29.
Manchas I have manifested the false ego, the three modes of material nature, the five material elements, the individual consciousness, the eleven senses, and the material body similar to the entire universe. It's come from the supreme personality of Madhead Purport. What are these translations? Yes, the Supreme Lord is described as Mahat Pada, which means that the total mutual energy known as the Mahat Tattva is lying at its lotus feet. The origin or the total energy of the cosmic manifestation is the Mahatatra. From the Mahatatva all the other 24 divisions have sprung, namely the 11 senses including the mind, the five sense objects, the five mature elements, and then consciousness, intelligence, and false ego. The supreme personality of God is the coarser, the Mahatatva, and therefore in one sense everything is an emanation from the Supreme Word. There is no difference between the Lord and the cosmic manifestation, but at the same time the cosmic manifestation is different than the Lord. The word Sorat is very significant here. Sorat means independent. The Supreme Lord is independent and the individual soul is also independent. Although there is no comparison between the two qualities of independence, the living entity is minutely independent and the Supreme Lord is fully independent. As the individual soul has an eternal body made of five elements and the senses, the supreme independent Lord similarly has the gigantic body of the universe. The individual body is temporary. Similarly, the entire universe, which is considered to be the body of the Supreme Lord, is also temporary and both the individual and universal bodies are products of the Mah Tattva. One has to understand the difference with intelligence. Everyone knows that his material body has developed from a spiritual spark and similar universal body has developed from the supreme spark. Super Soul as the individual body develops from the individual soul, the gigantic body of the universe develops from the supreme soul. Just as the individual soul has consciousness, the supreme Soul is also conscious. But although there is a similarity between the consciousness of the Supreme Soul and the consciousness of the individual soul, the individual soul's consciousness is limited, whereas the consciousness of the supreme Soul is unlimited. This is described in Bhagavad Gita 13.3 Chaturang Kyam Cha Vimang and Heat. The super soul is present in every field of activity, just as the individual soul is present in the individual body. Both of them are conscious. The difference is that the individual soul is conscious of the individual body only, whereas the super soul is conscious of the total number of individual bodies. Thus end the Bhaktivedanta Swami Charity. Translation from court our Canto 3, chapter 32 text 29 in the matter of the Shimad Bhagavatam, in the matter of entanglement and fruitive activities. So Prabhupada has made here a very interesting comparison. That we are eternal and the Lord is eternal. We enter into the material world and the Lord also enters into the material world. We have a material body and the Lord has a material body. He has a material body that the whole universe is his material body, universal form. And our material body is this body of 11 senses and so many other items. Your name is Malika. Malika. Malika wants to know what are the 11 senses. Yes, because you know the five knowledge gathering senses. Seeing, tasting, smelling, feeling, hearing and touching. Feeling. Well, feeling and touching. Okay, but touching is more accurate. And feeling could be also feeling, a mental sense. So touching. And there's also five senses of action. Then there's the mind.
Action, action.
Like creativity, like using your hand. I need help on this one. Because you're not using so much. It's like chewing. Chewing and eating. And there's like your hands and the legs and then there's the whole is the evacuation of separate things. Yeah, Genital and the genital and the genitals.
On the senses.
Physical senses, you can say physical senses. And that subdivided into 11. The five knowledge gathering plus the mind and then the five action.
Five actions with the mind and with the body.
Five knowledge gathering. No problem, right? You have five knowledge gathering. Yes, we have the mind.
Happy? The roof should be on the. So that's why.
So there's different ways you can describe different things. So in this way it shows in this verse quite uniquely the similarities. The difference of supreme Lord is always totally independent. When we are controlled by the wants of nature. When we're in this material world, we are good controls. Are you Krishna?
Yeah.
