya bodies that are very strong and.
What.
Is the most logical way to approach so we can establish from the point of the shastras what we are seeing is fully backed up by Shastras.
The way to say to prove that what you're saying is fully backed by shastra is like quoting Shastra if you know that whatever we're saying it's backed up our Shastra. Just like in the last verse of the Bhagavad Gita 14th chapter Krishna says Brahmano Pathistaham I am the foundation of impression of Allah. And then there's so many different breasts which support whatever they're playing some but sometimes there are innocent people, they're already open, you can preach to them. Sometimes there are people who are like hardcore men of violence. Doesn't matter what you say, it doesn't matter how much do you hate them. They don't want to accept somehow in their brain it's already got short circuited so long that it doesn't claim to be circuited correction very easily. The Prabhupada said if they're not envious and if they don't, if you can get them not to talk in their central or then one way is to engage them in service. Then by doing service over a period of time, devotional service and gradually they have a change in height. I knew one person, he was really high for me while I used to meditate naked. And his closet, he Was really, really into the impersonal. I never saw something. They're all like fluid banana just, you know, or a philosopher point. I can't talk to anymore. It's too much for me. I just like. So then I left. Next day I came. It was. What happened? Oh, what happened? I called up the Sanskrit professor and I asked him what does this mean here it says Brahmano patistaham. I am the base of the Brahman. The holidays are always saying that Brahman is base of Krishna. How adherence is Krishna. Say I am the basis of Brahman. Oh, that means the forehead of Brahman, which is totally bogus. It's completely bogus. Prayer parts here. But this does not at all refer to the forehead of Brahman. Brahman. The whole verses, the whole section is done. Anyway, the guy Razun happens they survive on Buddhist philosophy. But he was a real nice guy. Used to come to the temple, speak to the floor, help us get government permissions. He's influential to this guy. He's one of these tough nuts that Paul was talking about. So he just engaged him in service. One day came to temple with a little brochure. It said the path of Jyoti. Or someone said look at it. It's okay. Nicely done in his book. But to the. You know, just be real nice to Naya gave me kind of. He moved to the temple Chan after a few years he told me that, you know, I'm starting to see what you're talking about. It took years to get a chanting and social d and finally one day clicked Krishna as the supreme personality Godhead and the Brahminas his defulishments for two years. And some people are like that doesn't matter what even if you defeat them, they're not going to accept. So if you get someone like that, then don't waste your time. Then just instead don't. Whatever it is, there's only one absolute truth. And all the Vedas saying this is the peace about chain the holy name and avoid it just Anyway, even my own body is in me the chain like Krishna. But if you get someone who's really willing to listen, it's better one on one. If you got a whole group of myopadis then you know they're going to gain up on you. Otherwise followers recommended you can start asking them questions. What's your time? You just start asking questions. Nobody had any answer. If you ask certain questions, they'll certainly know that right to the point questions. And my bodies don't have the answer. That's another way of bringing it. You might have to think that my own babies. Your best bet is the seventh chapter was I discussing with the Picasso and the Sarah Swarthi and all the mayor bodies on earth. He gives all the main arguments very so simply at one point the problem he had to clean up that chapter as a separate book. Called it what Chaitanya and five features or something like that. Five features? Just that chapter. That chapter is especially all the defects of Ramada. Not all. There's one book by one of their followers called Mayo the Hundred defects of Mayo Body. There's all kinds of works out there. Myabad philosophy doesn't make any sense if you actually write about it. Somebody's already short circuited their exercises. Time to have a judge. When you feast the people they're the high court. Short circuited male bodies or just there's not everyone to talk to all day today. But everybody. All the disciples wanted to see me instead. She was very concerned because she had a group in India and see when there's a question. All because the guru praying in my body but is demanding Ashley. But that's such a powerful thing. Most of the gurus today are my allies that just like now touched by the lips of a poisonous serpent is not to be drink drum. Similarly, the lecture of pastimes of Lord Chaitanya for Krishna are not to be heard. Always twisted to their point of view. No, you can speak, but if somebody prefers to write it then you get a priority. During preaching for new people. Is there a specific step to preach? For example, will you tell them first then talk about Krishna and so on. The preaching is the sloka that says Kal Deshapatra. Time, place, circumstance. That you can't really separate that from preaching. Because preaching is like being a doctor. You want to give a medicine. You got all kinds of medicines, right? Doctor has some kinds of medicines that they can apply. But every patient is like different. Usually you go the easiest way first. Don't get into the big controversial points first. Try it the easy way. That's a moment. But if experiences start to run worse and perhaps you listen a little bit enough to know where the person is at, what their point of view is so that you can get the correct answer. If you don't listen a little bit to them and know what really they're doing, what their question is, what their doubts are, what their point of view is. When you just start speaking and you may be addressing a totally different point than what they were facing. Usually no. But if you want a general rule of thumb is to take the easiest points first. But there may be always exceptions. Maybe a person just has particular question. If you go through the summer routine, you're not the body, you're this person. You may miss the whole point. What their question is, what their doubt is. You may raise up good questions. So directly try to if you can address specific doubting first and then ask to bed. There's an ashta carving healer esoteric Ashtakal means that there's like in a day of 24 hours divide the day up by three hour segments. So three times three times eight is 24. So for every three hours there's a different place, a different villa that goes on. So some devotees when they become very Krishna conscious they meditate on the Lord this time of day he's doing this activity that day he goes into Radhakun and then he goes in this place. And I think there's a whole routine where he does in vain. So that's for Ashtaka you do. But it's not essential for us to know those things part of this material path. How can we do to like we ever get rid of that possible? Yes. When we live the entire world then you're lost in cell body within this body, in this lifetime of belief. Then your ego, real ego is there. I am the soul.
