I will leave it from here to him. So the Lordship please know.
Thank you very much.
Ram.
Also thankful to hear our humble report. Before I proceed, I would just like to welcome all of the devotees to Shimaya Vorjan for the festival. But I think in particular this year it's appropriate to welcome all the direct. Give a special welcome to all the direct disciples of Shihab who have traveled this year because there's a special 108th anniversary festival. And I'm led to believe that this particular gathering will be one of, if not the largest gathering of Srila Prabhupada's disciples ever. So it's a big welcome to all the Srila Prabhupada disciples. And I'm sure that Srimayapurajan, as is mentioned in the Krishna book, will become like the Sudharma assembly hall. And anybody who has any of the six pangs of material existence, they just have to approach the micromanagement and all of those pangs will be immediately relieved. OK, so we gathered on the 27th of February for our GDC annual GDC meetings. And on the first day we discussed various issues. One though, which was a constant theme throughout the meeting the GDC meetings was the issue of Guru Tantva. So there were many different discussions, etc. On the first day, his holiday, Sri Ramaraj gave a very nice presentation on this subject. So that was what we kicked off with really. And that set the tone for the whole ten days of meetings. Also we had the Fiji temple. It was announced as being the biggest temple opening outside of iskcon. But of course that was a mistake because it's in iskcon. But the biggest opening of a temple outside of iskcon, India, that happened earlier this year in Fiji. So that was the first day. On the second day, anybody who was at our last year will maybe remember that the GBC body decided to and give us a whole day, one special day just to the bbt, to book distribution, nothing else, just a whole day for discussing book distribution. Because obviously for obvious reasons this is a very important part of the Hare Krishna movement's desire. And also I think it's unique in the history of our society that if you like ISKCON and the BET working so closely together that they come to the meetings and take a whole day. So that was a walk, wonderful presentation actually a wonderful presentation for the whole day about book distribution throughout iskcon. So I'd just like to hand the microphone over first to Sheikh Ramaj to give a few words on that particular presentation because he was particularly inspired by it. Thank you very much Mahesh.
Very often our GBC meetings are perceived as factually sort of problem solving sessions. Society is not particularly reset but at least whatever problems accumulate during the year often follow the doorstep of the GDC body. And GDC really scrambles to deal with many of these problems. In other words, we have to deal with a lot of reactive issues. And one of the main aspects of this VBT presentation or let me say BBT book distribution presentation was, is that it was not reactive, there was no problem to solve. The problem aside on how to increase book distribution and it went on for the entire period of the day which for the length of the GBC meeting was four hours. There were talks by members of the gbc, by other special guests, book distributors, minister of Book distribution. There were video shots particularly of Srila Prabhupada and some of his very well known famous quotes, Distribute quote, distribute quote, distribute quote as well as the statistics. It was very well presented, excellently presented. Who is in charge of the North Eastern European Branch of the BBP made the presentation and orchestrated the different aspects of that presentation and it caught everybody. Everyone was extremely inspired and we were obliged to remember as well as discuss the fact that amongst all of our very most important activities in Islam, Srila Prabhupada mentioned that book distribution was Most important and for our society to go from strength to strength, pro distribution needs to go from strength to strength in terms of the quantity of books distributed, the qualitative way in which books are distributed, the number of books that are distributed. And we were not in love with many languages. It was up to 55. For instance, Bhagavad Gita is being translated in 55 languages. It's being distributed. And just the number of languages in which Nuphau Khan spokes were being described was mind boggling. There was a very nice sort of gimmick which was a blue light that was set up. The mothers also pointed out to us that there wasn't mind when that light was beeping once every second. So this rule for improvement, particularly any of you remember the pre devotee visco days from pre devotee where they had strobe lights which are flashing sometimes at 50 times a second. That would have been and was pointed out very much nice, effective had strobe light flashing in the GDC room pointing out that there are 50 books being distributed every second or who knows how many. But the whole presentation was very encouraging, very enlightening. In fact so much so that we never got to finish the agenda. The latter part of the agenda was going to be a strategy session that was to be directed by Gopal Bhattat Prabhu about well, what are we actually doing now that we're all very enthused how are we going to increase our distribution?
How?
