How do we develop on the quality of surrender to God? When we start the day we think that whatever we do it is according to God's will. But then as the day goes on, I mean that gets forgotten. Anger, everything comes into play. How to constantly keep that feeling of surrender.
You see that in the corporate world there's all kind of subtle politics if you play.
Exactly.
So some of my disciples are executives and one was working for the Sigate hard drive company in Malaysia and she had the problem. He was the, I think he was the operations he was the quality control and manager. So there was a vacancy going to come up as a gm. So the operations manager was against him because he was afraid that he would get the promotion. So he tried to screw him up and like this he was gone. So I told this Tony and Anderson in the Washington but she wasn't. I mean if he was, I don't mind if he gets promotion but she's all his vice president in his company. But I don't mind but he didn't want to take an extra load. So what he did was he talked to the other manager and this way, oh, that person was relieved really. You know, so there's different ways of dealing but we know that anger and so on that's in the mode of ignorance and then there's symptoms in the mode of passion and the mode of goodness. So according to how the other people are in different modes you can figure out how to deal with them. Just getting angry put you under the older ignorance. You can go ahead and see okay, this person, why is he angry? Why does he envy this against me? He asks for promotion, he wants this and then how, okay, how I deal with it. You can deal with the things that are more and at least that if you're Krishna that okay, I want your promotion because it's good for my career donation Krishna or go into emotion because they'll take too much time or busy doing some, you know, whatever our decision is accordingly we can deal with that person in another way. So knowing how people are subjected to the them notes of nature is very useful. We should be intelligent enough to see how the other modes are actually rewarded by the people around us and ourselves. In this way we can be enthusiastic to stay in the mode of goodness or transcendental goodness. Transcendental goodness is in the Surya ka and my goodness we're going to see the welfare alone. How do we not become complacent in our spiritual lives?
