Everything is spiritual energy. They can just fly on their own power. It doesn't require propulsion by some kind of chair engines. Now because there's a shortage in petroleum or in the supply shortage because of supply shortage and as a result the prices of jet fuel have gone up. Airlines are losing money they can keep up with. They want to stay competitive. People keep playing. People won't pay more. But the cost of fuel is more. It's only positive. So they may speculate, well, how does this all work in the spiritual world? Do they have, you know, Qantas and.

Singapore Air and so on and so forth? Nothing like that we can't bring over.

But they have everything.

It's all beautiful. They are variegated, perfect manner. This material world is considered a perverted reflection of the spiritual world. Now that they have.

So with your beautiful musical abilities, you're going to be glorifying the Lord. So as a result, you can now take birth as a vulture and there'll be a high fire.

You looking down at the dead body. And that was like that's his. The next body is. That's what he's entrapped to. He says live through one bodily existence, one lifetime because of his karmas. And then the wife, because she murdered her husband and she. But she was looking like a real pious widow wearing white. But actually she was also kind of a debauchee and she was behind the scenes doing all kinds of illicit stuff. So when she died and the kind of looked like a real beautiful pious person, like a beautiful and a pious lady. You know that your heart is black. You do so many horrible things. Okay, since you are just. Since you are well, look real good. But you really didn't lose your intelligence. What the future did the pay for all this? Karma did. So I'm devoting you to the animal kingdom. Next birth, we're going to take birth as a parrot. It'd be a beautiful bird. It looked really nice and beautiful, but you know, it'll be a bird baby. So there she was flying in the forest and enjoying her fruits. And things have been flittering around somehow by the Hula province. Her ex or former husband was flying over this forest and sees this parrot playing around and Says, hey, wait a minute, that's the wife that killed me. Now she took birth and stuff. Parrot, here's my chance for revenge. And he swoops down and grabs her. Then he figures, I don't want to just kill her because she should really suffer. So I'm going to torture her and make it a gradual, just rip her apart bit by bit, little bit by little bit, so she really suffers. He obviously had a human mentality. Birds don't have this. So cruel. Suddenly he was, you know, enjoying his torturing her. And she's screaming, screaming when they're being ripped apart. He got thirsty, you know, it was hard work torturing your ex wife. And he lands, he sees looking around for someplace to drink some water and he sees, you know, a skeleton lying in the open forest. And there was a skull upside down and the skull had water in it from the rain. So that looked like really delicious, nice fresh skull water. And if you're a vulture, it gives you a different perspective on things. That's how he saw it would have been pretty nice. He sat on the side of that skull and he was drinking a little bit of water. And then the parrot screaming in pain from being ripped by this cologne. So this vulture and some hunter hears the screams of the parrot, shoots his arrow and pierces the heart of the parrot and the vulture and they die. And they fall into the water of the skull. It was lying upside down. Then the yamadutas come and take the atmas away. So this was like a temporary and.

They still could remember.

At least he could remember what was going on, who was who. So this was just like a temporary punishment. That itguarness an animal that's kind of consciousness. That was their prison house.

Usually we're just in ignorance. We don't even know that we had a previous birth. We don't know what we did. But we get this body according to our karmas. So when he was taken back the atmas, the souls were taken back to Yamaraj. Then the cacao dance would say, well this guy, he didn't learn anything. You know, he's still in this human consciousness. He wanted to torture his former wife and he's trying to kill her. He has to go for some heavy rehab. Rehabilitation and hellish planets. Sometimes they make custom made ones when they have special order. So that's just to kind of prepare our consciousness. Amaraj said, no, they're going back to Godhead. And even the guy, he said, well, wait a minute, going back to Godhead, I'm a really bad person. I couldn't possibly be eligible to go back to Godhead. How is it possible? What did I do? And if anything, good, I'm really bad, which shows a good character. At least he could recognize that he was really, since he already had a change of heart. Yamura said, no, you see the water that you were drinking and fell into when you died, that skull on the skeleton was of a pure devotee who used to regularly read the fifth chapter Bhagavad Gita.

Bhagavad Gita, his body, his existence, his consciousness, down to his very bones all became pure. So the water in his skull was so pure, just because the bones are so pure from reading the Bible read a fifth chapter every day that it became like holy water, like a Ganges water or something. She was also praying. Whenever we had a difficulty, we were forced to remember Yuda Krishna. And we came to you for help. And you always helped us. So in difficulty you were always by our side. But now we don't have any more difficulty. Now where all the enemies have been killed or destroyed or conquered or whatever. We're not facing any more difficulty now. But now you're leaving us. So by having difficulty you'll be with us. And by having no difficulty you won't be with us. Then please give us more difficulty. Because you want to always be in your association. So maybe the we analyze our own consciousness. Sometimes our views are doing that. The one is, I am not anxious.

For just having more difficulties.