Gives really combination. Most of us being around here should be like thousands and thousands of lifetime soon. We like get probably second flashback the most closer to see a flashlight or similar. Most of us don't get that, you know, flashback. And every 100 years it's about 4 billion people die. 10% of that million people, 1% of that is 40 million people seem like only one or two people in dating. Question is, if the incarnation exists, should we make a couple of seconds of flashback? Remember that's one people who've been raps alone.
If reincarnation is visited, should we have flashbacks?
Couple seconds?
Yeah, couple second flashbacks. Why a couple seconds? A couple minutes or more. I think they don't. Most people do have what they call like I've been there, I've been here before feelings. How many of you ever had beisha vu? So that connection with the subconsciousness is there. But somebody asked you lapel one day remember our previous life. And then Prabhupada said that well you've already got so much Maya and so much distraction in your mind from this life. So if you can remember your previous life so you become much more comfortable. Even worse in my previous life, my wife, she did this to me. It was really bad, you know, like, you know, my husband cheated on me. Maybe this life, my husband cheated on me become a real psychosis. And subconsciously it is for some people. There was a lady who was always doubting her husband. This is the psychology case history. And the husband said, I'm honest. I'm really not messing around with anybody else. I'm not looking. I really love my wife. But she always doubting. So they took her to a psychologist and he did a. Couldn't find any reason why she was doubting, but she had this very intense paranoia. So then he took her in a regression where by hypnosis they can take a person to their previous life. And they said, now you're 14, 12, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Now you're back in the womb of your mother. Now you're in your previous life. Now speak to me in English and don't move. I tell people things like this, you know, sometimes they go through this leg. They start speaking other languages. They tell them what to do and not to move. They start freaking out sometimes. Anyway, so they took her back. And then she was in her previous life. She said she was in Scotland. She got married when she was 19. It was like that. I just, I remember all the details. It was like St. Mary, Ms. L shape should church, that's for sure. And. But then, you know, it took her a year after like this. Very soon after their marriage, for some reason the husband took off and left. And so that was the reason why she was always fearing that this husband would leave. That was his conclusion. Took her back. Wire up. Now here they had a little thing on video and they had, this time they had like Scotland's an old place, it's been around for years ago. So they went there and actually researched. Is there such a church in such a town? Should we have a name, her name or husband's name. So they found it was such a church. It was L shaped church. And the church had records going back for Iams. So then they checking the record, they found out that there was such a lady who married such a man at that time, you know, 18, whatever it was. So there's like all kinds of this. We had here a few years ago a parapsychologist, I don't care or psychologist. But he was, I think he was even a professor. He, I think he said he didn't perform 10,000 regressions. Imagine how long that took him to do. But he had so many case histories of taking people back. Regression ouv out of body oobs out of body experiences. Also he was talking about near death experience, different things. So he had all kinds of case histories that he was talking about. So there is like that. And also how do you explain how did this person know have this experience in this life? They were feeling fearful, happiness surrounds her. Legally she's paranoid all the time, always doubting. Then she takes her back and she has this experience and she says how she was deserving in her previous life. So there's this kind of evidence is also available. I know I had a disciple. I have a disciple who's quite good at regression. I wonder what South America and the Consul General of Peru. Why did he regress two people? Again, he was regressing people. So give me a time. So Nicole, you use that system. Everybody wants to. They can find out. One devotee told me that we rest and tell them that they were like a warrior in Rajasthan or something. They were there in some battle, fighting with some other Rajputs or something. So it's not like that watching TV or something. You're there. It's like a memory. You're there. You can smell the blood, you can smell the horses and the dust and the screaming and the emotions. You know you're reliving exactly what you were doing in some previous life. It was really heavy. So technical explanation or simple explanation. One thing is Prabhupada's just simple explanation of deductive knowledge that materially we come to conclusions based on our experience. So that has certain limitations. They say that you see every swan you see is white. Solar is ones. You've seen 100,000 swans everywhere. You've seen swans and they're all white. So you deduct that, okay, swans are white. You never went to the Rhine river or wherever it is. Somewhere in Germany they have actually black swans. All of a sudden you see a black swan. Your whole deductive reasoning is disprove. So material knowledge, it's always limited. You're never 100% sure because it's based on what you're observing. Just like what's in here. The FDA or whatever, the Food and Drug Administration, their food medicine. So they'll make some company test you know how many thousands or hundreds of people. And then after testing with nothing shows up wrong. Then okay, they give a permission. But then after some time