Shantabhupada mentions that if somebody takes it up as their duty to serve the servant Lord Krishna, then Krishna reciprocates. And he promises to reciprocate without anyone approaches him. So that he reciprocates. And since you saw that person has taken up the responsibility that serve him, he takes on the responsibility to protect and anoint. We may not be able to do much service just by trying to do service for the Lord. Therefore we are able to attract the mercy of the Lord. In this way, by being respectful, appreciating all things connected to the Lord, you can make also very quick advance. Since all these holy places are connected to the Lord and the Lord's devotees.
