Gurmaj's 75th Vyāsa-pūjā
ISKCON Noida
“Mukam karoti vachalam, pangun galam hata grim” (as quoted in the speech)
His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
Namam Bishnupadaya Krishna Prashtaya Bhutali Srimadejay Pataka Saminity. So my obeisances to all the Vaishnavas present and I'd like to announce on behalf of health team who is tirelessly working day and night within the hospital and outside the hospital, that Gurmaj is now out of the hospital Hareem and he's on the way to ISKCON Noida to celebrate his 75th Bas Puja. Hare Krishna Kotechai. Guru Maharaj Maharaj. Actually I'm not qualified to speak about Gurmas because his personality is so huge that even I cannot understand even the very small percentage of his personality. So similarly, once in Kolkata, after Gurma's liver and kidney transplant, before Guru Mahj goes to the stage, because Gurmaj takes some time to prepare. So they want me to speak about Gurmaski. So I was like a blank that time. I don't know what to speak. The same thing is happening right now also. So I went to the Guru Maharaj and asked him, Guru Mahj, what should I speak about you? So Guru Mahaj said, speak something spiritual. So at that time I could not understand what that meant. And I went to the stage and speak all about Guru Mah's medical condition. What happened, how much difficulty he difficulties. He went on to come out of the icu, to come out of the surgery and all those things. Now I can realize that what he means because today also all of a sudden I got opportunity to speak glorify about Guru Maharaj. So I just remember one Shloka right now which Guru Maharaj often quotes in his lectures. Mukam Karotiwachalam, Pangulang Hategrim. So whenever I see gurmaj, this shloka 100% fits on Gurmaraj. Because of Gurmaj stroke, he could not speak properly. And many of us could not understand Gurmaj directly. So Gurmaj needs repetitors to speak. So it's like Mukam, like a person who cannot speak. But in the same time he is preaching to the millions and millions of the people. So I think all of you agree on that one. Similarly, Pangulang, Pangulang means the person who cannot walk because of the Gurma's paralysis or stroke, he could not walk. But at the same time he crosses not only mountains, but many, many oceans and seas and go to abroad and different, different places of the world to preach about the Krishna and Mahaprabhu. So this sloka always reminds me that how Guru Mahaj that is possible because Gurmaj is totally surrendered to his Guru, His Divine Grace Avay Chanarabinda Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. So that kind of Guru Nishta we should try to develop onto our own Gurmaj also. So I would like to again wish very very 75th happy best puja to all of Godbrother, God Sisters and our seniors.