Is that enough? We get controlled by the material nature through the three laws of nature. Goodness, passion, ignorance. That's why those persons who are in the material conditional life are called conditioned souls or padajiv. Eternally bound. Nitya badas. Eternally bound in this material world. We are forced to remain in the material world. Life after life, birth after birth, taking birth again and again and again, following our different material desires. But if we want to leave, we can. But it's not like automatic, like you always just glance at the paper. There was some crazy thing in England, I think some guy locked up a girl for nine years in his apartment. Just kept her locked up. It's called the House of Terrors or maybe the silos England or so on. Anyway, Japan In Japan. And so anyway, the thing was he was whether he should get 11 years or 15 years or more. But according to the Japanese law, whatever your maximum thing you did wrong, you should get one and a half times that. If there's multiple, that's an accident you can get. So when you do a crime in the material world, like in modern society, you get a certain period then after letting come out of jail. But when we're running to the material world, this material world is also a hissing house, but there's no automatic release. It's not like you're here for 8,437,000,000,000,000, and boom, you're going to crowd, you're going to hear forever until you want to leave. And then you take the methods which are approved by Christian how to get out. It's not an automatic thing, but if you want to, you can get out even in one lifetime. You can get out at the end of this lifetime if you want to. But then it's not just wanting to. A lot of people want to, but wanting to and then acting on that. Even in India, I was asking just recently, I said, how many people want to take another birth? Nobody raised their hand. How many want to make this their last? But how many are doing anything about it? And most people, they don't want to take another breath, but they're not also doing anything to stop it. Because if we understand what is it that's bringing us back again and again, it's because we're identifying with ourselves. As his body, Krishna has a material body, if you want to call it the universe, as his material body, he also has his real form as his eternal Satchitananda Rupa, that's actually him. But he also has a material universal form, the difference of Krishna. He's never an illusion. He always knows who he is. But when we're in this material world, we think I am this body. We're seeing as reading this verse how we have. We have. There's a breast in the Bhava Gita says how are colored like an ear is covered by dust, or like a fire is covered by smoke, or like an embryo in the womb. We have different levels of covering. So when we're animals, like totally covered, they don't have a clue that they're not the body. You couldn't try to convince a dog you are not a dog. This is a woman related to what we were talking about. But then. So they're like, then you have people who are human beings and they have more intelligence, but within the human beings, you have some who are somewhat intelligent and some who are really also in the modes, in the lower modes. But even people who are very much in the mode of passion and ignorance, there's a little glimmer of like smoke in the fire. This little fire is sometimes the culture. Different things tend to bring them into an awareness about their spiritual nature. Then those who are more enlightened, they're just ripe to be awakened and to realize their eternal spiritual nature, just have to clean the mirror. The chanting of Hare Krishna is the process to cleanse the consciousness, to cleanse the dust of the mirror, of the consciousness, so that we can see things as they are. This is how we have human beings kind of also atonement, ignorance. And human beings somehow are really identifying themselves only as the body. And as most of them default, then we have people have this glimmer that they're not the body, that there's something higher, but they just tend to act on the bottling platform. There are people who actually understand that there are a higher spiritual truth, but still they choose to act only for or primarily for gratifying their senses. That's just a decision. Even Hiranyakashipu, he was a demon, but he knew that he was an eternal soul. But he didn't believe in God and he wanted to. His idea was that we're eternal souls, we have a body, we should enjoy life through the body. That was his Virat life. But he knew that he was an eternal soul. That much knowledge, even though he writes a big deal. We have so many people today that they just don't understand that they're not. That there's something higher than the body. Then you have people who are awakened to their I am the body, and they want to liberate themselves, but they don't have so much information exactly how to do it. They may practice Jnana Yoga, or they may practice mystical yoga. Now those who actually practice Bhakti Yoga or the Yoga of Parisha, then they are on the fast track and can get elevated even in this one birth. But to do that, then you need to start to act as the servant of Ka. In the spiritual world where everybody's liberated, everybody is conscious about the supreme personality of God and Ka and serving Ka with different forms. Even while we're in the material world, we start serving Ka with all our senses and mind, with our thoughts and words and our activities. With the right soul. We start to develop a passion for Ka that awakens our natural love for Ka. And then love pulls Us back to Krishna through different kinds of people on different levels. So we trying to awaken up the people who are wanting to get back and just don't know how are people that if they knew there was this option to go back, they probably want to go back to Krishna. But to serve Krishna, Most people, they don't know about these options. There are some people who are that even no matter what, they just want to. They're opposed to Krishna, opposed to the supreme personality of Gandhi. So that type of person generally the Madhyamakara or might become, they're not really sective, very diabolical type of people. So the other example Prabhupada gave is that we are conscious about what goes on in our body, but Ka is conscious what's going on in everybody. So inconceivable how expanded his consciousness is. And Brahma, who is the creator of the internal aspects of the universe, the elements and the raw materials are given, are created by Ka. But then it's all put together in different forms and planets by species of life and things by Brahma. It says that in the Vedas, the Brahma is actually conscious of what's going on throughout the universe to a large degree. He's got a universal consciousness as the creator of the universe. There was a Puranic story that once there was a yogi who was really infatuated by Brahma. And he wanted to understand what it was like to see things from the point of view of Brahma.