Who is going to be doing what? What responsibilities for the individual GBC members they for president state what strategies could we employ in order to nap distribution at least ratio profile volume to be doubling on a duty basis. We saw some incentives. For instance that Rajesh Kaprabhu that was inspiring in America we have some videos from him how to put up magic book tables and Sunday feasts. He pointed out how Sunday feast lecture could be dovetailed with selling sets of books. And now on one Sunday feast lecture he sold four sets of books which led to the selling of another four or five sets to wrap our brains how to fulfill Srila Prabhupada's insatiable desire. And that was Srila Prabhupada's nature. He had an insatiable desire for spreading Krishna consciousness and for fulfilling his desire to just distribute both. Distribute both. Distribute both. Krishna Prabhupada said practically speaking eye whipping. So whether we're feeling that whip on our backs or on our arms, that's an individual thing for each devotee to evaluate. But at least this year we could be thinking, speaking meaning about how this aspect of Srila Prabhupada's mission can be enhanced. And then let's see what the GBC reports next year this time as to what more further concrete steps are being taken in order that every year our book distribution, which for the previous year, in other words 2004 there were somewhere in annexes of 4 million books map ETGs distributed throughout the world. These are just true Prabhupada books. It's a nice number. But if we hear Srila Prabhupada saying, all right, now distribute it, double it, that means we're faced with a figure of 8 billion for the next Srila Prabhupada gi Radha.
Just a couple of quick footnotes to animizers and rapport there. Vaishikavu presented and I thought it was really interesting and how he presented it. Him and a couple of devotees, they had this like challenge as a direct.
Result of their lecture.
So their lecture was there more book selling talk than a normal Sunday feast lecturer. So it was good that they had that competition. And the other thing is that Maharaj mentioned that this light was flashing every seven seconds which indicated a book is distributed every second. And then Maharaj pointed out that in the past it has flashed every second. But just to end on a positive note, yes, it used to flash every second but then it went to a point where I think the figure mentioned was that it was flashing every 25 trustees, that it's heading gradually back to the one second and more frequency. So it's getting better. On the third day, not the whole day, but quite a portion of the day was devoted to the cpo, the new director of the cpo. But I'll actually return to that later on towards the end of the report and I'll skip now to the fourth day. On the fourth day we had something that we've never had before at the GBC meetings and that was the GBC Open Door Open Door day. We weren't sure what would actually happen with the GBC open Door day, whether there'd be just nobody interested to come or whether we'd be inundated with people coming or whether our doors would be stormed by people coming in like that. We weren't really sure. But as it turned out, the time that we allotted for that, I think it was over two hours was completely filled up and we could have actually given more time to it. And there was a whole range of different things that devotees came to present from, you know, Philosophical issues, to cultural issues in our society, to personal issues and you know, whatever else. I think even somebody wanted to come. Although they ended up there wasn't enough time. They wanted a pay rise here in Liarpur so we left that one to the Liarpur management to deal with. You know, they promised us that Instead of paying 5 rupees an hour, they're going to increase it to 5 rupees and 50 price an hour. Anyway, I'm going to ask Rabindra Saroupaboo to talk a little bit on the arm today. Sorry, mistake. Very sorry for that confusion. Okay, so we'll go to.
The next.
Day which was day six of the meetings and that was devoted to the SNP And I don't know how many devotees have seen out the back here you may see this large helium filled yellow balloon. Anybody seen that? Yeah, Jaya. Okay, so that balloon, the top of that balloon will be the size of the temple. So you see wherever that balloon is, that will be the actual size of the new temple. So there were many issues that were discussed there. The Myanbra temple and maybe I'll ask Jagatakamarish to make a comment on that presentation. Being the senior most member of the smpdc.
Especially our chairman and managing director, his grace Amrish Prabhu. So you know when he gets painless ashuras to Srila Prabhupada is to see that this temple of Vedic Planetarium is constructed very quickly. So we originally were planning to have a temple that was made of masonry to be able to stand for thousands of years. But the budget for that was so high that it was very doubtful that we were able to build it. And we found that Srila Prabhupada had instructed Narayana Kabu, Narayanarayan Kabu that should make the temple like an umbrella with spokes. So that indicated a steel structure. So now we redesign and keeping the same architectural aesthetics but having a different structure. And that has brought the weight of the structure down to 6% of the original and the quads down to attraction also. So with this now he feels that the watches is within reach and the devotees are hoping that in the near future they'll be able to start their campaign for raising the funds. In the meantime they're doing the planning, a detailed architectural planning for the temple of any planetarium and everything should be ready within a year or so for construction. In addition it was decided that the temple beyond planetarium should be society registered by. So that's another program that's going forward in terms of the legal issue.
