The class begins with a reading from the Srimad Bhagavatam, third canto, chapter 2, verse 16. This Uddhava met with Maitreya Rishi.

They asked, how are you doing?

It's natural that they ask, how are you?

Even when Lord Ka, he is playing the part of human being, he will also oh, how are you doing?

Even when Lord Krishna, he plays the part of a human being, he also asked, oh, how are you doing?

Because in this material world, a person may be good or may be bad.

Because in this material world, person may be good or may be bad.

In the spiritual world, they don't ask, how are you?

Because the idea that even there is something other than complete bliss is inconceivable.

There in the spiritual world, the walk is a dance and the speaking, the talk is a song. There in the spiritual world, everything is spiritual and everything is miraculous.

But in the material world, it's not like that.

In the material world, it is not like that.

So in the material world you have this dichotomy.