So.
He was worshipping Lord Brahma again. Brahma gave him a Viking rest day ago, a blessing. So he said, I'd like to have for even a moment. I'd like to be able to see things the way you see them. I want to be in Brahman consciousness. My Brahma says, I don't know how that works. I have a special body. I don't know what happened to somebody else sees the things that I see from another body. So it may be very dangerous. So I don't care. But I want to see things from Brahma consciousness. I want to see whatever you're experiencing. I want to experience that. So Lord Brahma said, okay, two days at midnight, or there was something 12. You're going to have see things. All the things that I see. You're going to get that vision with your own risk. So he had time to prepare himself for his departure. And he was meditating on the final day. He was coming down to the Maya like a lunch pad. 1 hour, 30 minutes, 10 minutes, 1 minute, 10 seconds, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, pow. So when he got the Brahma consciousness in his minute human brain, it completely exploded and burst. It was like plastic. It was finished, finished. He was dead, dead, dead, dead. His entire brain exploded with so much information that Brahma has. But because he died in Brahma consciousness, he reincarnated in the planet of Lord Brahma.
Could he not let it flow?
The human mind, how much information you can hold? You know, Brahman's got so much information, it's like trying to pack in a little laptop, you know, some huge. But it flew, he flew right out of this planet, up to the planet of Lord Brahman. You have to be careful. Sometimes people want some far out material things. It's not really practical. If somebody wants, maybe somebody like, why don't you say anything from the point of view of Krishna, we can't. It's not possible. We can serve Ka. We can see things up to our capacity. We have a capacity, our capacity as up to being up to the level of Brahma. That's how much we can see in this material world. We don't yet be born as a Brahma to get a Brahma body. Then we can see things as a Brahma. Brahma has four heads in our universe and some other universe has ten heads, a hundred heads, a thousand heads is a multitask. I can have computers with multiple Central processing and CPUs and I can do more things. Multiple heads are doing things simultaneously.
Is it a nice explosion head? I also sometimes had tattoo though and I feel a lot of vibration in my head and a lot of around.
Yeah, well if we cannot, we don't recommend doing what that Yogi did. Just saying it's not really probably the best thing to desire but because at that moment he was in the Brahman consciousness. So whatever we're thinking about when we die, when we leave, if a death means we're leaving this body, that's what we achieve. So somebody is thinking about their dog when they die, they take birth as a dog. If they're thinking about Brahma when they die, they achieve that. Obviously in this case there wasn't a vacancy, but they could achieve a birth in the pantheon. Brahma, we think about Ka when we die. We don't become Ka when we go to the pandemic Krishna. So we shall prepare ourselves when we want to think about when we leave. Of course that Yogi didn't know he's going to die. You know what's going to happen. We just want to so much preoccupied with the idea to have consciousness, to see things from a Brahman point of view. Just like Maithaya Rishi. He wanted to know what was illusion. So he asked Krishna for the blessing, the Raihari Rishi, to know what is might. But he was sitting in his ashram meditating. And then one day, all of a sudden, Prayam came and his whole ashram started to fill up with water. It was like a universal flood. Even though he was on top of a mountain, the whole planet, everything got filled with water. He was swept away. And the floods, huge timingala fish were there, Gigantic, bigger than whales. He's being kicked around in the waves. Wow, what is this? And he sees Krishna, huge banyan tree on one leaf of the banyan tree. And he's like a little baby sucking his toe. And then Krishna breathes in. He breathes in and he breathes Maitreya Rishi in with his breath. And he's back in his ashram. Everything's dry, everything's like it was before. I said, wow, what's happened? Then Krishna breathes out. He's back in the flood waters again. So Krishna is showing him what his illusion is. That it's so perfect that when we're in it, it just looks as real as convenient because we're amidst complete illusion. Recently Sanath Putta Prabhu wrote a book. He gave me a copy of Babakti Siddhartha Maharaj Bharat took it from me called Maya, where he writes in. I didn't get a chance to read it, but he told me that he wrote from the scientific community, people who are more like into the scientific nomenclature about what is this mutual illusion or Maya. And using all the terms, the modern, you know, the terms of virtual reality, such. I don't read it to tell you perfectly, but something along that line, something very scientifically scientific but almost written like a fictional work where you can understand what is life. So Krishna creates this illusion. We're in the illusion, but the devotees, they want to serve Ka because it doesn't make any sense to just serve the illusion. It doesn't make any sense to allow ourselves to be controlled by these material illusions and drag around, sometimes suffering, sometimes temporarily happy, going through this whole sequence of suffering and enjoyment. But we can be eternally happy serving Ka. We can be eternally in bliss in Ka consciousness, which is our natural position. So liberated souls, they don't try to enjoy their material illusion. They use material energy in the service of Ka. By doing that, they don't get entangled in the complexities of the lucid. So the devotees, although they're in this material body because they do things in the way that Ka has provided them, you do this way, you won't get entangled. So they do everything present in other processes of yoga. It's not the same ease that one can get. Liberation says you have to renounce the world to become a sannyasi, to get moksha. And that's also the impersonal moksha or the mystic. Yogis, after many, many births, are meditating in pranayama on samadhi, they can realize the soma. But of all the practitioner of Bhakti Yoga, whether he's in a marriage or whether he's or she is the practice, they can achieve full realization.