The.
Buildings during the year. So they mainly presented among the plans involved the challenges we're facing for the future. So I would say it's already positive and now we're getting gratuated. There's a need for engaging more and more devotees. So devotees looking for a service. Some of the services are in Maya Core and some would be services in different parts of the world to help with the fundraising and help with different aspects of the project. I think the Manchad group would help Wolfenstein on the bulletin board already. So this is an opportunity both for our younger generation, our group of alumni as well as for the old Crow pod battle generals that they can take up. Been there.
Elder.
I guess most of us are pretty old by now. Take off some service for Mayapur. This some of the highlights I can think about. And we're also planning for the exhibitions within the temple and I'm helping to coordinate that as a director but directly.
And.
Krishna premed up a team so that as far as said that the temple should have thousands of exhibits. We're also looking towards the scientists that were helping do the research on the scientific oriented exhibit. So we, we have to present their ideas, opening their ideas. How the Bhagavan taught us which science and how the Shimada language of cosmology is something which is very scientific that displayed the cosmos both from the Vedic point of view. And of course we know that that means the cosmos, the visible universe to show that what the Vedas say can be verified and are visible to part of the universe and what is beyond our verification in the higher dimensions and higher realms, those who also present within each temple. So the idea would be that now there would be planetarium insights, the temple there would be moving planets or some form of presentation of the planets and there would be many different things. But we're going to leave some of that for you in the future years. Right now they're planning the basic structure. We hope that we can start with the pleasure of your lordships and all the devotees and the media and chariots the foundation in a very short time.
To deal with different philosophical issues that arise. Like they're a group of Brahminically inclined devotees and they held the GBC body in reaching, you know, a proper understanding, if you like, of all these difficult philosophical issues. So they had two presentations this year, both related to Guru Tattva. One was in relation to choosing a guru. What's the best system for choosing a guru based on Shastra? And a resolution was passed by the GBC body based on the paper of the Shastric Advisory Committee. And also the other paper was in relation to the philosophical position regarding females being able to become gurus like that. So those two papers will be available for distribution to all the devotees and they can read them themselves and see all the nice work that the Shastak Advisory Committee are doing. Very hard work, but they're doing it very, very well. Then we had another presentation. There was one presentation by Naranjan Swami on Ukraine. He's the GDC for Ukraine. And it was an absolutely wonderful. It was half an hour long and it was a wonderful, wonderful presentation. And Naranjan Maharaj, if anybody wants copies of that, can ask Naraj Bulgan or also I think could choose a three of whom. Sorry, yeah, it's like it's a dd. It's actually TV quality. Yadavar produced it and apparently some TV stations are interested in taking it. It gives the whole history of communism in the Ukraine and then connected of course to the devotees and how things have changed and developed there. It gave a wonderful story about one devotee, I can't remember his name unfortunately he's quite a hold of a bodies in his old. He's probably the same age as me, but he's in his 40s or 50s now. And he used to be in the Ukrainian army of the Russian army, the Soviet army at that time.
And he used.
He drove a cargo plane. That was his job, driving a cargo plane, bringing military supplies to different. He was involved, actually he was involved in the Vietnam War. And he told a nice story that his spiritual master is in the Juna Maharaj. And he told a nice story that the first time he met Mirage they were discussing. And they were discussing their life. And this devotee mentioned that he was in the army and that he served in the Vietnam War. And Mirage said, oh, I served in that war too, but on the other side. So in the war they were fighting against each other. Now he was taking initiative. I don't know exactly where he was going, but it was somewhere over the Middle East. Yeah, Israel. That's right, that's in the Middle East. And he was flying over the Middle east in particular Israel and he suddenly. Two Phantom jets, I do believe two American built Phantom jets suddenly came after him and they. What's that? My American colleague is telling me that they were American made, but they were flown by Israelis. Yes, they were the Israeli armies and they were chasing him. And then also some land to air missiles started firing at him and he was expressing that Anybody who knows anything about the Ukrainian military, once they have some phantom jets chasing you, particularly when you're in an old rickety, if you understand the word rickety, you know, old cargo plane, then you really have no chance of escaping. But somehow or another he actually escaped. And he never could figure out what the purpose in his life was for escaping that chase. But then when he met the devotees, he realized that Krishna was saving him something more special. So anybody who's interested in that dbt they can contact say Maharaja or Chuchu Priya Prabhu and it's really, really a wonder. Wonderful presentation.
