And early morning is also mode of goodness. And chanting during daytime is mode of passion. Because daytime is mode of passion and evening time is mode of ignorance. And sometimes people doesn't like to chant sitting down because of health problem. That's all right. But. But generally best quality of chanting happens when we sit down properly. And Prabhupada used to say sit properly, sit properly. Because it's a process of Yoga, Bhakti Yoga. So sitting properly is very very important. But we have a tendency to walk and walking and also doing so many other things along with walking that is not so recommended. And sometimes people become very relaxed, lie down on the bed and chant. So that is also not recommended. And one devotee, one child was telling to his parents that I want to lie down and chant. He said why? Because I heard that if I lie down and chant and Krishna will stand and hear. And if I sit down and chant then Krishna stands and Krishna dances. And when I dance and Krishna faints, I don't want to give trouble to Krishna so that I chant lying down so that he can relax to us hear my chanting.

And Sahas lying down in the job, someone like to lie down in the Dham.

Guru Maharaj is telling lying down in Dham is also glorious. Because if you lie down in Dham you get the benefit of Dhannavats. So don't try to follow that during chanting. But benefit will be there.

So detachment is very, very important. But detachment is the byproduct of attachment of Krishna. And attachment of Krishna can be attained by hearing about Krishna, by rendering devotional service to Krishna. So therefore Nityam Bhagavata Sevaya, by serving the Vaishnavas regularly and hearing Simar Bhagavatam regularly and chanting the Holy Name sincerely, we can slowly develop the attachment for Krishna and also developing the detachment from the material nature. But at the same time it is a simultaneous journey. We cannot keep on enjoying and at the same time expecting that we will progress in spiritual journey. Prabhupada used to say, dudo khabo, tamako khabo. Both cannot happen. If we want to experience the taste of milk, then we have to give up tobacco. In the same way, if we want to experience the spiritual life, then we have to give up our spiritual attachment.

Hare Krishna how can we understand? The spiritual master is never far away from the disciple.

The relationship between guru and disciple is established through Bani. Srila Prabhupada used to say, I was not separated from my spiritual master for a moment. But he met a spiritual master only few times in his life. Then how we can understand this? Because he took the instruction of his spiritual master as his life and soul. And he was completely meditating on that how to fulfill that instruction. So when we hear the Bani of Guru then that becomes eternal relationship. Because body may be there, may not be there. It is temporary, but Bani is eternal. So therefore we have to develop that attachment of Bani of the spiritual master. So when we hear from Guru regularly, then what happens? We develop that attachment with the guru. So Srila Prabhupada it was explained that he used to hear from his Guru Maharaj very attentively. Srila Bhakti Chandra Shaji Tagore Prabhupada used to say that Avhai is to hear very, very attentively. And Srila Prabhupada repeated whatever he heard. And Guru Maharaj also told that Prabhupada liked him because he used to ask questions. So that shows that we are hearing right. Another symptom of hearing is that when he asks questions. So from the very beginning days, Srila Prabhupada was very happy with Guru Maharaj because Guru Maharaj was is to ask questions. So the bottom line is that essence is that through Bani hearing the words from the mouth of the Spiritual master create that bond with the spiritual master.

We need daily sincere efforts to progress in our Ka consciousness. Some days we fail. How can we be practically and consistently sincere?

Sincerity is not a sentimental word. How to determine that someone is sincere? I am sincere. Someone says I am also sincere. Surupa Goswami is very very clear. What is the meaning of sincerity? Sincerity means 100% for ka. That is the meaning of sincerity. So someone who is sincere means he gives 100% of his life for Ka consciousness. No personal business. That is a symptom of sincerity. And when someone is sincere in that sense, then he is eligible to receive the mercy of the supreme personality of God.

How can I be a good devotee when I am unable to get association of devotees because of health problems? And especially when I am very new in Ka consciousness.

So your question is very diversified. So because of health reason if you cannot get association. But now is the era of online. So wherever you are, however your health is not good. You can always be in the association when we hear. Because now you can see Guru Maharaj is giving lecture here. And devotees from all over the world are hearing. So that's association. There is no difference. Physical association and hearing the bani. So if you are unable to physically be present because of her health reason, but at least you should hear online, then you can be a good devotee. Without hearing and association of devotees, we cannot become good devotees. Gopa said, oh, I am to be Ka conscious Without association of devotees. It is like a fantasmagoria does not exist. So in order to become a good devotee, we always try to be in the association with the devotees. An association does not mean only physical association. Association through the process of hearing and chanting. And what is the second part of the question?

Especially when I am very new in Ka concept.

So new doesn't mean that number of years or number of days new means when we are not advanced. Just like Katlanga Maharaj become pure devotee in a moment. Parikshit Maharaj became a pure devotee in seven days. Number of days is not the determining factor. Whether someone is a new devotee or old devotee, some can remain a new devotee, not advanced devotee for lifetimes. So Adusaddatta, Sadhusanga, Vajanakri, Anatthani, Briti, Nistharuchi, Ashakti, Bhava and Prema. These are the different levels of Bhakti. If someone is at a higher level even in few days, he is not a new devotee, he is an advanced devotee. So therefore Number of days is not an important factor. Whether we are reaching to the higher level of devotional ladder that is very very important. So when we are in the higher ladder then that is a symptom of advancement of Ka consciousness.