In our.
Own lifetime focused on doing that. So that's a really wonderful aspect of Bhakti Yoga. We need to become yogis. Krishna again and again told that become a yogi, by all means be a yogi. Yogi means to be linked up with Ka, not to do things just for some illusory reason, to do things for the right reason, to do it for the pleasure of Ka. That's why Bharati yoga is called Yoga of Intelligence. Because we use our intelligence how to use everything for Ka under the guidance of the guru, under the guidance of the scriptures, under the following example of great souls. By doing that, then we don't get entangled in the laws of karma. And as we get more and more purified and become fixed in our Ka consciousness and we can help many other people to get out of the illusion also. So today we're having the. And also hope to come for the Amsterdam, our patron. 9th of August.
Yeah.
More difficult, but maybe it's about three different Arthur's in the particular day, September 20th. I don't know exactly why, but seems a lot of demand for that day. Rio de Janeiro has a Rathcat Antwerp. There's also some festival on that weekend and.
Oh, nice.
So.
Rath Yatra is a great opportunity to serve the lords. Normally in order to serve the Lord at Bujaris here they're initiated and they have to do any preliminary training to be able to worship the Lord. But Jagannath Rath Yantra, he gives some facility for everyone to do some worship. Some unique types of worship. Rope pulling worship, pulling the rope and pulling the Lord on his cart. So that's also a type of worship. Periodically you can make a picture of the people sitting here. I did one time in Iran and you get the opportunity to chant and dance before the Lord, to offer prayers many times the people offer offerings, especially in some parts of India. People love to come with a plate and offer fruits and flowers and camp for money. Incense, then that's offered to the Lord and they give it back up a little bit of 100% a portion, maybe one third a half of a dow. The food part of it, they make that. So it's. The streets are narrow. So there's some kind of. Like in Australia. Could it only be about. It was quite narrow. It's like less than two meters or two and a half meters wide. So it's like long and narrow. Because of their traffic rules, the vehicle could only be so wide. But in Jaguar Point, I don't have any such restrictions. It's gigantic. Jagannathus has. I think it's something like 15 wheels. 16 and 16. And then all around is what, 14. And they don't have any steering wheel. Well, sometimes the rod goes this way and that way. So they have. They put some wooden blocks under one side of the wheel and then that makes the other wheels turn like this. But sometimes they don't do it proper so accurately because it's kind of a crude way of turning. And sometimes it heads right towards the side. One time someone told me hit one of the electric poles. So they don't. Juggernaut cannot go backwards. So then the government came in and took out the electric poles. It's like there the road is for Juggernaut. If he goes into a house, what happens? Our Jagannaths in the west were more flexible. Sometimes we have to back up and turn around and do so many things. But we have telescopic tops so we can go out with wires. Sometimes there's wires there. All the wires are taken out. In Coimbatore, with his fan rod, they take out all the. They have so many wires running across the road. So they take all the wires out for four hours. Everybody. Nobody has electricity for four hours. And we go around the three kilometer route. Once a year, they do that. Where is it? Coimbatore, South India.