Yeah. Okay.
I'm just being told that that film is actually going to be shown during the festival. So it will be shown publicly. I don't know when or where, but it's going to happen. Then we also had a presentation on the new project in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. And I think I won't say anything about that. I think I'll hand over to Waktruk Maharaj and he can make a few comments about the Ujjain Rajan.
I would like to say, I would like to inform that this year we had record happening and that is Prabhu Shabu chair the GBC for three consecutive years. And he did it in the most wonderful way is Shivra Maharaj said Ayesh two years back. Oh yeah, yeah. Just before my festival became very sick so he couldn't come. And Prabhu Prabhu was the vice chairman and he was requested to chair the meeting. And then last year his volunteer Bhakti Chaitanum Maharaj was the chairman. But Prabhush Prabhu chaired the meeting so wonderfully that Bhakti Chaitanya Maharaj decided that he would like chair the meeting. And this year as a chairman in natural chaired the meeting. And it's very interesting to note that Prabhu Prabhu is actually a GBC film generation of grand disciples. And that shows the potential that our movement has in our next generation. I would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to professional group for leading our movement so wonderfully. Recently I got an offer from the Madhya Pradesh government. Madhya Pradesh Mata means actually center or middle. And Pradesh means a province. So from the name itself you can understand where that place is situated. It is in the Bakuli Center, India. And the government offered Government really wanted the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh. She was a lady called Uma Bharati. Very powerful personality. Krishna also is a Vaishnav from Matva Sampradaya. She is a disciple of Pejor Swami who is one of the present ashes chariot of the. And she being a Vaishnav Vaishnavi and being a part of the being a leading member of the Artil Janata Party which is. Which has a kind of Hindu promotion agenda. They wanted discount to be there in Madhya Pradesh. And they offered to give us some land. Not only some land, they actually wanted to give us a large piece of land on the bank of the river Shipra in a place called Uchen. Ujjain is actually one of the oldest cities of India. Wu Cheng used to be known as. As Abandi and Shanti Panimuni's ashram was there. And Krishna and Balyam went there to study. And Pulavasi Sanjeevanimuni's mother and Madhumanga Sandhya.
Manimuni's son.
Also were there. But just before Krishna's born, Purnimas went to Vrindavan and settled down there waiting for Krishna's appearance. And we can even consider long, long time ago that place used to be the capital of King Indra Tumbna for whom Lord Jagannath actually appeared. And that is also the capital of King Nikramalita, one very, very prominent king of India. And.
The.
Pumba Mela as you know, takes place in four different places in India. And Ujjain is one of those places. So it's a very, very speechful place. And so we had this opportunity to start something in Hunja. So we went there and we started center our arrangement, our presence there is a kind of a temporary. But in spite of the temporary, we actually have a hall given by the government in rent which is.
The cultural.
Center or community center of that part of the city. Just to give you an idea, the hall that the temple room that we have is. So we started our center there.
And.
We have our temple in a community center which is a large hall. And we have the deities, small deities of flag, small Ratambadhar here and little bigger than Ratambadhara. They're called their name as Sri Sri Radan Mohai. And they race in the temple girls. And we are. We have about 40 devices there. And local people are very, very supportive. Like now we get about 150 to 200 people come every.
Every evening.
During our evening I can see Mahaprabhu is here. Mahaprabhu was there recently and he became so inspired that he told me that he would like to come and spend a week every night in the gym preaching there. Mainly because of people there speaking Is English speaking person coming from a Maheshwari community which is the business community Spanish community there. And also Radha Krishna PR is also assured me that he will be coming there. And also we are. I'm negotiating with Radha Nand Maharaj to get Radhakrishna Prabhu permanently involved in to which. And so besides the temple many other.
Activities are going on regular this month.
Program besides Ramina is complete programs. And that is we set up a 3D animation studio. And in that animation studio we have a team of American experts which were led by. The team is led by one of our ISCON youth. Son of a devotee was a student. Now that. And this. This particular devotee Jay Chaitana he was teaching in a 3D animation school in Vancouver. And he actually came to Jain with his team and working on a 3D video game. And this video we actually made a demo demonstration like pilot project. And this project has been presented day before yesterday and yesterday in San Francisco video games convention and we got a very good support. Even Disney showed interest in that and Microsoft phones were. So this is how all in last 3 months time this project has been developing and we have a plan to build in. So I pray to Shishiradamata and they show their blessings that we can somehow spread their glory in that part of India and establish a subject movement effectively. Thank you very much.