when it goes in the market and millions of people are taking it, then they find that for every 100,000 people, 16 people go blind. They get paralyzed to get Bohemia or Semitic. Withdraw the medicine from the shelter. You're never 100% sure. You're just deducting based on what you're observing. So the more people you observe, there's always the possibility that, well, there's some other situation that you didn't know about. Where spiritual knowledge is called inductive reasoning. Where we are getting the truth from the actual truth itself. So it's being handed down by the sibling succession and therefore inductible. Let me get the explanation why something's happening. Simple example that maybe there's a noise upstairs. So we start thinking what's happening? You know, some of, you know, we start speculating. Maybe somebody's playing ping pong, playing golf. You go upstairs, you find that somebody is sick and they had athletic fit and heads. Because you're speculating, you don't know what's going on. You go up and then you find out. Somebody comes, tells you what's happening. So that's inductive. Somebody just tell you from experience, but in this sense it's from a transcendental experience. So it's actually why we think that if you see it, it's to believe it. But that's not necessarily so. People living in an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, they would see the sun come out of the ocean in the morning from the east, and they would see it set in the ocean in the west. So they deducted that the sun is born from the ocean, dies from the ocean, reborn every day. That's all they can see. They don't see anything else. That was their experience. So whether we actually somebody from a broader perspective, someone who has transcendental knowledge, they can hand that down and that's actually reliable. To get the knowledge, start subject to the four defects of material observers. That there is perfect senses that they're liable to cheat, that they are subject to illusion and to make mistakes. Another question. These are the people who are trying to achieve liberation are considered more the people that do devotional service out of anger, revenge. I'm going to be a veteran of what I'm going to come up to El. I'm going to show that guy I'm the best devotee in this ashram. So that's like the motive. There is like kind of anger. And somebody says, I'm going to do devotional service because I want to get that. I want, I want to, through devotional service so I can get the blessings of Krishna to become the king of Timbuktu. So that's devotional service mixed with passion. And somebody who does a devotional service because they want liberation or they want. Does that mean though this becomes like an immortal type, witness not harming anybody else, not something that's. If somebody wants to serve Krishna because they want to please Krishna. It says there's unlimited permeations of mixed emotion. Just like if you mix primary colors of yellow, red and blue, you get millions of colors. So you mix these different desires with devotional service. You get so many different shades of color that doesn't satisfy the heart. But pure devotional service is only one kind. How many here want pure devotional service? Thank you very much. Prabhupada is the Jagad Guru of the universe. And he is the pure representative of Krishna. The only way to obtain pure devotional service is by studying him through Imishkon. In this lifetime, in this Next let's say 10,000 years. We don't present things in that kind of absolute way. We rather say it in a more positive way that as you said, one should perform devotional service purely pure devotional service. Problem was a pure devotee he presents presented the process of pure devotional service ideal way in a practical way practice in this time. So if you want to achieve pure devotional service, you're sure to be able to achieve that. If you follow shrink all kinds teachings to say that well, there's no other pure devotee, you don't have a specific setback. He may have other God brothers and other Vaishnavas. Then we have to judge whether they appear or not. We don't just make a category state a bunch of. We're the only people that remember to hear his holiness. Because it's open for anybody to be a period of only they follow the scriptures if they follow Hindus and shires. So we're not saying that the Brahma never made the kind of statement we're the only way in that sense. For another sense, he said that if you want to be Ka conscious without practicing Ka following what you tell me, following the outside of the Ka consciousness movement, then you're hallucinating. He also said so because practically were at that time where was everybody else? Practically. But at the same time you don't make such kind of absolute value statements. Nobody can ever do Krishna kind this practical. It's more of a practice. I'm not theoretically somebody who reads the scriptures theoretically, but. But practically they can't unless they have a born of Saiyan guru and so many other tactics. But otherwise says one can by chanting Hare Krishna. They can't achieve perfection even without going through all the formal processes of initiation. Or Samskaras. But generally one needs to have. That's just verifying that the holy name is powerful enough that it could deliver something. Say that somebody that wants books in Eskimo land or somewhere, I don't know somewhere where there's no devois out in the middle of the Antarctica some place where there's just no devois. I don't know where the place is. But they read Kra's books, they follow the instructions, they searching then there's no reason why they going to get back to Krishna also. But saying that they're in such a place and they're struggling, they're going to figure it out and get confused. Krishna sends them a guru. Krishna sends them someone to help him without a false ego. I don't need anybody. I'll do it on my