And why they do that?
For Jagannath to go. What for the Lord of the universe to go. On his possession, he has a big chariot where a big car goes high in the air so that wires are blocking his passage. They must take out their wires. He not stops his supreme Lord from going on his journey. So we have this consciousness in India. People don't mind working at least once a year. My got no electricity for a few hours and dragged them to be going by my house. So they all come out and worship the Lord. Different kind of consciousness. So there's an opportunity to do all different kinds of services. And in the west, so much service like getting permits, car fitness permit, procession permit, microphone permit, permit for using the park or the square or wherever the sometimes you may know you get fire permits. It's like so many permanent site and it's like this. So for months and months ahead of the Rathyatra that's one service that somebody that's always running around get all the. I don't think Jagannath and Jagannath Puri needs a permit, but other places you have to get a permit. So then there's prasad distribution in Birmingham on 10th August had to go to Birmingham for their Rathyatra. And the mayor of Birmingham he came to the Rathyatra as a deputy mayor and he spoke and said we're very happy that ISKCON is putting on this radiator. It's the cultural variegatedness of our city. So then we asked him that it's our tradition that the head of Puri sweeps the robe with a broom. And then he said, well, as the mayor I don't normally have to sweep the roads. I have other employees that do that. But for your cultural program here, I'm happy to participate in this. So he took the golden broom and he was sweeping. He got so into it for 45 minutes he just kept sweeping all the Rath is moving on. It's quite nice. And the government there gives a 2,000 pound grant for the festival. And they give the Rathya to enter the city square and there they let the devotees use the parking lot inside the mayor's office, the municipality for cooking the food for life Passam. So they're in there with this thing cooking up and then taking an hour distributing the faith asylum to thousands of people in Birmingham town square. Then they usually have an interfaith program where they invite heads of different religions to come bring their program. The Archbishop of Birmingham sends a message to felicitating the Rath Yatra. The Buddhist head comes and different religious heads come. So they make it take advantage of the Rath Yatra to create a lot of links with the community. What we're doing is something which is relevant to everybody's chains Sculptural and in South Africa, Durban. The Rath Yatra is quite amazing. It's for four days and they distribute 200,000 plates of Vikrasara. They have cooking at their temple. They have 108 Kundas cooking leg and they have these special stainless Steel pots which have a base about this wide. And then they come up like an inverted funnel. And the mouth is maybe this big. So they cook the prasadam in these pots. And I talked to one lady, we had all worked out how many kilos of rice, how many kilos of down humming kilos of sabjis and vegetables and beans, other special different kinds of beans. The Africans like beans, black beans, red beans, black eyed beans. So they have beans and they cook up this special kitchri which is called durani. It's not exactly a kitcher. It's like a kitchen, but it's like spices. Rice with vegetables and things. But more rice and vegetables and less dao, more beans and things. Probably have birami B I R Y A M I biryan with some spicing in it with some turmeric, tamarind and a little sour sauce. Then they also cook a dal, poppers and halva. That's the menu they give out for 200,000 people. So they're cooking all night and then in the same pots they have four guys lifting it up with bamboos or sticks, carry it over and put it into the fill up quarries. Big semi trucks piled high with all these prashadams. And then they carry that down to the rat site. And all day long they're serving in the same pots. It keeps hotter that way. They already know how many people they feed is everybody gets a spoon. So they keep track of how many thousands of spoons they give out every day. So on Sunday goes Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, over one of those long weekends. They have about 30 different tents. Two question answer tents, a temple tents, different smaller tents. Like they have a tent for cow protection with a cow and a calf. And they have one Hari Nam tent. They go and tent 108 times running around like in Mayapur, and get a certificate. They have tent for some different projects. The congregation comes out and helps man all these different tents. They have one big top that holds 10,000 people sitting in chairs. The whole festival, I don't know how much, cost 50 to €100,000 to do it, but they make also a lot of money. They have three Persona. They also have a restaurant table. People come and buy prasada. They have a air conditioned tent, take prasad with nice tables. And they have snacks that you can also get pizzas and samosas and all kinds of snacks. Somehow they put on fireworks two nights and they spent like $5,000 for the fireworks. It's like world class fireworks. Thousands and thousands of people, tens of thousands of people, maybe 100,000 people all on the beach to watch the Hare Krishna Jagannatharatiyata fireworks. Durban, South Africa on the beachfront.
