This is a recorded Vyāsa-pūjā offering by HG Jananivāsa Prabhu (75th Vyāsa-pūjā) featuring devotional chanting and a talk on the supreme quality of Lord Vishnu—mercy toward suffering living entities—and the parallel mercy of the spiritual master (guru). The speaker emphasizes surrender to the guru, executing the guru's orders, and practicing Krishna consciousness fully; he illustrates the guru's magnanimity with an anecdote about giving initiations (Bangladesh/Bangalore, Rupasanatha temple) and disciples receiving beads. The video also includes a short devotional line by Tarasab and a closing channel CTA encouraging subscriptions and sharing.
Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare. Hare Hari, Ram, Hari Ram, Ram Ram, Salatan Shakshur Militan Gina Tasmai Shigravi Namaha. So in the beginning of creation, all the demigods and sages, they gather around Lord Vishnu who's lying on the ocean. And they ask him, they ask him, please wake up and perform activities just like the king has reciters, professional reciters in the morning, to wake the king up, they chant, the king is glorious. You are such a great king. You defeated such and such a king. You've got 10,000 elephants. They go on and on. The king, because he's passionate by nature, he likes his glorification as he wakes up. And then they ask for some benediction. But they say that of all the glories of the Lord, they're praying around Lord Vishnu. All the glories of the Lord, there is the greatest one. And what is that one great quality? Greatest quality is that you have mercy on the living entities who are suffering in the material world. This is your greatest quality when you deliver the living entities from the cycle of birth and death. So then Saipatak Maharaj, he has that same quality. He is very, very merciful. We cannot understand the extent of his mercy. But yesterday we had the ID West Germany this was showing the gravity of observing today's function. But the Vaiyasa Puja is not so grave because the subject matter is very great and its application. But Vyasa Puja is a celebration. So we have two things we have to it's understanding the gravity of the Cisham, how the guru is actually come to take us back home, back to Godhead. And the other function is the. The happiness and joy of Sankirtan movement. Our movement is a movement of Sankirtan. It's a joyful program. So and so like this Guru Maharaj has come to give his mercy to anyone who comes and takes shelter of him. He doesn't deny anyone. And he will give initiations even in extreme, extreme circumstances and cases. I remember one, we were in Bangladesh, we were in Bangalore, Dinesh and we opened up Rupasanatha temple opening. And he was giving dictionary initiation whole day long, all night long. And then he was leaving. They said, guru Maharaj, you have to catch the plane. We have the next destination. And the disciples were literally running behind him in the car, getting their beads from him. So right after the last minute he wanted to give initiation to living end to this persistence. Magnanimity has. His greatest quality is that he can deliver us and will deliver us from the cycle of birth. Surrendering to Guru means executing the orders of Guru. You're going to do it anyway. You're going to do Ka consciousness anyway. But it's the way that you do it that is important. And we want to have this facility that we can so Gurumade and that he will accept ourselves. We're doing the activities anyway. So why not do them in the 100% ka conscious? We've got to do the activities in devotional service anyway. Why not make them all completely purified activity and it's over really much. This will very much please Guru Maharaj that we take his blessings seriously. Thank you very much.
