It's a representation of God because the spiritual master has all the qualities of a godly person. So and the spiritual master is also answerable to his own spiritual master. And his own spiritual master is answerable to his own spiritual master. On and on he goes to the supreme spiritual master who is none other than Lord Krishna. So when the spiritual master gives an instruction, we have to follow that instruction. Otherwise disobeying such instructions might actually, if not might, will impede on our spiritual progress. So when the spiritual master gives instruction, we have to follow it to our very best of ability.