Then.
In the Western world. I think that's the biggest Rathyatra. I mean there's Los Angeles has going to be 50,000 people. But it's like one day and it's over at 6 o'. Clock. They're turning everything down. So it's like from 12 to 6, lot of people, nice place. But boom. Here it stays on for four days. 12 noon till 10 o' clock at night, every day. Then I just coming now from Calcutta, we have a Magdalen Rath Yatra. It's the longest Rath yatra I think in Jagannath. The same day, exactly parallel with Jagannath and Puri Jagannath goes out, we go out and then the police are saying you got to finish by 5 o'. Clock. But it's not like you got mortars and things. You know, people pull faster, slower. It's at 6:20. So they wrote us a letter. You were late. We have a campsite. We take the babies from our temple. We take them to the North Calcutta and we go to the all the center road, main road. We reach next to the Victoria memorial in the main park of the city and we're there for nine days. We build about 20 meter high temple out of cloth and decorating things. And Jaganna Bodhisubhada Sudarshan Chakra stay there. People come and do worship. We have an air conditioned VIP lounge for ministers and for major donors who come. They have another life member lounge. They have two tents with a capacity of a thousand teach the chairs. One is for lectures, another one is for cultural programs, lectures, functions, speeches. They give awards to the students. Fire minister came, mayor came, the people came.
Is it the temple community?
They make a camp in the city park. Nine days.
All of nine days.
They have a fire yagya. They have Prashant distribution. They also give about 30 to 50,000 plates of name for just Kishmi. Then they have a cell, Prasadam Jagannath, traditional prasadam vadus, kajas, halva and Kishri. Then we have another one where they just open up a bakery where they sell cakes, pizzas, baked samosas. A youth booth for the youth. They have a booth for the Nam Hata. They have a booth for book distribution, big one for books. They have all different kinds of booths. So all the congregation comes out and helps a man do different booths have a life membership. Both they have an exhibition on Lord Krishna's and Chaitanya's pastimes. And they have three floats. The raths are three gigantic raths. Full signs in the front. There's floats. This year they had Das Avatar, they had Jarikanda and they had one other float. So the whole procession is about a kilometer long. Sometimes it stretches up to 2km and then it's 1 and it goes 7km from the beginning to the end. 6, 7. And there's hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people from the. Because not everybody goes the whole length. I mean, maybe 30, 40,000 go from beginning to end the same people. But people join pull for it. 10, 20 minutes and go off. And new people come. So any given moment you can see about 100, 200,000 people on the road pulling. And those people are continually recycling. Recycle program. And then we're there for the nine days. Then the first day we have an evening program. And every day we have from 4 in the afternoon until 10 o' clock at May. And then all day long the puja is going on for Jagannath. People come and meditate, Darshan a few people. And then on the ninth day we have the return rock where the Devi goes to the sun. Go through South Kalpaka and go back to the temple. The Germans tents are bigger and maybe more. Maybe fancier tents. But the calculus more people in the Rath Yatra and equally as many people get free prasada. And the rath's longer for nine days. So festival are the overall Kathya wins? Depends. Some areas they went, some areas Durban might win. I was at the Los Angeles the afternoon there they have the deities taken in portable limousines. One for Jagannath, one for Baladi, one for Sutta. They have the police. I have pictures of police over here. These big American Harley Davidson. I don't know, maybe the Yamaha or something like that type of gigantic motorcycle. The police motorcycle with the sirens and helmets. So they go in front and they block all the roads, stop the traffic. He goes straight down to the beach and these limousine convertibles. People can see Jay Lud running limousine up to the rat site. And then they put him on the rats and he goes on the beach from Santa Monica beach to Venice Beach. Yes, Santa Monica.
Santa Monica.
To Venice. Venice beach is known as Muscle Beach. So the guys pronounce that Muscle Beach. So they can all they see. I saw some guys big muscles coming and pulling the rod.
So they can.
Give a dog tell their muscles. Same thing for everybody, right?
After lecture.
Yeah, after personal I sit out there. Amazing.
Oh, absolutely amazing.
So any.
So interesting.
Any questions? Not personal, only class.
Thank you.
Can we also call.
That's not really to do with the class. There's going to be today den ha and the 9th of August here in Amsterdam. You must attend both. The more Rathyatras you attend, you get super bonus mercy. Where everywhere mercy is flowing. But here they'll tell you. Sorry, the details. Oh, you don't need super mercy.
