The following are talks given by Mahavirahapabu and Ekanath Gaura Prabhu on June 15, 2023 in Bhaktivedanna Manor in London, England. The talk was given at the JSSS.

Meeting last time we were here.

But there was some other, we had other plan. I'll tell you why he went to the UK for his treatment in 2018. As most of you know, that he had his liver and kidney transplantation. And when we met the doctor in Chennai before the transplantation, they told us that transplantation is actually like training a bigger eagle with a small which means you can be still alive if you go for transplantation, but you will be still having some health issues, minor health issues. Reason is every single patient for gone through the transplantation, be it kidney, liver, post transplantation, the patient will be put into immunosuppressant medicine for life. It will artificially suppress your immunity level. So therefore they are prone to get different other diseases. You'll be still alive, but you have to put up with all these small, small LPC that may come by coming in contact with people, change of weather, different, different ways. So therefore he supposed to if the transplantation hadn't taken place, he would have left his body in 2018 itself. Krishna Swami is still with us and despite all these small, small health issues, he's still continue doing whatever services that he's, you know, been doing all these years for five decades for Sri Lanka. Robert so the recent one was the skin cancer for people, those who are on immunosuppressant drug, they cannot be exposed to the sun for a long time. And somehow he got his skin cancers on his forehead, head, no. So we found out that in the US they had a different method of treating these skin cancers, some advanced treatment. So we took him to us and with the information that it will last for two weeks, but then it ended up for two months because they had, it was 20 sittings and spread over to two months as usual. That was one of the reasons otherwise generally this is a period where Gurmar travels from India to via UK or Europe, mostly UK to the US for Paniyathi festival and to visit different other Temples and festivals. So this year, height of Sabyasa Puja in Mayapur, he left to the US via Dubai and the US from the first week of April till end of May or first week of June months he was there. He went to Los Angeles, then came to Dallas. And from Dallas, Dallas is a place where he stayed longer. And the trip took place in Dallas. And from Dallas every weekend he traveled to different, different cities for bridging. So he went to Austin, McAllen, Houston, New Orleans, Detroit, Minneapolis, Atlanta every weekend. And the treatment was on Monday, Wednesday, Friday the weekend he travels out and comes back to Dallas on Monday morning he goes to the treatment center. From treatment center to the airport, fly out to the other city and then on, sorry on Monday. So on Friday after Friday morning he goes to the treatment center, after the treatment all over and then he goes to the airport from Myasur to another city. And then on Monday morning he flies back into Dallas straight to Dean from airport straight to Dean treatment center. And then stays Monday to Friday again in Dallas and in between some other programs. And every night he was leaving Japan class on the book that he's working now. So more or less that's how he spent his last two months in Dallas or the whole of us. Everywhere there was big festivals and especially this year he went for the. For the first time he went for the Sadhusanga festival which was held in Dallas. We had many stalwart devotees like Giri Raj Maharaj. So it was a nice exchange of, you know, loving exchange between the God brothers and many devotees. And in Sadhu Sangha festival, I guess most of you would have watched the small video clip Guru Maharaj gave Bhagavan class on the 29th, I think of May. And during the Bao class, towards the end of the Bhagavadam class, there was not much time for questions and answers. And Soena, Sachin and Maharaj came up on the stage. And then he announced that Maharaj I'm sure the devotees, the audience down there, they are very eager to ask you some questions. But unfortunately time is our enemy and we don't have much time for questions. But I have one question, he said. Then he asked Guru Maharaj, how are you, Maharaj? Then Guru Maharaj answered that.

I am.

Actually somewhat a wrack. What is a rack means like wrecked sheep. So I am somewhat. My body is a wreck and I had a stroke. I can't sleep properly. And I went for a transplantation liver and tippy transplantation. And now I'm having skin cancer. But I'M happy. So this is the statement he made. When he made such a statement, literally every devotees were sitting there, had tears in the eyes. Because you see, this is the. He is like a living example how by practicing Ka consciousness seriously one can actually stay aloof without getting affected by all the problems in our life. Because most of the time, like in Bhagavad Gita, it says the non permanent appearance of happiness and distress and we are disappearance is just like the appearance and disappearance of the summer and winter season. And they rise from the sense of reception. One must learn to follow them without being disturbed. So we have many kind of devotees like when we face some problem in our life, in our devotional life, when we practice, we all of us, all of us face varieties of problems, challenges in our spiritual life, material life. And sometimes some of us who are not spiritually strong, when we face a small problem, we become very disturbed about it. And our mind always meditates on that. And that small problem becomes much bigger and much bigger simply by keep thinking about it. And there are devotees, when they face some problems, they tolerate the problem, but they are still disturbed. They are not happy with it, but they are able to tolerate, but they still disturbed and not happy. But there are another level of devotees when they face problem, they tolerate but they are happy. They are not at all disturbed by this, all these challenges and problems. So that's Guru Maharaj, which we have seen in him. I mean, I don't know, we can describe later, we have a time, how much austerity that he has to go through in order to, you know, to actually live his day to day life. The kind of austerities he goes to for traveling, meeting devotees, every single thing. It's a big osteh, austere life and kind of health challenges that he has. But despite all this, he made a genuine statement that despite all this unhappy because he is connected to Krishna within, because he is deeply rooted in devotional service. And that is what making him to be not at all disturbed by all these external challenges in his. So this is a perfect, perfect real time example of how we devotees, we can actually overcome all our challenges if we deeply establish ourselves in Ka consciousness. It's a perfect example. It's a life, you know, like in the class. Because that's what people want. That's all we all want. The other day me and Eknath, we were discussing material life. It's like sitting on a cactus. No matter where you sit, which angle you turn the cactus around, it's still going to Hurt you. So no matter how we adjust our life within this material world, still it will hurt you. Hurt us. So there is no way of escaping from this material world unless we connect ourselves deeply in Krishna consciousness. Then despite all these problems, no matter what problem, we pass through simply by establishing ourselves deeply in Krishna consciousness, definitely Krishna will protect us. And Krishna will make us to save all these challenges and problems very smoothly. So that is the perfect example of how Guru Maharaj is leading his life.