own and reject that person. And that's considerable offensive. So the holy man has the power whether the person can understand it, whether they apply it. In most cases Krishna sends some help because although the holy name has the power but you're much safer. It's recommended that one should have a root. What's the problem with saying that? Sometimes they say my God brothers and sometimes he says well it's not my God brothers, they're preacher. They're trying, you know, they're not doing so much. But he would appreciate this one that one were also trying to preach. You know, principles are absolute. Don't follow those principles. If I also apply the principles of the US we follow in his footsteps, we're going to achieve that good results. Anybody is always free to follow the same principles. What is stopping them? So if they do, they are also following Prabhupada. In one sense Prabhupada is following within your sachari practically that you have to see who's actually following. We personally have confidence that Prabhupada gave the best way. We're trying to convince the other missions and other organizations to come align with Prabhupada's vision. That's the safest way to somebody's empties. Somebody's envious against God's mind. It Would you explain the difference between a teacher guru and a teacher guru? Various devotees instructors. These are your first devotees that instruct you, show you the way he makes you help you become convinced about practising Krishna conscious there usually called the bhaktam of Darshana gurus, gurus of flowing away. Then you get some instruction from different gurus and you see the guru that gets the most instruction. There are many Sikhsha gurus that are giving instructions, they give instruction amongst them. Usually the one that gives the most instruction becomes the Kisha group. It's up to the disciple to decide who they want to take Yishika that's their. Then they take initiation from one of their Seasha gurus. They take initiation and then that person becomes a d Shiva. So he takes a commitment to see that the disciple gets back to Krishna with a contract or counting it if the disciple does think with that may have to come and come back again even to get the disciple. Or somehow he has to manage to get the disciple back. And that the patient were under normal traditional circumstances is concerned be the primary guru and other Sikhsha gurus assist him to get the disciple back. There may be some exceptional circumstances where the Diksha guru authorized somehow Sikhsha guru is authorized to be the primary shelter guru. But that's like normally just a statutory arrangement as the diction words instead of the family roots when everybody else helps. Now some of our Sikhnagurus may also voluntarily take their very big responsibility. Some take more, some take less just the river than the sanctions voluntarily. If a Sikhshet guru gives an instruction to a disciple and the disciple follows him because they're following him, they accrue some bad karma or something. The instruction wasn't correct, it wasn't a good instruction. The Sikh guru is responsible for that. He is liable to get reactions. But otherwise if the disciple just in the ordinary course of their their daily activities they start to break principles or they accrue some bad karmas or something. It's the DK Guru who has to take their responsibility. Siksha Buddha's responsibility and strikes when the Diksha guru's got total responsibility for what's happening with this. That's why Prabhupada said once that if a disciple disobeys the guru or breaks the principles and then he's considered a guru duty a killer of a guru. So being a six year guru is less of a karmic implications. But we're still responsible for whatever the sheet of response wherever he or she of strengths. In some cases it functions like additional with says that somebody gives up a bono find his spiritual master and takes rejects one thing spiritual mass. You won't get another one for 10 million births. There was one time there was this hitay God who took some initiation took initiation from some Vajravasi guru and was doing as Prabhupada a little bit gives these Krishna conscious wise. Then Prabhupada banned him. Said he's just become a saint, come to the temple. And then one Kame Prabhupada said he won't get a bona fide guru for 200,000 a day. Then people said like wow, that's heavy. Said no, I reduced it. Normally it's supposed to from 10 million to 200,000. 2% discount.
Okay, this is a controversial question regarding this. But I had a question before. I don't know what to ask. For example. Okay, for example, sometimes once one has a strong desire.
Strong. Here's some feathers. Does anybody here like to help prepare for tomorrow's offering? There's some things which can be cut now. Does the loudspeaker work in the kitchen anymore? No.
Nice strong spiritual desires. Like for example, say oh, I'd like to go to my home, be completely absorbed in devotional service, leave my body. And this is a desire that is compatible with the desires of guru or mission. Because emotions allows us to go to the spirit of being complete abyssal devotional service. So why it happens that sometimes doesn't really manifest, you know, desire. And there are so many activities in the process of creation consciousness that can satisfy these desires if they are bona fide. So why sometimes they take forever or they don't have?
Well, because someone may have so many bona fide desires. But Krishna may have his own plan also. We don't know what Krishna's plan is. He had another plan. It's like I said. Prabhupada was happy to remain at his house or something. But then he was reminded that he had to carry out the order of his guru so that will finally interact with him there. Or maybe somebody's happy to remain in Vrindavan. Nice place. But then we need to go out and preach spirit Krishna consciousness. Thank you for watching our videos.
