Hare Krishna. So first time I met His Holiness Jaipattaka Swami maharaj was in 1993 Navadvi Mando parikrama. And that's how I learned how to chant Go Ranga. And it was certainly a turning point in my life. My life was never the same. And we went on Navadvik Bando Parikrama. And my service was to perform natak dramas.

Now Amoga Leela Prabhu is doing that Seva. He's very expert.
We are learning from Maharaj. We are learning from him.

And these dramas are very pleasing to His Holiness Jai Prataka Swami Maharaj. So we came to Kolavecha Sridhar's house and Parampuja Jai Pataka Swami Mahars called me. He said, I want you to do a drama here or Shirjebatanga Marajine. I said, Maharaj, I don't know the Leela here. Sit down. And for 10 minutes Maharaj told me the entire Leela. The whole Navadvi Mundo Parikarma was just frozen. And Maharaj told me the whole Leela. And then we performed the drama. And Maharaj, Guru Maharaj and the Vaishnavas were very pleased. So we see how personal Maharaj to do one on one with each individual devotee another service Maharaj inspired me for was World Holy Name festival Vishvaham Utsav. So we were having a divisional council meeting, West India Divisional Council. Somehow Maharaj was there. There I made the World Holy Name.

And he encouraged his disciples as long as myself to do very nicely in this ministry. And I'm very happy to say that he His Grace Jagannath Kirtan Ananda Prabhu from the UK One of dear Godbrothers Jaitaka Swami Maharaj Kishisha is one of the key core members of the ISKCON Kirtan ministry. So I feel Maharaj's empowerment and support with every step of my journey in Krishna consciousness. So I was before I was Sri Krishna Chaitanya Swami, my name was Ekalavya Das Brahmachari.

I was a Sannyas candidate.

In those days, in those days, the GBC was very strict about the Sannyas candidates. The Sanyas ministry was very strict. It's actually easier to become the President of the United States than a Sanyasi in iskcon. It's easier to become the president. So I was in the GBC rooms and I met His Holiness Jai Pataka Swami Maharaj. And Maharaj called me and he said, are they going to give you sannyas this year? I said, no, Maharaj. Why not? He said, they're telling me I'm not humble enough. So Maharaj said, don't worry, I will vouch for you. So my name came up in the GBC meeting and there was this objection. And then Jayapata Kamraj put up his hand and for half an hour there was a battle over my sannyas. And then finally the conclusion was, okay, not this year, but definitely the next year. So by Jai Pataka Swami Maharaj's mercy, I receive sannyas. So very grateful to Maharaj at every stage of my journey. One time I was with Maharaj and one of his disciples came to him and the devotee said, guru Maharaj, please give me your blessings. And then Guru Maharaj said, of course I give you my blessings. That is the duty of the Guru Guru to give blessings to the disciples. So that is so wonderful that we have such a munificent and magnanimous Guru Maharaj who is giving blessings to all of his disciples. So on this most auspicious day of Parambuja Jaya Pataka Swami Mahas Vyasa Puja, I beg at his lotus feet to always have his blessings that I may progress in Krishna Consciousness.
