I first met Rlajaya Pataka Swami guru Maharaj in 1976, 47 years ago. And it was after Mangala Arti. He came down for the morning announcements and asked all the devotees visiting from Mayapur for the Gorpanima festival if they had any books because they had troubles printing books in India or importing books. So he said if anybody has one of Prabhupada's books or they can spare, they can give to us. We can use them. Here in Mayapur we have a book shortage. So after breakfast I had a Bhagavad Gita hardbound Bhagavad Gita Macmillan I was kind of attached to. So I went up the stairs and got to meet Jayapataka Swami. He was sitting there inside of his room, right where he lives right today. And I gave him that Bhagavad Gita. He said, thank you. So all these years have passed and he has been unlimitedly perseverance. Thank you. Jaipataka Swami's made Mayapur what it is. He's the guru of my son, Abhay Charan Nimai Das, my daughter in law Shakipan and Subhadra. Many of you are his disciples, devotees all over town. Toto driver, the haircut man, the lady in the shop. He's developed this place. Prabhupada said that book distribution and development of Mayapur are my dear most projects. So we owe all of that to Jayapataka Swami. He's undergone a lot of trials and tribulations over the years, every kind of problem and he's persevered. And we have Mayapur the way it is today. Rlajaya Pataka Swami Ki Jai.