Thank you very much. Marsh and Dan Reich's presentation also is motivating smiling to see all the new developments down there in Eugene. So we're under a little bit of pressure of time so I'll move quickly on another day. We have another innovation innovation but another new thing that we started last year at the GBC meetings and that was to invite all the children here from the Myapur group and the various Mayapur group.
I don't know how many children came but quite a chance you. Anyway there's some left over. So they came in and I think the teacher reached Linden and they.
They.
They came in.
We all vacated on our seats at the big table and they extended our seats. We had come receipt this welcome package that we got everywhere children had made very nice week different DVC a welcome card. Our teacher led them through. So we had these hand card welcoming us to Maya was designed and colored by by the channel. And also they did the artwork. It's a really nice district. They draw things around also provided by the show. So this is very good for the gbc. You may notice the GBC is over represented by some Ganses who are sometimes a little out of Touch some of the fundamental realities in life like children. And so this keeps us, all of us in. You know, me and my grandchildren are grown, so it's nice to read your time too. And so they do things based in all kinds of. And sat down in our chairs and of course what was on our minds, which is good for us to know this is the future of ISKCON or some GBC said out loud to the children, one day you'll be sitting there. And I think they had some mixed feelings about that. And so they let us. They led them to a session of the GBC meeting in which they voted on a proposal that they would like eat some cake. So the GBC served them cake showing a college battle. The GBC sometimes has given their will. And that was. That was our introduction. We'll have them back next year. These are five people children.
Thank you, Ru. Actually the one and every time he got the microphone, what he spoke was the same thing every time he just.
Went cake, cake, cake.
Okay, so that was Harry Sawyer, who you might have not noticed, twisting my arm as usual. So I need a variety of time. So I just want to quickly move through a few items. One is I'd like Lokanath Maharaj to say just a few short words. Just a few short words, Maharaj. On the Srila Prabhupada's 108th anniversary celebrations.
National Society for Krishna Consciousness was founder.
Of Chario is.
That we will be.
Celebrating this 20042005 as the Krilakopad's 108th birth anniversary year. And to do that we will be making Prabhupada more focused and the center dedicating all activities will become more Prabhupada conscious. And as we become Prabhupada conscious, we end up becoming Krishna conscious. Because Prabhupada reminds us of Krishna. Nice translucent trick there. More you think of Prabhupada, more he reminds us of Krishna. And as we remember also more of Krishna. He reminds us of Prabhupada. Big competition there between Krishna and Prabhupada. So this year and still the current year one week is still on to to dedicate our activities for the pleasure of Prabhupada. A number of things are done. Starting with the installation of pad for last year followed by Vasuria celebrating all the temples. Of course for some of the temples also b did the wedding of Prabhupada Bishop with 108 holy waters which we had collected again in India and some Viking temples. There are varieties of festivals, anniversary and funeral. But there are 4,000 Russian devotees coming to Jonah Mos festival. Bigger than my whole festival. On the bank of what is that called? Black Sea ocean. Then there was a national youth festival in India. Over 5,000 youngsters, students, college students from all across India gather in Pune and three day festival. Wonderful eye openers. Such a potential students very much interested in Krishna consciousness. 5,000 of them in 71. I remember. And this is Bombay. I was. There was one that was being. There are thousands across the country. There was a cross Maidan festival. The first festival was held in 71. And then again Shamsuddhar Prabhu took leadership. He was also the one who was involved in 71 organizing the festival. And it's called Jingu Mirador especially or Chi managers. The Lord is sponsored this festival. 5 to 10,000 in attendance every night. And festival was in fact all day long was televised all over the place the world, not just India. But then we have this reunion festival again here at Mayapur. This also 108 offering. There are rathiatas all over the world. Special bigger Rathyatras also were held in Canada. Three chambers in Bangkok. Rathia Special offering by BI Office of the Mother Mara organized conference in Rome. 250 scientists from across from around the world flew to attend this conference. There was a mayor of Rome and the president of the country attended the conference. That was quite a grand success. And congregational development did a wonderful. The organ does a wonderful job. There used to be only temples one time. But temples are meant for congregation. And now we have temples as well as very expanded congregation.
And.
