A devotional lecture by Jaya Pataka Swami explaining the significance and observance of ekādaśī (particularly nirjala ekādaśī). The speaker recounts the Bhīma–Vyāsa narrative to justify leniency and prescribe practices: strict nirjala fasting on the ekādaśī of Jyeshṭha (May–June, when sun in Taurus/Gemini) or observing the fortnightly fasts, associated ritual acts (bathing, charity to brāhmaṇas, chanting, puja/abhisheka), and claimed benefits (atonement of sins, avoidance of Yama-dūtas, return to Viṣṇu). You can feed some Brahmana devotees some sweets. Even if someone wants to be basically very simple and call him. He becomes completely pure flight.