There are difficulties. There are also tests when we are in difficulties to remember Krishna, we take shelter of Ka and even comfort and success is also a kind of test. Because sometimes people remember Krishna when there is difficulty. But when there is no difficulty, they think why remember Krishna? Everything is going okay. So that's also actually a test that we should remember Ka all the time. Bhakti, Vinod, Takur, you can squeeze a little bit more here. He prayed Vibhone Sampone Jeevane morning that I want to remember you in the mind danger in my success while living or while dying. Such is the so all this difficulty. Actually we should take it as a blessing. Sometimes by difficulty we get more close to Ka. We learn to take shelter of Krishna more. There's also one saying in Sanskrit. The more you rub sandalwood, the more the sweet fragrance comes out. The more you beat the sugar cane, the more the Sweet juice comes out. The more you burn gold and melt it, the purer and the shinier it becomes. Like this. The more that the bodies are put into difficulty, the more that there are good qualities are revealed and such the Lord is. Even at the time of death. They will also be successful and will cross over the ocean of death and receive eternal life. You never know how strong somebody is until they are put in difficulty, right? If everybody, everybody here can say, I can lift 100 kilos. You won't know unless you put 100 kilo down and see who can lift it. Stop your seat, right? So who can actually take shelter of Krishna and difficulty and also in success? I know one devotee, he got a big inheritance. And he thought I was following all these rules and regulations and practicing everything. Because I was suffering like anything. I didn't have anything. Now I got inheritance, I got money. So why should I do all this austerity? Now I can't even join. So he failed the test. Says but for the devotee, some big problem. A problem which is, you can say, insurmountable. Like an ocean which is by the beach. Here anybody can swim to Tasmania. Oceans are insurmountable. As if for the devotee, ocean can be reduced. Like a small impression of our calf of a cow in the mud. You can easily step over it. So the problems don't go away. But they reduce, become manageable. The worry becomes stronger. So for them that's not such a big problem anymore.

Because of their taking shelter in Krishna.

How to develop at least when reading about Krishna? That's where that chant me in the Srimad Bhagavatam, first canto, second chapter. Was it the 17th verse that by serving the pure devotees of Ka, the affinity for hearing about Ka, which I would presume includes reading about Krishna. This one says, really challenge the desire, the taste for hearing about Ka. The affinity for hearing about Ka that increases by serving the dedicated devotees of the Lord. It's actually a secret for us to develop our taste. I was standing it.

Guru.

Well, there's two kinds of siksha. There's like just an informal siksha where someone gives some guidance for practically practicing ka consciousness but nothing very serious or physical casual kind of guidance that doesn't have any formalities. But if somebody wants to take someone as a siksha guru and the absence of the diksha guru and siksha guru's instruction would also carry some special weight Song is a damn contradict the diksha guru's instructions and the disciple would generally try to follow those instructions they have without a can always go back to the dictionary guru. Such a kind of a formal siksha guru generally requires the permission of the diksha guru. Sam Diksha guru give blanket permissions for everybody or for certain gurus but some kind of permission because what they're saying is that giving certain level of the power of attorney to the siksha guru. So that's why it takes a little if the diksha gurus around otherwise 1/10.

Remember whatever teachings that dikshanguru gave them.

Could take siksha from somebody who they know as in harmony with great big sheguru. But Krishna does Kavira. He has one big she guru. Everybody has one diksha guru. So allow them more than 1 and 6 Sikhsha Gurus. 6, 6 Rupa Sanatam, Bhattaraguna, Tashaguna Gopal Bhatta Viravata. So you have a good set of six. How do you describe a differentiate between sleep state conscious state, transcendental state, chanting Hare Krishna Mahamantra? There's the sleeping conscious and the dreaming state that we know about in this material world. We go through those three states when we're in deep sleep and that's like a total unconscious. We're sleeping but we're dreaming. So the mind's working and we're going in our subtle body and experiencing different things. When we sleep, a certain amount of time is spent in deep sleep and a certain amount of time is spent dreaming and both are needed for resting. Prabhupada always advised us that the tradition was in the I don't know if it's Ayurveda or what what branch it comes under, but the tradition is that one should sleep with the head to the east or to the and it was interesting because somehow I read in one newspaper article that some scientists did a scientific experiment.

So that could affect. So these scientists tested. But they had a theory that it was through the electromagnetic field in the earth. I don't know whether that theory is the reason or what was the reason. But what I found very interesting was that the conclusion was that it was best to sleep with the head of the east of the south. That's what the problem said. Now, as far as the transcendental state, that is a state of ill awakening. Normally we're just experiencing everything through the body or through the mind. So when we're in the transcendental state, actually the soul Atma is himself experiencing. So it's very important trying to achieve this transcendental state of consciousness. That consciousness is directly connecting the soul with Krishna. So there's nothing. It's very easy to be catched. It's difficult for people to give up something unless they're getting something in exchange. We like to give up their sense gratification. If that's their.

They're dependent on that for some happiness.

But if they have a higher place in Krishna consciousness, then they can regulate.

Some kind of abuse and they can bump to energy.