And it is growing very nicely. And there are special emphasis by his convocational development history this year. Then the marathon book distribution marathon is called SC2 Big Distribution Marathon. The last one was 1996 for the yellow their padyankas in different countries. Our Padanta India became 2020 year old pad 20th anniversary of Prabhupada's patiata during his 183rd anniversary here. When a celebration is wonderful then what we have very special padiyatra this year. And this was out of Tasi in the same place where Prabhupada did his padiyatra organized padiyata following in the first steps of Sri Lana Prabhupada. Then there are few more items remaining. Because the major item is starting today. Maha reunion of Prabhupada's family. Especially Prabhupada's disciples united family. And of course not limiting to the Prabhupada disciples. But we Are this is Prabhupada's family reunion meeting. Prabhupada disciples and grand disciples as starting right now, right here until in June. There's one more item we have spreading the holy Name World Holy Name Day title that one week of Padiyatra B and ending with World Holy Name Day. We would like to have us every devotee or every member of congregation all the temples, all the zones taking part in chanting the holy Name on one particular day. And we'll start with Japan or somewhere and they do. We have all the temples in one particular time zone from North Pole to South Pole and then we move to the Hong Kong side and they do. And then Burma and then India and like that Middle east and then Europe and then east coast of America and the Hawaii like that. So for 24 hours we'll have a a roaring chanting of so be prepared for that celebration so quickly.
Moving on, I would just like to ask as you may all know, that Bhakti Tirja Swami has had a very very difficult year and continues to do so. And we just think it'd be very.
Very appropriate.
For us to say a few words. Glorification of Bhakti Church this morning. So I would just ask Madhura to.
Say a few words.
As many of you are probably aware of, is experiencing the effects of a deadly form of cancer and spelled of which survival is not really usually on the thrive. Since for those asked me last night to speak something I sent off an email last night to Andre Prithvaraj and received a reply this morning asking for a few words from him. This is what I'll be dear. Please accept my humble obeisances all the institute at the present time I am still trying a few more alternative treatments. But the allopathic doctors have said that there is really nothing they can do at this point other than expecting to pass in a short time. A few weeks ago, before I came to India, I visited Bhabhara. At that point in time the doctors said well, maybe 10% chance of some kind of survival. And I asked Maharaj if there was a time frame on that day. There wasn't that he was going the next day for some evaluation. And they said on that day, well, maybe up to two years may have but since that time it's been questioned. The alternative treatments seem to slow it down temporarily. We're being very aggressive at this time because the cancer once again seems to be spreading. My concern of course is not so much my own health, but more importantly the health of our institution iska the help of my disciples and in general how my life and my impending death can create value in helping all of us to connect deeper as Vaishnav sadness. How to serve and protect each other better to live our lives with much more compassion and to live in such a way that we help to minimize the suffering of others. Always dreams that our own abilities to connect with transcendence. I'm excited, full of gratitude and I see every day how I am being so blessed by pure and Krishna's mercy. Srila Prabhupada has blessed me and Krishna has been so kind to me far beyond my own worth. Even my terminal illness is a blessing in disguise. Yours is true Prabhupada's service and then he had to P.S. please remind the devotees about the prayer that I asked them to make last year in prayer form when I gave the class after the installation. The prayer is basically that we ask you the PR to bring us whatever experiences we need to have that will allow us to fully please him and to take away whatever is necessary to allow us to be better servants in his in institution. I personally spoke to Maharaj while I listen to him and I asked if there was any thing that any of us could do or he would like us to do and he reaffirmed evaluate prayer. But he asked one thing, this we can all do. He said when in the Holy Ghost, please take some vestment in your head.
To let all the assembled Myers know that our child, our cpo, our child protection office is it needs funding every year because as you know there's no income for that office. And I mean Islam doesn't have a taxation system, system etc.
Etc.
So it needs a minimum, really a minimum of $90,000 a year to US dollars, that foreign currency. It needs US$90,000 to function every year, the minimum of that. So we had a whip around the GBC body and somehow another after a little arm twisting and whatever else we managed to get up to about 72,000. Sorry, yeah, US$72,000 in pledges from GDC members, etc. So that still leaves a shortfall of US$18,000 or €12,000. And the GBC members really didn't have anything else. We tipped them upside down and nothing else was in their pockets. So I've been requested to request all the devotees if they were able to give any small contribution they can make their pledge outside. Just here at the NIHE notice board there's some pledge forms and you know, if everybody gives a little to make up that extra US$18,000, you know, isn't insurmountable. Of course, if anybody wants to make a place.
Yay. Ayat.