I'm very happy again to be here in uk. You don't mind my brothers and sisters. First of all, in this trip, I don't know if you know, new devotees came. Did you notice? So you can read devotees from Malaysia because in Malaysia they have a special tree. Very difficult, yes, very difficult to find. Only in Malaysia, you know, we live there. So it's one tree. Like, you know, you see the beans in the haveli, some many beans. You can cut it from one tree. So like that you can. Shiva, Chaitanya, Kripacindhu and Gokul.

They are.

Very old devotees.

They have been serving. They collect the open temples, farms, food for life, book distribution, preaching all over Malaysia, Rathayatras. And now they are still traveling a.

Even though all of them, they are temple residents, they still didn't manage to come here. They're very focused when they serve Guru Maharaj. They just, you know, they make things very focused on serving.

How many you speak Tamil? There are also many good Tamil preachers. So you can invite them to come in the future. And how many of you know, Bishop? Few in the back. Also coming from us. We're young boys, since very young age. Yeah, Bishop Ambar. Bishop Ambar was serving Guru Mahaj since very young age in US and then he came to Mayapur. He's a very expert chiropractic. So he was treating Gurumaj. He takes care of his medicines. He's very like focusing what medicine they give or not. He's a Vikrama for at least, I don't know, 10, 15 years. I remember since. So Brumas is almost here. And then we have another cheer. And Prabhu in the back, I cut.

So also he's coming from United States. He lives in Michigan.

Right.

Michigan in the farm. He's very expert in training how to do farming with wolves and you know, how to make the houses with mud and cows.

A lot of guests come, A lot.

How to cuddle the cows treatment. Just by cuddling the cows, you get healed. So person rather you can learn from them.

Serving Guru mash very nicely. So please thank the association. And then, you know, Boranga, somebody knows Boranga also from Italy. He started traveling with Guru Mahaj all over India. Since COVID he's there serving pigs.

So he also came very young.

So this is a new crew, very dedicated, selling gurumar. So let's give them a big figure. We need our young, young blood. But they are serving very, very nicely. So I'm very happy to be in their association. So in Italy, they asked me, what is your realization traveling with Guru Mask? So today I was taking shower and I was thinking, thinking in that realization. And something came into my mind that, you know, we have somehow or another little characters in this malaria world.

Little bit.

All of us has little something, right? But yet, even though we are conditioning, you know, from our nartas, from illusory energy and from this material world, from bombarded every time, yet there is one person who is bringing, even though we have all these things, who inspire us to bring the best out of us. Yes or no? And I was thinking, I have seen, even though we are not qualified, we have so many artas ego this that still when we do service, when the devotees connect with the spiritual energy, then they bring the best. They do tons of preaching, they bring song in devotees. If we disconnect, then Anantaskama guys. But yet when we connect, it brings the best of all the devotees. And I was thinking that Guru Mahaj has this quality to bring the best out of us when we connect to that mood and mission of Prabhupada. Are you really on that? Yes, we see. We see many devotees. And when traveling more, I see you know this question many times about, oh, look at this, that. But yet I'm seeing that even though devotees may have faced challenges and problems, yet when they serve and connect with Prabhupada, they bring the less they do.

Such a nice service.

So I was thinking how Gurma has that. And in the temple of Vedic Planetarium, that Gurma, she is doing the part of the museum exhibits part. So we are trying to explain the seven planetary systems, then the spiritual world. One of the discussions is how different states of consciousness you have access to to different places in the universe. And when your mind is transcendental and transcends, when you are situated in Krishna consciousness, then you are in the spiritual world. So this shows that we connect. When we connect with Krishna, when Guru Mahas inspires us to connect with Krishna, then we are in the spiritual world. Prabhupada says that in a letter. Because whoever in a letter, what Prabhupada says, if you are in the Ka consciousness state, then you are not falling. The moment you leave your Ka consciousness.

State and you fall down.

And we can see as I was talking about the inspiration, when we connect with that spiritual energy, we are in a different state of consciousness and we can tap to that energy, to Krishna's energy, and then be able to do miracles like what Shabbat. Sundar Prabhra was sharing the other day in the part with Guru Mahara. They used to be fearless. He said we used to be fearless.

That's the secret.

You are fearless for Krishna. And the more fearless you are, the more Krishna, the more challenge you take in your life. The more difficult is the challenge, the more you can say Krishna. And you can see a lot of your preaching when you do some special ceremony by the church. You see how Krishna intervene. Yes or no? I was thinking in that shot to share with you how amazing Guru Mahas is that connect us through that spiritual energy. So now Guru Mahas is coming. Gonna receive him with a big.