No super mercy.
No.
No. Krishna gives so much mercy. Any questions?
Yes, but Rathayatra, we had a plan with a few devotees to invite His Royal Highness Prince William of Wales to attend the festivities surrounding the Rathayatra in London. Of course we didn't succeed but then we planned to invite him for next year. And who is the highest ranking official ever to attend Rathiatra anywhere in the world? Were these as mayors or ministers?
Well, in Durban they had the President of the country who's now president. When he was the Vice President he came to the Rathyat camp. And I don't know if there's ever been a President. I know the Vice President of India came. So that's kind of the same rank here. Vice president was Prince Charles. Maybe like that. Right. I mean in India the President and the Vice President are like King of England kind of. But of course they're not for life, at least for five years. But they're not. They're constitutional heads. Instead of a monarch, they have this president and he's elected by the parliament, upper and lower house and all the state legislatures of India, they have some kind of electoral powers. They elect the President. So that way His Majesty is supposed to be above the political frame. So the Vice president came. I don't know. It was interesting. Put it on the Internet and find out what's the topic. But those just. There's probably a head of state somewhere that came to somewhere the King of Puri comes, which I love Puri, but he's not acting. Definitely has a political price tag. But very appreciate.
How seriously should we take the statement in the scriptures that when you pull the ropes then your liberation is guaranteed. Something like that. Is that correct? My understanding. Correct. I heard something like that.
If you pull Jagannath, just by pulling the Lord's chariot, you can be liberated.
How is that? Why?
Because you're pulling the Lord. You're doing a personal service for the Lord. You're acting like there's no horses. You're acting like the Lord's horse. So by doing a personal service for the Lord, he Doesn't forget you, doesn't say when you'll be liberated. But there's no guarantee we're going to be deliberated normally suddenly in my class. So we're here eternally. You pull the one you know, you're definitely guaranteed to be liberated. But if somebody's really determined that they want to stay in the material world a few more times, I don't know when will help Krishna adjust that. And some people are not ready to be liberated, but they're going to be liberated. Those that want to be. They'll be very quickly liberated. Those who don't want to be prepared for their getting their liberation for doing that service.
Thank you.
These are personal service. It's like say some very important person's car broke down. He went and pushed the car. Now there's all modern cars. You can't actually push them Instagram. But it used to be you could push styles instead. All the gears and everything. So powerful. I don't think it works like that. Someone told me you can't push cards anymore. I don't know. And then you can still push it. So say you did something like that. You helped the person save their life. Obviously they'd be very grateful. So you do a meaningful service to Krishna. He never forgets. You're linked. Okay, thank you. So by hookah, by cooking. Everybody come and pull the car and take some prasada. You're bringing the temple to the street.
Sa.
The Lord was liable. Oh, I have a machine oil. Who wants to the shing oil? Feel the back of your hand. Put it on your forehead. Thank you. Got a couple extra miles from. These are the name.
Oh, and what does it mean?
It means Malika is one of the persons who makes flower garlands for Krishna in the spiritual world.
Oh, really?
Oh, Mala, this is Amala.
Who makes it.
Say always the Lord here. The he always wearing this flower garland. So you're the person who makes the garland cutoff seed.
Good. And I received this wonderful letter from you last year. And then I did so much stories. I didn't write back because I was waiting that I make a little bit announcement. But it was so inspiring. And we did after that we did so much program because you wrote about all these festivals. And then we did our best to make big festivals like that.
The bodies are coming up from Antwerp. What do they have? There was two that want to get second exchange. Who are they? She has.
She has?
Yeah, she has.
No, maybe you and Sarai, you have second.
I think it's you then and Sarasa. Malika. I saw she has a spiritual name.
What's my birth name?
You have a spiritual birth name. It's true. Only thing is I don't know when lunch is.
Mahal. I was talking with some devotees from your spire. They asked me to ask something. You come for the festival in Serbia?
I don't have the visa.
You cannot still get visas. Okay, I can try myself.
Also upstairs I have one plastic bag that has some fruits from. Shall I get it? Like I changed my booking for 10 o'. Clock. So then I promised I would call the Zurich for the. For their 7:35 and there's a 10 or the plane leaves the. Yeah, I have to be.
To. No. Sorry about my left hand. Sorry.
